I would like to see something like this:


-single use shematics for special Items, build by crafters


-Money(flows to the crafters)


-Special Resources like Krayt Tissue


-For the hardest of all Quests:2-3 additional skillpoints


-Some future professions should be only learnable if you've absolved an quest.


-instead of good weapons or armors, good powerups(with much uses or evtl. perm) for existing weapons.


-rare drugs


-"Pets". For Example: after you haveabsolved an special Quest for the Ewoks, one of them will follow you forever.


-Crystals to change the colors of your weaponoutput.

There is no real end game for a combat character in PvE within SWG, now is there? Be honest it really doesn't exist apart from using missions to generate cash, whichis getting beyond a chore already. Please put your efforts into the GCW, that's where the end game really is.


If you're not going to add unique drops and any other form of advancement once you get to 0 skill points, which happens very quickly, then aside from fishing there's little else to do apart from GCW, and that's the way it will stay. So get cracking on making SWG have the best PvP system out there, and do it soon as there's a lot of new fluff coming out very soonto temptbored players away, maybe for good...

"What reward would motivate you to do a long, hard quest or dungeon?"


Fun stuff and/or decorations for homes like the Bantha Statuette or the Grunda painting. Cute things which do not hurt crafters. Also would be nice being able to complete the quest *and* keep the items (contrary to the two here mentioned items).

(i'll give a comment, i am not sure it is on topic. well just delete it if it is not).

In fact, the 1st reward in a Mmorpg should be the satisfaction of achieving a goal, and the FUN we had toward it.

For example : just the fact of killing a boss of a place should be rewarding (even without loot).

And for this we are, in general, too powerful. Btw, i was an Imperial, and i moved to rebel in order to keep a challenge. (btw i am talking PvE, not PvP).

What i suggest (but i dont know if it is still possible) :
- remove the faction pets (both sides), and lower the max level of the pets a Master Ch can have ;
- increase the general moving speed of creatures and npc ;

What will happen :
- the melee player will recover all its nobility, as the tanks will become necessary.
- more grouping situations. Absolutely everything in the game can be killed solo with pets atm.
- finally, more challenge

And now, we will have fun playing with other players in completing the goals SWG offers us. And this should be the 1st reward in a game.

ps: i repeat, i was talking considering PvE, not PvP.

There should DEFINATLEY be more additional components such as the krayt tissues or vibro motors. There should alsobe some limited use schematics dropped for new items - weapons, furniture, armour...


I also see no harm in ultra rare, uniqueweapon drops, weapons that have a limited use in the same way as the commando weapons. These could be either totally new weapons or 'uber sliced' weapons that break randomly...hence they are powerful but risky.

when I posted my reply I hadn't read through ALL the thread, but now that I have I can see that there are TONS upon TONS of very interesting and original suggestions made by players here.

I hope the devs are reading through all this and taking notes...

When the quests are fixed will we be given a chance to do them again?


I have just completed the Marauder quests to get the armor but because of the bug in the firstmission I didn't get the boots.

I have also completed the Rebel Theme park up to and including Han Solo's quests, but again didn't get any of the loot I was supposed to.

When the fix is done will I be able to redo the quests to get the items I should have got?

Hi there,


I would like to get a badge for accomplishing a theme park or series of NPC missions.


I would like to get stuff to decorate my house ... I LOVE those paintings (an example: The imperial villa The Shrub on Tatooine is a masterpiece of one of the designers). Rugs. Sculptures. Wonderful, but unwearable armor (Mandalorian ... why not ? Make it unwearable :-).


I would like to see wearables with a unique look ... it does not have to have great protective value, but the Palpatine Imperial Guard Uniform (the bright red ones) or stuff like that would be awesome !! Something not everyone has and no one can make and that you can show off.


I would like to see unique schematics. Again ... it does not have to be better than those already in existence. A unique type of weapon, DROID !!!!, a new kind of creature (via DNA sample), furniture ... that would be GREAT.


I would like to see UNBROKEN binoculars (would enhance terrain movement and decrease chance of creatures detecting you), UNBROKEN datapads (more storable waypoints), UNBROKEN viewscreens (shows all open containers in ONE window) etc etc etc.


SWG rocks !!! Its still buggy, but given time those will vanish !

The most fun thing in Asheron's Call was to loot ... You hunt in dangerous locations just to find really good items. Even if You risk loss of items, penalties ...


If there will be no loot, what should hunters like me do ? I mean I have a million credits, am MCH, MGF on 3 Different Servers already ... btu then what can I do with my skills ?


I do nto need money, I do not need a house ... instead I spend 9 (7-13 hours each) days to find one randwom spawning PC who will then be bugged and vanish as soon as I talk to him ... To make this even better there are more randwom spawning quests ...


Well this is really annoying ... I hate this part of SWG, also I hate not to even bother to look into the corpses of the slain enemies. Nothing worthwile can be found there ... instead I can run missions to get more money ... I can harvest even more creatures to sell the loot for ... erm more money ... I can do missions for crappy reward that I can destroy right afterwards ...



Suggestion:


The only point I see is that You increase loot ... add more variety of clothing and armor enhancers ... make the easy to fit into the slots of Your clothing ... make them droppeable by more creatures ... make corpses exciting to look at ... number the slots (Armor & Tailor & Weapons)... andthe enhancers ... e.g. Pistol Accuracy +3(Slot 3) ... 5% Weapon Speed (Slot 1) ... and let Master Artisans install them ... Or Novice Tailor, WS, AS and UP ...


Do not make these things crafteable ... just make them drop more frequently and in different strengths depending on critter ...


This way You will always have something too look for ... Always something to increase and to make You better ...

In my opinion loot should not necessarily be something that will be an advantage for the holder...no uber weapons, no better armor... Loot should be something that crafers cannot make and something that we will be proud to show-off in public and in our house... Some examples are unique furnitures, paintings etc and personal wearables like medalions, badges, some kind of clothing (a nice hat for example) etc


The whole point is to show that you have completed something difficult, kill someone important or just be lucky!! I swear that I would really prefer an impressive useless cosmetic than an uber weapon...
