Thread: Weekly Rountdable Discussion (Week ending 1-10-04)
1. Move up/down command for us one story house people.
2.More specific info on upcomming changes to Prof., Weapons, and HAM's. I really don't want to have to completely re-do my toon. A little heads up would be nice, so we can start changing what we might need/want to.
What's up with the server on Starsider? I keep losing items on and off in a house near Doaba Guerfel in Corellia. I placea fewitems in a backpack Thursday night. A few minutes later it was gone. I logged in Friday morning right after server restart. It magically appeared in the backpack. When I came back from work later that day, it was gone again. Re-entering the house, relogging and restarting the game doesn't fix the problem.I'm starting to think my house is haunted.
P/s: I don't have any problems with vehicle auto-storing anymore, even when doing harvester runs. Whatever you guys did, thanks ![]()
Imperial Hat is my number one priority because I just want to see if you guys can fix something relatively simple before I even contemplate the myriad of other problems.
Problems I would like fixed after the hat (in no particular order...except DE fix it soon please...after the hat that is):
DE, DE, Droid Engineer...you know, those metal semi-sentient things that the movies are littered with?
BH - I would like to actually have faster droids when my skill level rises and it says that I now have faster droids.
Pikeman - I don't know many of them, so I don't exactly know the problems...Maybe there is a reason I don't know many of them.
Milk - The Dairy Council might sue you like the beef industry sued Oprah if you don't make this at least semi-common. ![]()
GCW - You guys say you're going to fix this, and when you do I'll take it off my list of problems.
Moving objects along the Y-Axis - I would like to feel like some things go up, while others go down...Some things sit on tables, some things hang from the ceiling.
Content - I would like more of this...even if it's more useless paintings...which would be even more useful in their uselessness (hehe) if you could move them up and down in the house.
Quests - I want one that I could call "fascinating" with a straight face. Huff/Borvo comes close to interesting.
Tailor Decay - There is absolutely no reason to buy the same exact blue shirt from a tailor more than once...But you have to buy new armor and weapons occasionally? Is fiberplast as tough as diamond?
Armor Holes/Armor in general - A lot of naughty armorsmiths aren't telling their clientele that the armor hole is back...So fix it. Oh, and make it so that getting Composite isn't the penultimate without any real reason to get any other of the vast library (five, six if you count RIS) of armor types.
PSG / Armorshifting - Make these things work so Wookies can use the PSG reliably...Oh, and make the armor retain it's stats.
I'm sure there's more...but I figure this list will take you at least a good seven months to even consider.
1. Loot Pass.
2. Loot Drop Rate Changes (one in three npc's looted drop an item - doesn't have to be a great item, but would add to realism - killing ten Swooper Leaders and getting less for your effort than killing ten standard jawas shouldn'tstill be happening)
3. Loot Scaling (fighting Nighsisters should yeald better, more valuable rewards than fighting those ever present (ever vulnerable) jawas.
4. Loot....just loot. Give people a reason to fight npcs, other than for xp. Fighting creatures yealds resources, armour plates, etc that can be sold and havevalue. Currently fighting npcs is pointless. Why would I risk damaging my composite armour, degrading my T21, suffer wounding and incappacitation, insurance, cloning and ticket costs to a dangerous, far away POI?
For xp?
Easier ways to get it.
For fun?
Clearing out a Nightsister Cave is fun, but it's equally hard work.I could have fun socializing with friends in a cantina - if we head off to a dangerous place to have fun, we need an incentive to do so ![]()
That's all.
P.S. Ability to put a desk top lamp on a dek top. Hope this doesn't come across as too critical, I do love the game ![]()
Give PVE back to faction pets or make having them out scare away the creatures so our pets do not stand there and watch us die. This ruins the realism more than using atsts to fram krayts.
You could also give them back the way they were and allow certain large animals (krayts)to tailwhip them or something to one shot kiil; them to prevent farming but allow for defense of their masters.
Also let faction rank mean something. I worked hard for my faction rank too just like the CH worked for his skills. Why can't I call more than one faction pet at colonel?
Oh yeah, and a Hover rickshaw for a new vehicle would be a stylish (yet slow) way to get around town.
They had one in episode 2 that Anikin and Padme rode to watto's shop in. It was a hover rickshaw pulled by a small droid. I would like mine pulled by a Jawa, but a droid would be fine. ![]()
OMG...I hope you guys have hired a special team of people to read through all of these post.
As a non-typer I would love it if they would change the personal tells so that when I cntr-r , I reply to the person who has currently sent me a tell and not the person who undercuts me as I am typing a reply to the intended person. No offense intended, but the way it works in EQ. Some players have names like Er*-laKr'kkl...heh, theres no way Im gonna /tell and try and type that out.

TH i would like to say that this is one of the best threads on the boards about the game atm:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=game_guides&message.id=100649
it has some great ideas for small easy (i would think) things to add like data disc's we could write on there could be a lot of content added to the game if some small little things like this were added
