You used to be able to do that, however it was removed for database reasons.

You can still use the Unlocked containers, but now you have to pick them up in your inventory and drag items to it just like a backpack , then drop it back in your house... You can open and pull things from them when in the house, but it will not let you drop things into them...
I used to have about 20 of them in my house and they look geat in teh house as opposed to backpacks, but when they added "Live Creature Habitats" the unlocked containers bugged out and I think they may be related...

We dont even have the option of doing that anymore cause we dont have anything like that to use for storage and even if we did i have to go through my house and give away stacks of resources that are outdated cause as a former crafter stocking up for a return i have 2 banks and 2 houses full of mostly crafting supplies
Want i want to know is do devs up the limits on there personal houses or just give themselves more lots?
Good question... I doubt it....

Hysterical. And to think you could've answered something useful.....
Oh I love TH's reply! It had nothing to do with the topic of this thread. That's just as disrepectable as the forum changes. Dis-ed and Dis-ed again. lol

But the big problem with the "live Creature Habitats" is that absolutely anyone can just walk into your house, select "Release Creatures" (or whatever the command is) and destroy your decoration (if you place one of those tall wooden torches dead in the centre of one it makes a nice high tech looking lamp that actually provides light). I'm forever crafting new habitats just to put down in my house where some git's walked in and randomly destroyed them just for the fun of it.
