I posted this in the GCW forum, and someone mentioned to post it here, so I'll just paste the entire writeup I did:






Ok, I'm not to sure the reason for 2 missions, but I'm sure it is strange. lol


Anyway I've been running faction missions all day and I realized it takes me longer to retun and pickup 2 new missions and run back out. In the latest patch it said they removed something about mission browsing the whole planet, but wasn't aware of this previous.


Anyways, my idea:

A faction Uplink Terminal. You buy it from a Recruiter like your support troops, and like your support troops it will only work if you are Overt, something the devs like for people to be.


The pros are that you would be able to get missions while you are in the field and away from your commanders, just like the mission terminals now, they go from any range and will move at the 250m mark.


The cons (the reasons you may not want it) themissions you will get are 75% of what you could get from the terms in the cities, they cost 3000FP to aquire, and I mentioned before, you need to be overt to use them.


What does everyone think about this?

Hey man... I just don't want to see Jedi swarming the server is all. It's good that they're hard to play but I'm worried about people playing them anyway and making the game look/feel stupid and nothing like the Star Wars Universe...

i´ve heard some nice and neaty ideas on this board, since im now unsubscribed i spend more time on this forum than before, i´ll bring some up

- Faction Professions* a nice idea i think read here; http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Techsupport&message.id=146115


-I also recommend that you devs could try add new squares to all professions if possible, would be really great since i feel that right now the profs are to small and too easy to fill up, wich makes me a bit sick of the game ( now im not thinking about the holo grinders)


-Also more visual effects would be nice, for example when crafting anything?, eating? just make the game a bit more alive

house maintenace add the ability to retrieve your mainteneace money so that you can sell your house without loosing all that mainenatce or so that you dont scare people from buying your house when you ask them and tell them the price is 90k for the house

how about click drag and drop your items in your house how would that work so you dont have to worry about typing 10 tims to place a item where you want it just drag and drop

Increase tthe storage of the house like you said, but limit everyone to one house and special consideration for guilds. The planets are clustered with too many houses. If you limit the storage for players it will make the player keep what is necessary or very rare instead of having three houses full of complete crap. I mean, how many Batha statues can you have folks...

I love the idea of extra boxes to improve your profession, however I think it should cost you some skill points. That would make a difference in players instead of being the same ol commando. You will have bonuses.. Also, each species should have better bonuses. If the species in Star Wars folklore was great in a specific area, they should get bonuses. Not the lame ass natural stat migrats, but maybe if your species makes natural Rangers, then you could give them like tracking capabilties over a much larger area then a species who would make a better medic. Anyone can do it, however only these species willexcell. I hate how every commando is the same asevery other commando.

Why can aREBEL BH kill aREBEL Jedi???


The purpose of a bounty hunter is to hunt bounty and if that bounty is alligned with a faction? why are they allowed to kill their own faction but faction members can't defend the ones being attacked? That my friend is called broken.





2 words and remember them well cause this is soNOT Star Wars it isnt funny.

Either make a faction for bounty hunter's, or force them to be non-alligned ( like they are suppose to be to begin with )


Does George Lucas know you guys have this type of system in place?

I'm not a jedi just completely in awe at the stupidity of this system. Or aren't there enough problems in game that you have to mess up the content that much more? Sorry if this sounds like a rant but man....seriously think about it.
