I hope the dev's are not thinking of letting a Novice CH create a mount, That will just lead to Many moreCH'sin the game, Not to mention how is a master CH suppose to make money, they need to make the create mount skill higher to obtain, Lets not start taking money from the CH's ,its alreadyhard to make money since everyone is CH 1/1 and running around with a GSP, no one wants to buy a non CH pet if they can put no effort into getting a Uber pet. GSP'sare way to low on the skill level as is. the DEVs are making it way to easy for players to get Uber skills with little to no effort and that really sucks.. Come on and Cut us a break i didnt grind all the way to master for nothing i would like the have some reason for being a master CH besides calling a rancor.. My dreams of opening a CH shop have been killed and now i wonder whats the point. Play SWG for the free Give away

Ok I read somewhere that they'll be considered pets still and that CHs have to specify whether or not they want them to be mounts or not when taming etc. You can fight from the back of your mount, except you can't do any special action shots etc. Dismounting your pet you can then let it attack as usual etc. ok I'm ok with all that..


But why do non CH's have a limit of only two in their datapads? I know I can only have one pet out at a time (no biggy) and I can only have lvl 15 or less pet (no biggy still) but why can't I own more pets. I mean what is the purpose of doing this?


I hope you guys (the devs) do something to address it. I have a regular pet/pet like my dog, then I have my hunting dog, and now I'd like something to ride around. So I understand the limits otherwise, but limiting the number of pets I can own seems well.... dumb.

yes, Will we need to retame a mountain dewback or various other pets to mount them, or will the ones we already have tamed be sufficient?

it seems that you can train the pets that qualify for this with a new command that comes from the radial menu under train. i read that on the test center board. i also read that giant carrion spats are mountable, but i also read that might be a bug. it seems you do have to have the proper ch skill to ride the mounts. and the big ones are the slowest, dewbacks and bol are the medium speed, and the smaller creatures are the fastest. i hear that spats and kaadus move well through water and up mountains. either way, i'm psyched and i still can't wait.

You need banthas. They are more important in the starwas universe than alot of the stuff on the list. Tusken raiders ride them and they need to be included early. The have dewbacks which stormtroopers have been known to ride, but no mountable bantha. That makes absolutely no sense.

Ok, so let me get the straight. Some of you think that since Banthas were in one part of one planet in one movie that should be the first thing the dev's release?? Or since taun tauns (sp?) (same one part of one movie thing) look similar (ok the same)to an animal that is on Tat that they should put that one in? Um, is this Star Wars "Galaxies" or Star Wars "neighborhoods" I mean crap.. They just gave us a fair selection of mounts to ride as a start and some of you are purely focused on an animal that was only ridden by the sand people anyway. At this point I wish they would not release anything to put an end to the whiners on this board.


And as far as having too much money. I have to go to Dath for 3 days a week just to afford my maint, travel expenses, weps, etc. Do you wealthy players just sit around and do nothing but take advantage of the peeps you sell your stuff to? I spend close to 100k daily and my average bank account total is less than 20k. There should be a balance between the understandable realistic attributes of the game and having fun.


Ultimately whiners will be the end of SWG being fun for "everyone". Do I think Commando's and Bh's are super powerful, Um, duh! Do I think the AT-ST has wicked firepower, lol, again, um, Duh! But crap, who cares.. If you want to be the most powerfull character then go be a Commando Imp with 3 AT-ST's instead of trying to bring those uber professions down to where a pistoleer can take them.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!


There are no baby Bols, and to my knowledge the BE made Bol is bugged. This could ahve been a great opportunity to give the BEs a monopoly over the Bol market (bolsshould bethe best overall mount BTWas they are faster than Brackasets).


All you whiners can just go get a Kaadu. They can outrun a bantha and they were in eppisode 1. Most of the mounts out there are better anyway. Just look at mountain dewbacks and compare them to a bantha. You will see what I'm talking about.
