Vendors/Merchants - Sell on Consignment

At some Merchant skill level, give the player the ability to maintain a Consignment List on one of their vendors. This way the merchant can add other players to (or remove from) a list which will enable them to place items into the vendor to be sold, with a portion of the selling price to be paid to the merchant, and the rest to the player who put it up for sale.

The merchant can determine who's allowed to place items. Also determines what percentage they receive on all consigned items. How many items a player can put up on consignment. What type of items etc...

As a non merchant I find the Bazaar terminals to be not too effective, and I have a LOT of stuff to sell.

i would like you to please consider my idea concerning the mission terminals:


please make the following things selectable (2 models given) - most possibly via a drop down menue:


a) mob + direction


b) payout + direction (so you could "control" over payout, and filter all missions wich are not in the desired range)


benefits:


  • reduces overall server lag

  • reduces mission terminal lag

  • reduces time for players to get the desired missions


why you would want to include it:


helps customer satisfaction - people are doing missions they want to do, leading to litteraly everyone clicking the terminal until he/she gets the desired mission - so the current system is neither helping the dev, nor the player side of SWG

How about being able to put your imperial, or reb rank as your title, instead of just profession mastering?

I have a real simple and easy idea to help PAs plan events for their PA. How about a PA name list just like your friends list. I would think this would be a simple thing to do and would help out a lot for PAs. Once you join the PA your PA contacts list fills up with the players name. with a click of a button being able to e-mail all or single player of the PA etc. it just becomes a pain when you join a formed PA and you got to sit there and add each player to your friends list as they talk in guild chat. Or you could make it part of the guild terminal in the PA guild hall like a list of members or and a planed event form page were PA members can discuse what they would like to do as a PA.

I agree with the post about mission terminals but would like to add something:

ATM we get missions according to weaps etc, i want this removed and list missions according to difficulty.
let the player choose the lvl he wants to go for, no more it being decided for us.
time and again I've done missions that are easy, boring, pay crap but are the max i can get seemingly, please let us choose our own lvls that way we get to decide

I'm having a problem here on the boards and don't know where else to address it.


We need to get rid of the star rating system. It's cool to give someone a 5 star or to let others know how you feel about a topic. But, it is also a griefing tool. Over the last few weeks, just about every last post I make gets hit by the "Naritus One Star Bandit" and to tell you the truth, I really don't care to post on the boards anymore. Which is a shame because I used to enjoy it so much.


Other possible fixes? Make it so you can see who has given you what rating and why! This would eliminate any "faceless griefing cowards" trolling the boards. This really does need to be addressed soon, it has gone on for far too long now.
