by the way, i personally think that once a saddle is equipped to a mount, it won't be taken off. and once the saddle is equipped, the mount can't be used for fighting. and since it won't be used for fighting, non ch should be able to use it like a normal item. that's what i think anyway.

I'm looking forward to having mounts. I really don't care what they FIRST make available. Its a first release. They want to try these 3 models out before they release more. I'm sure there are design considerations with the way they are approaching the release of mounts. I know my 6 hours of walking a night around the map being cut down by a 20 to 50% will be a nice bonus. I hope they allow surveying from mounts. This will be sweet.

Anyone whining about some creature not being release is just being a spoiled baby. If they quit over this, We won't miss them. Give people a chance to do their jobs. This is a much better game with much more potential than EQ will or ever has. Chill out. Relax. Have fun.

Droid Mounts are in now, cool! Oh wait, this is another CH update. DE's are still getting the shaft.

I must say i am very excited about these mounts, even if they left out the one i wonted the most the bantha but hey there going to work on adding it soon after so what more can you ask for. Just have a couple of questions, frist off can you use the different kinds of the same creatures (for example the giant carrion spat). Second are you planing on useing some of the cats in the future like the grand wrix or cowardly gurrack im sure you would make alot of people happy if you did Well keep up the good work!

I just want to be able to Ride a Rancor...or Huf Dun or some of the other big creatures....

heck maybe...on the big dinosaur creatures...maybe mutliple people could ride them.....
One would be the one controlling the movement and the others would just be on it for a ride.

That would be one sweet feature....

I for one am glad to see that mounts are finally making it out of the stables as I have run the bottoms off of my boots,sandals way too many times. Thanks Q for restoring some of the faith I have lost in this balanced fun and stable game. Keep up the work migo.

Well slap my face and call mechewbaca creature mounts are a coming WOOHOO! For all you people whining about banthas and non CH mounts i say tough cheese

If i remember rightly only CHs can have creature mounts but the rest of you guys can have cool swoop bikes and speeders (Id trade my kryat flamethrower for a speeder with a flame job down the side). I think also they may add an elite elite profession to build the bikes and such. If they slap in an auto nav comp (Set where you wanna go and you let the car/bike do the driving....Ahh that would be bliss for my poor fingers) combine elements from armoursmith, weaponsmith and droidsmith now that would be cool...Then again there is always the probs we have now....Hmm kind of a toss up there...good game or creature mounts....That one is gonna be tough

Actually...I have been thinging about it....They won't need to create a new profession for vehicles.

Droid Engineer: Mechanical part of the vehicle and the vehicle itself

Weapon Smith (Optional) Onboard weapony

Armorsmith (optional) Adding armor to the vehicle

BUT they should not allow everyone to be able to drive one.

You should have to spend some skill points to learn how to drive. No more then 1 or 2.

I have no idea if this will mean anything for mounts or not. Allot of people are making assumptions on how mounts are going to work, but the info is just not out there yet. All these critters are BE craftable, so perhaps wild critters will not be mountable at all. Who knows. This is what I do know: I have not been able to find a Bol baby and I have hit many liars looking. Dewback babies are easy to come by.

I do seem to recall a dev saying somewhere that you can attack on a mount but can not use specials when mounted. Mounts will run at the speed of burst speed. I cant seem to dig up this info, but I am certain I read it somewhere a while ago, lol.

Until the devs gives us an official post on how this works we can only guess how mounts are going to work..until then, its just a guess. For those of you posting "this is the way it is going to work", well please reveal your sorce for knowing so certainly how its working or if its something you just think you recall, state it so.
