How can this game have BH rocket packs when there is no Z axis?? (..or is it we have an x axis and az axis... but no Y?.. I am not sure.) ...all i know is.. We are LOCKED on the ground. We only go "up" if the terrain or structure demands we do. What I wouldnt GIVE to be able to jump!

Vehicles SHOULD have modification factorsm weapons and shields.. I agree.

It's Y Axis and yes there is one, how else do vehicles hover, they aren't a set height, they go up and down, eg go up and down bumps or terrain and you can see what i mean, maybe you fly at a fixed height and as your skill increases the height options change, you know like with survey tools are your skill increases you can change the scan range, same thing but you pick height. know what i mean?

BTW too jump type /jump but you don't physically jump over anything because the Geometry of the model doesn't move which means you still crash into things when jumping

Not to compare this to EQ, but we need something like EQ had.

EQ had many places to go to, where you would find a number of people at the entrance. You couldn't enter without a group of people.

Make new places that required groups, AND, make experiance harder to get. I can't believe people can and have mastered 20+ professions. It took me almost a year to be a level 60 cleric in EQ. I loved every second of it too.

This game seems to be full of Masters of everything. The middle of the road is too short.

Forced grouping, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

I'd like to see in game notice/advertisement boards. This may help cut down on the selling lag thats always around the major starports as well as help those looking for items find what they need.

E.g. a basic notice board for wants and for sales which can be accessed from any planet. That way artisans could use it as a form of in game order book. Talking of which what about maybe order ledgers for players shops instead of having to send them in game emails.

Billboards or posters type things. Maybe this would be something for the business class players to make for other artisans or players. Each person could maybe have a handful of advertising plots (2 or 3) these could be used to place billboards at strategic locations to advertise your shop or goods.

I'd like to feel that these threads had some kind of point to them, as far as I can tell no-one is listening to what we say - these threads are just here so we can feel like our opinions matter - which they obviously dont - unless you're a Jedi ofcourse

Ok. In concept: Imperial Crackdown.

What has worked:

1) More Imperial presence in SOME places in the galaxy.

What has NOT worked

1) The Imperial Presence should be more prevelant in ALL MAJOR CITIES.

2) The Imperial Presence has turned into a Faction Farm for Rebels.

3) Crackdown contraband scans seem to be easily dismissed. I'm an Imperial Colonel Master Smuggler. Sure my rank and such should merit me being saluted. But where is the smuggling?

4) GCW bug fixes have NOT been implemented as promised. There are still tons of exploits with bases. People still seem to be able to hit turrets that don't hit them back from a certain range. People can STILL shoot from inside a base at and hit and kill people and NPC's on the outside WITHOUT retaliation from any NPC's inside or any penalties. Minefields at base entrances are basically useless. Should be replaced with some sort of Shield that goes up preventing entrance to opposing factions any time any element of the base is under attack. Thus making stealth more preferred and having the requirment of more than one or two people to take down a base.

I can go on and on. But in concept, the Imperial Crackdown was nice.

Lets hope the devs can do a revamp of the now-pathetic crackdown soon...

REQUEST FOR A NON-PvE TYPE OF QUEST:

Is there any way we could get a new type of quest, one that does not require combat? Dungeons are great for those that are trying to up their combat skills, but leaves players like myself out in the cold. It would be nice if you could add an Adventure-game type of quest, one that takes a long time to complete, involves several different planets and people, but does not require combat. Instead, you would be required to solve 'puzzles' by interactions with NPC's and items that you obtain along the way.

I'm thinking of the classic-style Adventure games here, like Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Grim Fandango, and more recently games like Myst, The Longest Journey, etc...ones that are full of storyline and require that you actually use your brains to complete. I think this would give the game that much-needed content that everyone is crying for, while also allowing us non-PvE or non-PvP players a chance to enjoy some of this new contentbeing added.

I was thoroughly enjoying the COA Act 3 storyline until I had to defend the base against Imperials at the end, which resulted in me standing around crying out for people to group with me for hours on end just so I could complete the quest (which I still haven't been able to do).

Did I say please? :-)

Combine faction scanning and mine devices with speeder racing.

Along rivers, beside mountains, and marking the out-of-bounds, crashpoints are provided with faction based fans whom attack drivers unlucky enough to set of a covert scanner. The winner of the race most likely the one that stays overt.

Forced grouping is good, when it's for dungeons.

Go to some of these barren places. There is nobody around. Groups are what make EQ so successful, and Star Wars the top of the garbage list.

I sudgest the introduction of elite-elite classes for melee. The reason why I sudgest this for melee (and only melee) is due to the technical advantage of ranged. Also, facing facts, there is very little improvement in the way of marksmanship. Whereas in martial arts there is always something to improve.

I already made a sudgestion that TKAs be transformed into an elite-elite class, where the current TKAs be changed into a regular melee fighter class. Other Melee elite-elite classes could be:

Pikemen: Lancers (Mounted Riders)

Fencers: Dual Wielders

Swordsmen:

Been looking for a place to post this, but I guess this will have to do.

Subject: Are Exploration POI badges really encouraging exploration?

I haven't visited a single POI ever since they started spamming me with exploration badges. I avoid them all like the plague, and I'm getting tired of it. What if the Devs decide to put something useful on top of one of them? I can't get it because I care about my badges and my character. I don't want a non-reversible side-effect DOT on me for trying to get something. It's not worth it to me. Please remove exploration badges from the game. Thanks.
