That's really sad. As I recall, it is pretty much the way the droid invasion changes were foisted upon the droid engineer community too.

Granted, I should have voiced my opinions while this feature was still in-concept, I suppose.
That wouldnt have done you any good. We thought that we were getting hair accessories like glitter and particle type wateverfall effects or maybe ribbons, we knew nothing about this stuff until today. We didnt get an In Developement thread or an In Concept thread at all.
Stat Migration: Image Designers now have the sole ability to migrate player stats faster than the previous default migration rates. The process will take 10 minutes and requires the Image Modification Booth located inside the ID tents. This functionality has been revoked from the general player base and now requires an Image Designer.
Revoked eh? Now that sucks....Some of us doing hologrind do tweak our stats a lot. Even after grind I think this is going to be a pain. I can see some ID and a player going head2head over what stats to migrate...lol

No one is forcing you to migrate someone's stats. Let the people who want to do this hang out in Coronet or Theed or Bestine and do it. The rest of you can hang out in your Beauty Shops and do what you've been doing all along, but with more options. According to Kwee, the tents just cut down the amount of time it takes before a change takes place. I'm sure the customers willing to seek you out will be more than happy to wait that little bit of extra time in exchange for the atmosphere you povide.
It's not so simple. What if, every day, almost every twenty minutes, someone asked you to train their pet? And if you refused, then what? A lot of people (some I know, some I don't know, and some I don't want to know) know I am one of the few career ID's on my server. I would be constantly bombarded by tells to go to bumsvilleCorellia to change some stats for someone. Harrasment is already and issue for ID's who refuse to work sometimes. Repeated /tells and even E-Mails for us can be worse than lamerz who whine if they die in PvP. I see it now...
((y wont u com hlp me PLZ PLZ PLZ!!! Its not lik it takes u anything 2 just hlp me! **edit**?! U wanna charge me 4 this?! **edit** are you thinkin?!))

Maybe you don't understand—it's not that some of us don't want it. We discussed stat migration relatively early on while considering possible critical function to request and the vast, vast, vast majority of IDs agreed that being the only method for stat migration was NOT something we wanted. At all. Ever. Under any circumstances. This isn't like Armor Padding for tailors, although granted most tailors don't want that, this is something that almost to a person the community doesn't want. At all. Ever. Beginning to understand now?
just a shot in the dark idea..
Annoka you idiot!
Who said I changed stats daily. I was making a point of the time sink created by hunting down all these individual players in the dwindling player base to get services. If you want a time sink to keep looking for players to fullfill your needs in game then this is the game for you.
Im glad you just think of the time to getdoctor buff's is just the stand in line time. I guess for you there is no travel time or time set in there for even finding a doctor or telling around asking to get one. Perhaps on your server there is a 100% chance of always getting a doctor in the Coronet courtyard. (if you answer yes to that I know you are a liar. )
