For real Devs...come on. We have been waiting on a response for our feedback that the jedi revamp is a failure and that it is still a grind. Quests should NOT be a 3 week wait either. Grinding is FAR from being fun. My last day with the game is November 1, 2004. It sucks that I have to cancel since there is no way to progress past master fencer/CH/brawler. I have enjoyed this game since last July, but after the three content story badges, there is nothing fun anymore. PLEASE fix these issues so we can actually PLAY a fun game.

I disagree with your comments, becoming a Jedi should take time. I don't care how they do it, be it gating 3 week rotation or whatever. If they thwart would be Jedis who do not want to do the system because it takes too much time and grinding, GOOD!
I have been playing everyday since July 1, 2003. I think that it has already taken WAY too much time. Also, there needs to be progression. Therefore, your statement makes no sense.

I'm sorry I don't understand, where in the new system is there lack of progression? How do you account all the time it took the pre-pub 10 unlockers their time spent grinding out professions for Jedi? It is not probable to give away Jedi ina matter of days. I'm sorry my statement didn't make sense to you but it sure as hell makes a lot sense to me. I've been playing since June 2003 and I fully support the amount of time it takes to become Jedi. As a matter of fact I believe it should take even longer.

Oh well Terkino, if you don't think people should be able to get Jedi in about a year, then what shall we do? Non-existent content makes the game dull and boring. There is nothing to do after you use all your skill points except grind. That maybe acceptable to you, but not many others. Not a big deal anyway, already cancelled as many of others have as well and will continue until things change. Presently, we have nothing else to do.

If you feel there is nothing to do, such as take up another profession, roleplay, run a player event, attempt to beat down the DWB and obtain the Mandalorian armor then perhaps there is nothing left for you in this game. After a year of playing with two accounts I still have so much to do it's I don't feel the same as you. Hey, that's life I'm not going to argue your interest in this game and I suggest you would do the same with me. I merely feel that Jedi should be extremely difficult to obtain, so difficult in fact that it thwarts many would be Jedi to keep the population low. My comments are not statements, they are merely my opinion.
...I have already role-played, done all the professions over several servers, done PVP, got the Mandalorian armor. You can't restrict people from getting beyond level 50 in other games for example. So, how can you prevent use from progressing further in this one? I am sorry, but I think if you took an actual vote/poll, you would find out that the majority agree with me on this one.

You don't really have much left to do, sorry to hear that you have lost interest in the game. If you decided to take a poll based off of what I've said I feel that you would find that no one really cares if I'm having the time of my life with this game.
Hi Tiggs,
Could you suggest that the master experience caps all be raised by a factor of at least 5? At master rifle cap is 900k yielding just 30k force exp. I would like to just play swg without being forced to return to the village daily or every other day or lose force experience because of the low cap.

Player, you are missing the important fact that a very large percentage of the players WANT to be Jedi (not all, but most). Therefore they are all going to be "grinding" to get to that. What does this do for the game? It hurts it in my opinion. If we all agree'd before that the hologrind ruined the game (and I think most everyone agrees), then what good is a system (the current one we have) that is about 10x worse in grinding? It borks the game so badly that most people will be doing non-stop grinding to obtain Jedi... thus, keeping them away from doing other things (like discovering how broken and boring this game has become). And maybe that is the goal here? Combat - broken, GCW - broken, content - boring... so let's add a new LONGER grind than what we had in place before. Right? I think not. SWG should not equal STAR WARS GRIND... it should be about GALAXIES and the GCW, but it isn't. This game is nothing more than a grind and I'm very disappointed in how this game has turned out. I wanted so much from this game, but unfortunately... it isn't there.
Picture this... you think this system is so great... - What if - 90% of the player base wanted to become Jedi. Out of those 90%, half of them figure out that... TKM can fight unlimited/non-stop missions on Dantooine with a 15k (or under) buff and never have to use armor or a weapon to do it. They do this for 3 weeks at a time grinding non-stop missions without any decay to anything and no chance of being hurt. What this amounts to is a TON of funds built up (27k per mission), no money going to any crafters and a very small amount going to doctors every 3 or so hours. HOW IS THIS GOOD FOR THE GAME??????????????????
I've said it before and I'll say it again... GRINDING is not fun. TIME SINKS are not fun! The sooner the Devs realize this the sooner this game can hopefully recover and take off. Until then... I'm afraid this game will only get worse and worse. I know I've just about given up on it... which really saddens me, as I really, really love the Star Wars universe... but SOE has dropped the ball already and I'm not sure there is hope of recovery.

I don't think grinding hurts the game nearly as much as KOTOR online. This is Star Wars Galaxies that is to be set in the timeline directly after the destruction of the First Death Star. I'm die hard and I prefer continuity. If I were in charge of the game (luckily for everyone aspiring for Jedi I'm not) I'd have thrown out the entire idea while laying the groundwork. That aside, I'm fine with Jedi, its a part of the game and I can deal with it. I cannot agree with the mentality that Jedi should be attainable in a week, I understand your frustration with time sinks but when it comes to MMO's that is what they are all about. Guild Wars in exceptionYou don't have to agree with me that's fine and I suggest you continue your protest for lower experience grinds but I'm confident the Developers will keep the standards the same for the good on the non-Jedi players, such as myself.
To all protesters of JtL and the delay of the combat revamp: it was not JtL that delayed the ground/profession balance it was the Jedis. One star me, I'm out of this thread
