Can you please have somone fix the chat text from resetting itself to the smallest size, I can't read it.![]()
Oh also can you fix the jumping issuie:
I wasin my house to day moving furniture around. but I had to go afk so I sat on my bed. when I came backI was sitting in the air in my living room.![]()
Some crafting issues:
1) Any schematic requiring a "specialized tool" can be made with a weapon, droid, and general item tool. If the schematic requires a specialized tool and a crafting station, you can get by with a WD&GI tool next to a WD&GI station. This makes the Food/Chem, Clothing/Armor and Structural tools kind of pointless.
2) Power is still dropping faster than it's supposed to in the status window of harvesters and factories. After depositing 4 days worth of power, after 48 hours the "power reserves" show 0, although the harvester continues to extract resources. After another 48 hours (showing zero power the whole time), the harvester finally shuts down. Depositing power while the reserves show as zero treats the reserves as negative, so if you put in 3 days worth of power after it ran for 1 day at 0, the reserves now show 2 days worth remaining (the status window thinks you had -1 days worth in the reserves). Redeeding the harvester while the power display is in this invalid state locks in the bad power remaining on the deed, meaning the miner lost power units.
This can be worked around by stopping/starting the harvester, which refreshes the display. But I think some rounding problems are creeping in that causes the reserves to still be lower than where they're supposed to be.
3) Crafting some items in "practice" mode with multiple tools leads to a situation where the crafting session of tool#2 ends when tool#1 finishes it's "countdown". If you have already selected the resources in tool#2, they are used up but no xp is earned. Crafting tools are the most common (maybe only) culprit, and since those are popular grind items many new artisans are running into this issue.
Forums problem:
when i do any form of post search, the results are allways listed from oldest to newest, with a max of 100 per page. when i resort them to newest first (cause post made in july have zero bearing on the game now) the find list gets truncated to 300, and cuts off about august or septemberish in the post date.
please reset forum searches to sort newest first by default.
I believe it can now be said that the WARNING Emails for structures that are decaying are not working properly in all situations. I would like to know that you are looking into this issue.
While the warning emails are not supposed to be the make or break point, with so much going on in the game it is possible to miss maintenance on a structure you're concerned about.
That being said these warning emails should also be expanded to be sent to any member on the administrative list for that structure so that incase one player is not receiving them for whatever reason is causing this bug - there is comfort in knowing other players will also be able to help.
Thanks in advance,

HI, I am a smuggler and I just wanted to post saying I would like to be able to smuggle
something
anything
I just want to be a smuggler like my profession says I am, but there is nothing for smugglers to smuggle
- BH Droid Speed
- Seekers Dont work
- MBH is USELESS!!!!! MOVE JEDI MISSIONS AND PC BOUNTIES (when they exist) TO MBH!!!!
- pretty please

Hehe, maybe this could be called the Jedi and Bounty Hunter Thread and all the other stuff on here should be moved to the Weekly Roundtable Discussion thread.
I think if jedis understood how bounty hunters' droids work, they'd be a lot less likely to not recommend that they never work.
On our NPC mission, we first send out a droid which tells us what planet our mark is on at the time that it communicates back to us. It can take 8 minutes or so to get that update. One reason for that is because as we gain skill boxes with modifiers that are supposed to improve our droid speed, their speeds slow down.
When we get to the planet we were told our mark is on, we send out a seeker droid. At Investigation 3, these droids often give us two or three waypoints where the mark was located at particular points in time before loosing track of the target. Sometimes they will only give us one waypoint and then loose track.
Our NPC marks' behavior is predictable most of the time. Which means the npc mark's programed artificial intelligence is predictable.
Theygenerally move in a straight line toward a starport on the planet. Once we get within about 150m of them, our marks will stop moving. We know they have stopped if the same waypoint gets reported multiple times. Even so, they can be difficult to locate because they can be as much as 200m in any direction from the last waypoint given.
If they get to a starport, they will just hang out there for a while. But if we don't get there in time, they can hop to a different planet, and then we have to start the whole thing over again. That has happened to me twice.
Occasionally our npc marks will switch directions, which makes the missions much harder and time consuming.
I used to complain when a regular destroy mission waypoint moves 300m. That was until I started doing bounty hunter missions where are waypoints generally move 9000m, and then can end up on the other side of the galaxy. I'm not complaining at all. That's part of what makes the missions fun. ![]()
Player marks are a completely different story.
Unlike npcs, players can be far from predictable.
I could send out an Arakyd probe droid to find out what planet my player mark is on. However, right now, my droid would tell me that a player is offline, even if we know they are on. This should be fixed.
If our droids worked, I'd send out a droid and it would tell me in about 8 minutes what planet a player was on at that point in time. However, the player could hop on a shuttle a minute later and end up on the other side of the galaxy. I'd get to the planet, send out a seeker, and get a report back in a few minutes saying "your target cannot be found on this planet." Then I'd have to send out an arakyd and wait 8 minutes to find out where the mark is.But the mark could go to yet another planet. Rinse, repeat.
Even if a player stays on the same planet, my seeker could tell me where they were at a particular point in time, and then they could hop on a swoop* and end up 3000m away in minutes, veer 90 degrees, veer 45 degrees, and then hop on a shuttle to take them to the other side of the planet. And then they could hop on the next shuttle from Kor Vella to Mos Espa.
If a jedi does something they think could give them a TEF and get them on a bounty hunter mission terminal, and then just stand still in front of the Theed starport for an hour, it's not my fault if I find you. ![]()
* If there's anybody who should be advocating that the requirement to set up a camp in order to get out a vehicle or mount out of their datapad while out in the middle of nowhere, its jedis. They can't be Scouts.
BH droids are #1 on my list.
#2 would be that MY AT-ST cant attack reb's with TEF. The problem is that rebs raid now with one overt and everyone else covert (in a group), I get the tef for killing him and they can attack me and my at-st does nothing.
#3 stacking defenses. everyone has gone tkm/fencer now (or something similar) and they are almost un touchable. As a master bh I have about as much defenses as a dancer and not enough skillpoints to get the defenses I need to come close to them. Either lower the skillpoints needed to be a MBH (by at least 20) or do something about defense stacking.

AMEN TO THIS !!!
Nothing like scanning over 20 pages of stuff-that's-been-fixed in July !!
It'd probably save a TON of posts, if using the SEARCH feature was more fruitful !
(And what's the deal with not being able to edit one's own post? )
