Hey TH,
When are Bio-Engineers going to get some (Shoulda been in with the rest of the crafting professions) lovin'?
1) No BE Experimentation/Assembly Clothing/Armor attachments.
2) No BE Crafting Apron.
3) No Loot drop schematics.
4) No word on what pets are worth crafting because of invalidity.
5) No DEV posts on the BE profession boards in 10x times longer then any other profession boards.
I don't mean to complain because we did get a good revamp a few publishes back but like one BE on the BE Profession board put it, it seems like "We're the ugly red headed step child of SWG". We never get any of the goodies that the other crafting professions get. I can't believe we didn't get a crafting apron, not like it would be worth anything at +5/+5 because we don't have skill tapes.
TH, I dare you to give a responce to this other then, "Ok, I read it, I'll see what I can do."
"Ok, I read it, I'll see what I can do." heh.
We'll be starting to create a new top issues report soon. Be sure to get involved and get it on the list if its a top BE issue. I'll also put together something to show the progress on the previous lists shortly after.
Plus a couple more answers:
- With regards to the specifics on the Republic Blaster differences and why some don't have a certification penalty, there is an early generation of Republic Blasters that were created without certification info on them. Any of those pistols will still be usable by anyone without any penalty. All new Republic Blasters should have the correct certification data on them and require the player to have Novice Pistoleer in order to use it without penalty.
- Someone asked me, "did we nerf the Nightsister's?" The answer is no. We had some side effects to the AI in Publish 7 that will be fixed in Publish 8.
Correction, the nutritious food is now in your clone's stomach.

First off: Thanks to whomever deleted my post.
Secondly: Why was my post asking why you skirted all the Mayor and City issues deleted?
Thirdly: I'm still sending our cities bill to you when we lose our city due to programming implemented that punishes active players and takes away their citizenship.
I am among the group that do not like the travel pathing restrictions being removed. To pull a card and use the overused real world examples, real transportation systems do not cater to the traveller. Instead, they cater to the route that will result in the largest number of passengers. Airlines, trains, busses, etc. all follow this model (granted, some more than others.)
Should these restrictions be removed, I suspect something along the following chain of effects will happen:
- The common hubs will become less and less used (Coronet, Theed, etc.).
- As a result of this, the AFK spammers will lose the marketplace they currently occupy and one or two things will happen:
- They will harass people at the destination locations instead which will result in a large annoyance (at least we have the ignore function though).
- They will instead set up vendors throughout the world and it will end up even fuller of empty vendors than it already is.
- The planetary population will disperse more and it will become increasingly difficult to find a service you want without more travelling.
- As a result of this, the AFK spammers will lose the marketplace they currently occupy and one or two things will happen:
- It will become significantly cheaper to travel, thus reducing one of the only money sinks in the game. This will exacerbate the current trend of inflation.
Instead, my suggestion is to preserve the current pathing restrictions while placing in a significantly higher priced ticket for direct connects. Maybe 10x the ticket price. These direct connects would also have a shorter wait time. The benefits to this are substantial:
- It would preserve the market for a player taxi service once the SE is released provided that the functionality for multi-passenger ships is implemented.
- Bounty hunting would still have this challenge. Here, I'm thinking more of player bounties, not NPC.
- On the off chance true smuggling is implemented, it provides more options for the smuggler.
- Some would pay the higher ticket prices and a new money sink would be in place.
- More realistic travel system. Think charter flights.
- The market places are preserved and the detrimental effects I outlined above will probably not happen.

TH, the community will likely be very offended if we are asked for another 'top issues report' before the current 'top issues reports' have been addressed or even commented on...
don't get me wrong... I'm don't mean to gripe at you to get the 'Top Ten Questions' answered... you already said you are working on them... but I really don't get the point in creating another report when the reports we gave you guys 2? months ago are still current
maybe I have misinterprted what you have written, but if I have interpreted it correctly, you are saying that you will (paraphrased)
"ask the correspondents to create a new top issues report soon"
"address the initial top issues reports (the ones you have now) after you have asked for a new report"
you will recieve the same reports(the oneswe gave you 2 months ago) from everyone
please do not ask the community for another list of problems when the first list we slaved and sweated over to create still hasn't been answered
thanks for your time

Ditto. It doesn't make any sense why you'd ask for something you already have.

Any word about a fix for those of us stuck at various points in the Krayt Skull Quest? Maybe a quest reset NPC, like is available for the themeparks?
Ditto. Thunder, you posted on this a few weeks ago something like "I just did it, it works great!", but I think you are missing the point. If you started the quest during the broken period (I think between pubs 4-5, 5-6?) you are now stuck between Thale Dustrunner and Borvo's missions. Thale thinks you have finished his missions (you have), Borvo won't speak to you, and Borvo's henchmen tell you to go do Thale's missions. This has been posted and re-posted and re-posted and re-posted. I've submitted CSR tickets, and even PM'd Blair, to no avail.
Help us Thunder-wan-kenobi, you're our only hope...
1) At 1 health/action/mind due to wounding (and yes this DOES happen legitamately - I was killing my friend over and over so she could help someone with entertainer healing xp. Could also happen in PvP)
2) Stat migration takes place from the pool with 1 in it.
3) you are not incapacitated permanently at 0/0
To make matters worse - you cannot search the knowledgebase while incapacitated, so you cannot even make a ticket asking for help. The only way to get help is to either have someone else submit a ticket or have someone else come cure your wounds.

Are you still going through with the combat changes for publish 8? I was looking forward to the Mind change and it's too late to turn back now because classes have been broke/over powered since you started patching the different pieces of the revamp these past few months. So you can either role back the pre nerfs that were going to make sense in the end or patch in the changes you had as a Friday feature 2 weeks ago.
oops sorry about that last post.......amen to that brother, fix or rollback
