Thread: Crafting Experimentation Changes... resolution.
wow, you guys really do care about us ![]()
Thanks for all the hard work dev team![]()
While I welcome the decision of the design team. I would hope that we could all learn from this process. From the 30+ page long petition to stop the change, to the 30+ page response to the "justification" to the change.
According to your post, this was a change that you knew would not be popular. Thankfully, you followed a better procedure than has been in the past, and at least gave justification for your decisions, and actually listened to the response you got back (cough)decay(cough).
However, amongst all of the "glowing" responses you'll get back from this decision, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I'm not overwhelmed with joy with the developers of the game. Yes, they've listened to us, but we shouldn't have to continually fight back against overwhelmingly bad changes like this constantly, in order to maintain a fun and playable game. I fear for when we get the "complete" combat system "overhaul." It will not be something that can be rolled back so easily, and is a change on par with this experimentation one, in shaking the foundations of a game that has been live for almost 9 months now.
I am also a bit upset this change isn't happening.
It is unfortunate the crafting system was not this way from the beginning.
However, I am glad that the majority of the player base will be happy about this Un-Nerf

Oh, and if you see Pex, tell him thanks so much for the X-Wing! ![]()

I am disappontied that this is not going in. I hope you continue to work at it, for I really like the changes.
SO am i, something needs to change and because change is never accepted well even if its for the better of the game the devs are just giving in to a bunch of whiners. Oh well, i guess this game is suppossed to be boring and lack any challenge at all.
...and there was much rejoicing! ![]()
Now, let's hope that your future resolutions are ADDING something to the game, not taking away. That's the key... ![]()
