I was floored by what you guys had planned.
I thought you were just changing the way you become a Jedi
but with all the cool stuff you're adding it's simply amazing.

Jedi are also not forced into PvP until they have completed the Jedi Knight trials. Before then they have the same PvP options as every other player. They can be Imperial or Rebel, Overt or Covert. Upon completing the Dark Jedi Knight trials they will be required to be Overt Imperial and upon completing the Light Jedi Knight trials they will be required to be Overt Rebel.
Will player Bounty Hunter Missions still happen? Yes a player will start generating visibility as they use the Force at the Padawan level.
I'm confused. That sounds like "forced PVP" before completing Jedi Knight Trials...
Exactly how are the current "chain death exploit" griefing methods going to be resolved? Taurin told me it was going to be fixed. Also, if a Jedi dies, no matter what kills him, are you finally going to make itfail and remove all BH missions against him, unless a BH does the deathblow?
A Jedi death is a Jedi death, I highly doubtany sane Jedi playeris going to just die, and lose XP, to cancelbounties on them anddeny the BHs from gaining anything on purpose. That simple fix would cure a lot of the griefing methods for Jedi and future Smuggler bounties. I guess Smugglers could get by with no consequence with it to avoid bounties, but it'd cost a Jedi enough consequence to not die on purpose.
Could you explain how the second slot works?
Players must complete the Force Sensitive Quests (Publish 10) to unlock the extra slot if they have not done so already. Any and all players who put in the effort to complete the quests can gain the second slot and if a player has a second slot already, that slot will not be affected. Players may choose to develop one or both of their character as Jedi.
I'm an existing Jedi. I don't really like the race I chose for my main, it's a Rodian. I'd prefer a Human. (hey, tastes change in 10 months)
After Publish 10, what would happen if I deletedthat slotand rerolled? What would happen if I deleted character in either slot and rerolled, and which Publish would affect your intended results?
Once I've gained my second character slot, both character slots are immediately eligible to gain force sensitive skills and become Jedi?
No. The new character slot will be a standard character. You can choose to go through the Force Sensitive quests again to allow that character to advance their Force abilities, but the entire quest line will need to be repeated with all the normal restraints.
Existing Jedi will login and find themselves credited Jedi skill credits based on how far they are in their current skill trees.
Existing Jedi... so exactly which slot would we be getting these Jedi skill credits on? What happens to the character on either slot?
Pearls will convert automatically the moment you login. Each pearl will become a new "un-tuned" pearl with a quality set based on the existing stats of the pearl.
Wow. Most of this makes sense!
The only problem is the massive number of force-sensitive people in the SW universe now.
Oh well, let's see how it pans out.
make everyone happy (I guess). When you create the new character you get the choice
to have it created with the Force Sensitive Quest completed and start your journey
to become a Jedi at once, doing so will remove it from your main character and if you
later on want to become a jedi on that slot as well you have to repeat the quest.
If its possible from a technical point of view I think this would be the best way.
the freedom to not have to give up your main and redo it on the second slot or worse start
all over again with the quests to become force sensitive.

Okay I don't feel like quoting the whole thing regarding about what happens when you unlock the 2nd character slot (SINCE HTML IS DISABLED FOR ME, I wish you would stop posting in HTML TH).Either enable HTML or stop posting in HTML please =b. However take Ratdeath's comment into consideration:

Ofcourse this can only be done if you havent started the Jedi training.
Still have to do it two times if you want both characters to become jedi's but you have
the freedom to not have to give up your main and redo it on the second slot or worse start
all over again with the quests to become force sensitive.
Will these "Force enhancements" or "Force sensitivity skills" require skill points to be spent on them? Or will they merely be extra skills given to characters for the completion of portions of the Force sensitivity quests, with no extra skill point cost. That has not been made clear.
I cannot believe some of you are whinning about this new system (before you've even experienced the whole thing). You get quest oriented advancement. You get advancement based on PvP. You get a cool ranking system and a social setting where you can interact with members of the Jedi Order. BHs would kill for this kind of profession content.
Would you rather have it the way it was? Killing kitty cats on Endor, semi-AFK for a slow and boring XP grind? The new system sounds challenging and rewarding. Don't judge it until you have seen the whole thing working.
In my eyes the only thing left to address if saber damage type.
