This is actually a comment for the patch that occured on June 29th. I would have mentioned it sooner but I expected it was just an oversight, but it has yet to be addressed. The good thing that happened was that crafting tools now matched up with the Crafting stations and you could no longer use the Generic Crafting Tool to make every schematic you had. The bad thing is that when using the Weapon, Droid, and General Item Crafting Tool you can no longer experiment on the Generic Crafting Tools. Thus the result is now as an Artisan I can not make any Generic Crafting Tools with a positive rating. I know it may not affect my ability to craft that much, but considering the Initial Equip for artisans is a 0.00 crafting tool it seems odd that the best a master can assemble is a -12.34 tool.

As far as the new crafting quests go, I wish they would have been around when i started. I can see how they benefit younger players as they allow them to stay in one area and level up. I would like to suggest that the harder level crafting quests for the higher artisan related missions pay out more than a few credits. This could possibly be done by making Architect, Droid Engineer, etc. traveling missions similar to those delivery missions you receive from an Artisan Mission Terminal. I have done thousands of Artisan Delivery missions and the sad part is that the XP you gain is general and not in a specialized skill set. If you make 5 Blaster muzzles as a Weaponsmith, how bout delivering them to a Dealer in another city for a larger credit amount. This might make more veteran players take interest in the Quests if they are trying to master a new profession. Otherwise most players may stick to the practice mode and grind away, which isn't that much fun.

I have tried the Agrilat Swoop track and it is quite fun. But I have one question. The badge you get mentions holding the daily record for the track. Yet the fastest record is not reseting daily. What I'm saying is shouldn't there be an all time fastest record for each track that is kept and the fastest person on that day should receive the badge. Otherwise only a very few elite people will ever have the record for a day because the record will be so low that no one can beat it unless they have a great connection and race the track perfect.

Since this thread touches on the tracks I'd like to mention this about them:

Right 1st off I would like to point out that the race tracksare a brilliant idea. I race them regularly, hell, My Bio states my occupation as swoop jock!

However, they're severly flawed, only the first person to set the fastest time gets the badge and they get that first thing in the morning when the server comes back up, Rounded up/down 6-8 second increments make it unfair to all the other players, we need exact timings on the track. Also race times should be set according to class. If you don't own an AV-21 (not an easy thing to obtain for the majority) You'll never set the fastest time, With the possible exception of Keren city .

Now some of you may think there are more important things that may need sorting, and maybe your right, but please don't forget about the Swoop Racers

NB: Letting us run over NPC's would also be nice, y'know the mount bull bars on your Speeder and see how many Stormies/rebs/tuskens you can snap in two, but somehow I think that'll never happen

well, I am really new to this game playing a bit over one month now, so I would call myself a Newbie... and I really are more a roleplayer then a powergrinder.

I thought that the Racetracks really would be fun for me, as it gives me a possible thing I can do, not earning much money, trying to roleplay and all such, but "how"... should you ever win... when you are a "Newbie"!

The other(veteran) players race with there sportscars... I cant own an AV-something... and I want to do the raceon my Swoop, its called Swooptrack... I dont want to get laughed at by some players that see me coming on a Swoopbike... (thanx for that)

And why, please why arent people disqualified for leaving the track... Its callead a Race"Track" and not an Offroad show. that should not be so hard to implement... make it a track you have to stay on, and not shortcutting over hills and anything...

Just IMHO

I think the tracks can be improved by making them for vehicles all players have available... implementing a real keep on the track feature ... and as DWolf said, giving exact times. ( and please make the startsequence like a countdown: you say go, and the droids counts ten seconds down while you make yourself ready for the start, if you start early you are disqualified and have to start over...)

That all would make the tracks just possible for everyone to win and not for only the rich...

...
thanx for your time

The adhesives for the loot kits are not dropping. If I had the adhesives I've could have built all the items already but adhesives are still a no show.

I've gotta side with IpigPiachoep (dare you to pronounce that). The adhesives are dropping VERY rarely, and the prices are going through the roof. I'm currently a very active player (about 12-18 hours a day) and I'm watching the Planet and Auction channels. I've not seen a NEW adhesive for sale in several weeks (Corbantis). I like the concept of 1 rare item keeping the loot kits rare, but this is a bit of a stretch.
