Pathetic is the best word I can come up with. Its the "Same old Idea" routine thats getting old here. New content is still the same content, just a poly wall in a game with a different texture map added to it. Sure it looks different but its pretty much the same friggin wall, and thats what this so called 'new content' is.

So from what I can gather the same idiots who have introduced previous content into the game are the brain busters behind this new content and possibly future content. Its getting old and driving the players away from the game. Lets take a look at the pros and cons of the new content (Whatever)

Pros

Something new to do

New Armor (Elite only)

New Dungeon (Bunker same thing)

New POI

Something for large groups to do

New Loot (Or so they say)

Jetpack (Elite Only)

(Drawing a blank now)

CONS

Same old enemies

Re-using SBD's again (No imagination)

New Armor is only for certain elite professions

Same old dungeon content: kill this get key kill that get key.

Insane difficulty.

Forced group content only.

Camped area.

Its just like RIS armor all over again. How many people gave up on that crap?

Foolish Spawn rate

No imagination behind this content

Lag added to already stressed SWG system

SWG is like the matrix and everything they do is like a form of control

a. All content and enemies outside of a durni require players to have nearly all of the items listed below at all times to

participate in content

1. composite armor

2. buffs

3. brandy and foods

4. spices

b. By forcing players to utilize these items they are creating false content for crafters who provide such items.

New loot and items will be Holocrons all over again and will drive this "Farse" of an economy through the roof.

New content provides nothing to the new player or non-elite player other than:

a. A quick trip to the cloning center

b. Atleast a quick look at the new content before they die

c. Being a meat shield for a few minutes while the elite continue on.

Provides nothing what so ever to the solo player.

Conclusion

The quick and simple answer to why all the new content is structured nearly the same way is that its because the

devs are using the quick and lazy method. I say quick and lazy because as a programmer's view it pretty much is easier than

building a static or random quest that extends over a period of time and to track that data for each player. And to add items

that are rare in the game and to leave out (turn away) all other customers by using the same old dungeon routine of increased HAM Npc's and creatures and keys and then hide it behind a silly item requirement in the crafting process is just plain lazy. A quest is how it should be done. As we can see thats where the jedi profession is heading and that takes time involved development. But flooding this game with empty missions and content and hiding the fact that the game still contains lots of bugs is not the answer. Also adding content to the game based around one loot item (Crafted armor) that only a select few profession elites can use is pretty much ignorant. Well I have rambled on enough.

P.s. One more thing to add to the people who like to come in here and print in big bold fonts and call people crybabies for voicing their opinion on content because the developers asked for their opinion is also ignorant and childish.

Yes.

Droids with an heavy armor and more than 220K HAM... Even with 4 high combat guys spamming their best special moves, it takes an enormous amount of time to get rid of 1 single droid.

And when I look at all the droids, this will take an entire day to be completed!

Well, perhaps with a 20 members group, well organized, all masters, a lot of doctors and TKM, it could be done in a couple of hours...

But my first impression was "way too difficult ennemies".

Perhaps this is by design, and the team really wanted only high end players and groups to be able to participate in this new quest.

I have the impression the team has some difficulties adjusting the difficulty and power of NPCs...

Okay it's like this. 20 of the most kick butt solo artist ppl ingame with docs got together and hit this bunker. Everyone in group is well known for making quick work of a Krayt, and we got our butts handed to us. Tell me devs, who do you expect to do this?? If even your "uber" type players get slapped down imediately, what chance does anyone else have.

It reminds me of defense stacking. You guys banned dozens of people for stacking because you thought they were hacking or working exploits, but it all turned out to be defense stacking WHICH YOU RECOMMENDED IN THE BEGINING!

This bunker is a ton of fun. Lord knows I like blowing a 800k set of armor in less then 2 hours. You're out of touch devs, and you just lost my subscription.

I'm not even going to try this bunker, don't get me wrong, I would love too, but as a Crafter/Pistoleer I get toasted in the genosian dungeon fairly quickly. I'm with many of the others, it'd be nice if there were dungeons accessible to lower level groups, it is possible to make them difficult by adding some strategy to progression through the dungeon and to the combat (I assume this will come with the balance). From what I understand this dungeon is rough for multiple large groups of elite proffesions, because of the high resists, high HAM, and high respawn rate.

Anyways, in a future dungeon it'd be nice if there were some more RPG elements, at this point its very hack and slash. Some of the elements I've heard about in the death watch bunker sound great, but we need more of those elements and less insanely powerful NPCs. Some examples of RPG elements would be: having an entertainer to talk their way through a conversation tree (possibly slight variation to avoid redundency) and then preform to distract a room full of NPC's so that their group members could slide past; having a droid engineer maipulate a droid control terminal to distract or lower the abilities of droids in a given area; having a smuggler slice security terminals to get droids to ignore them and doors to open, or stay closed if the rooms full of enemies(I believe the doors in some places can be sliced by smugglers); Enable rangers to sneak past NPC's and helpothers sneak past. I'm sure theres other stuff that is possible. I understand that there are programming concerns and what not and that this is very difficult task. Personally I wouldn't mind waiting 2 months for a dungeon with heavy RPG elements.

Are you brave enough to find out what these heinous villains are up to? Work your way through this new adventure zone with over 6 Action packed new quests and unique new crafting missions to find out what has brought these ancient warriors out of hiding!

Have you made it out to the bunker yet?

YES!

What were your experiences?

Made it to the 3rd room, when some noob came running at my group with about 20-30 super battle droids chasing him...needless to say that ended out venture. Damn noobs.

What is your opinion of this new adventure zone?

I think its great, but i believe it is too hard, all in all to make the mandalorian you need 40 loot drops? Id rather open another fs slot by doing all 32 professions then sit there for hours trying to loot 40 components for the set of armor.

Why is so much development time and resources being tied up in creating content that is unusable by 90% of the playerbase? First was the Geo caves, could be done with a small group that played smart and worked together. Next came the Corvette, could be completed solo if you were careful and didnt try to fight anything. Large groups just die repeatedly since the fixes were made. Now we have the DeathWatch Bunker, This place is insane it would probably take a group of 60 people to think about completing this place. Its great that it is hard but on the other hand it needs to be actually playable.

What i would like to see as a friday feature is a workup of how many people go to these places on a weekly basis. Of that number how many actually complete the mission? Im sure what we would find is the the first month the nombers are high for peple that start the dungeon, then after that month the numbers roll off dramatically.

Nobody that i know in game has the slightest interest in going back to the corvette again. Im sure in a month it will be the same way with the DWB. Great now that we have all of this "high level" content, can we get some development time to create some content that is actually playable by the rest of us?

Come on devs dont be shy I for one would really like to see some justification on why we are seeing this trend in new content.

Devs,

Okay - now that you've pleased 5% of the player base over the last 2-3 months by turning the game into EQ, could you please start directing your attention to the remaining 95%?

As an armorsmith, I would really like perhaps one good suit of armor as an alternative to making composite95% ofthe time. Just one suit please. Something that -everybody- can use. Something that doesn't require looted/tailor experimentedcomponents or weird stuff such as Endorian wood (Wookie = overgrown Ewok?). If that's too much to ask, how about giving me the ability to make faction armor? The models are already there for heaven's sake. Is that too much to ask for? One new suit of armor to put a damper on the composite clone wars? Or allowing me to make faction armor with stats worth using?

C'mon - I feel like this game has lost focus after the player cities and vehicles went live. Candles, up/down move furniture and wookie armor has been my highlights for many many months now. Woah... maybe it's time to stack elite combat templates and forget crafting. When nobody wants to craft anymore, nobody will complain when you switch to an all loot based economy. Of course... all these people will be gone when EQ2 hits the shelves hehe... I thought competing with your own products was a bad idea

Ok i got spanked at the DWB im a master marksman and scout and i whooped up on the Black Sun then the battle droids came. That is a HUGE jump in difficulty and then u had the Trade Federation droid things those were hard. How are they hard? I mean their wires are showing i could see how about 10 of them would be hare but no 1. Those are my thoughts and they should be yours too.

Well. Cant say I've made any great progress in "doing" the DWB. It's something that I'll probably do with a group of friends or guildies once or twice soon and then in the future rarely if ever again.

The reward for the insane difficulty, missions and cost in terms of time / organisation / equipment is absurd.

My biggest grudge (picking up from dungeons since the geo labs) as a doctor I feel like im half useful in these caves. Why cant we heal, cure or buff. It's not balance or difficulty. These things will kill you unbuffed almost instantly. There's a lot of dying as it - so why are our skills closed out? Why cant we call pets or make camp? Why arent there areas you can heal or camp? (we've got to have droids or be in a camp for medical facilities and I was expecting the "medical lab" onboard the corvette to allow buffing) i'd be happy if they were at maximum 60% effectiviness but I feel like a glorified medic once inside.

Have you made it out to the bunker yet?

Yes went twice first time died second was there until 3 hour buffs wore off

What was your experience like?

The place looks cool and i would love to explore it, however after spending over 20 minutes on one enemy i was so bored i ordered dinner and was watching TV. You need to be a rifleman and anything that does elec to get anywhere. Im afraid this will be like the corvette and geo cave went there got the T-shirt and will never be back. Even with a group of twenty i was unable to get any sort of looting rights.

On the plus side the grahpics look nice I would love to explore the whole thing and be able to make a rebreather.

What is your opinion of this new adventure zone?

It could have been really intresting, like the corvette could have been, instead its a free for all race against time.
