The robe/resist thing is going to be very tough for you guys to balance TH to be honest.

On one hand: Jedi have Lightsaber Toughness and Jedi Toughness. You can get +55 Lightsaber Toughness and +45 Jedi Toughness if you go with a Master Saber/Master Defense template. Which is essentially the same as roughly 75% composite on all of the time if my math is correct.

On the other: You run into a few difficulties a) Lightsaber or Defense are required almost since robes have no resists. This leads to b) The entire point of the jedi revamp was Diversification of Jedi. Guess what, we're now all the same for the most part. Does anyone know a single jedi in the conversion that mastered powers? However, if you put resists on robes now, even at 50%, Master Saber/Master Defense have about 88% resistances now due to toughnesses.

Final statement: Success on implementing robes and making the defenses innate in the jedi prof. Failure in only having the innate defenses in two of the trees gimping jedi diversification.

Ok, on healing:

Most of the heals are bugged in some way, and the delay needs to be removed until the combat revamp. I know it's balanced for that in advance, but balance us then, not now. With a 4 second delay between a poison heal (which now takes roughly 3 or 4 uses to heal one compared to guranteed heal before) it renders it useless against a cm with a 1 second poison fire rate. Total Heal Other is capped and doesn't do what it's supposed to.

The biggest grudge I have with the Jedi revamp: The removal of the Padawan Profession from the game. You gave Jedi the ability to go up in different disciplines like Force Defense and Force Enhancement, but they can't get any xp off of this. If jedi go up exclusively in those trees, they have no means of getting jedi xp without attacking, and have gimped their character completely. Lightsaber is required now, and this again has gone against the entire point of the Jedi Revamp: Jedi Diversification. The Padawan profession is still needed in the game to give Jedi a basis to build off of before going into the advanced disciplines. Doing this solves the above mentioned problem, as well as having the innate defenses only available in a few certain trees. If something is required and the innate defenses are in there, it evens the playing field and encourages diversification.

I've said my peace.

Except 75% composite would have AR1 which makes a pretty large difference. I think this was a slight oversight in balancing.

Th, I think it is time that the Dev's live up to what they have promised in the past and put the resistances in the Robes. You simply cannot keep ignoring this situation and no even respect the community enough the respond to this... forgotten... aspect. Also why put jedi screen shots on the main page with a hooded cloak? Oh yeah, I know.. it looks good and gives SOE a way to intreigue people about the jedi. Just put a disclaimer at the end that this is not available in the retail version

This will continually get worse and worse too once people join the Force Ranking system. The extremely high FRS xp requirements, and the low number of jedi that will be in the enclaves, especially in the start here andon lower population servers, is going to do that. The system should be based on the number of jedi in the enclave for the xp requirements, to help ease the number of jedi forced to be involved in the general PvP of things. The higher the jedi population is, the more jedi vs. jedi pvpthere can be to encourage the enclaves and it takes it away from the general population.

Prepatch:

I had 18 pearls, 3 sabers made of 3 crystals/1 pearl, 1 saber made of 2 pearls and1 saber made with one -9 FC pearl.

Of the 18 loose pearls 4 were -9, 3 were -8 and 3 were -7.

Post-patch:

Of ALL 35 ofthose pearls I ended up with ONE -9, ONE -8 and TWO -7.

Devs please just admit that the FC of pearls in this patch had NOTHING to do with prepatch stats..

Jedi Robes:

Many Jedi I know are using BE clothing and not using the robes due to lack of armor/resists. We need our robes fixed pls.

Jedi Skill:

We are cookie cutter, but I expect you will be able to get stats on this down the track. (i.e. master LS, master enh, 4004 heal)

General Feedback:

conversion went fine for all the jedi I know, but then corbantis was fortunate to get to test it out. I do know folks that did not get to test their conversion that still have not due to being scared to death of making a mistake. I'd suggest giving people a 24 hour grace period to redo their skill conversion.

Crystal hunting:

hunted dant monk/janta for a couple hours and got 1 color crystal. (approx. 60 kills) I think that is still a bit low on the drop rate.

I emailed my main concerns to JustG - no response

My others are the spawn rates on Trial Mobs - some are way to low the Graul Marauders are insane I'm on my 3rd day looking.

Other than Robes having zip for resists and a general lack of skills atknight trial levelall is pretty good,

Well not much to say other than I would like a second shot at conversion process. I unlocked 15 minutes before server down on the last day I could do it. No real idea what did what, and now I have skills I cannot surrender? What is the purpose in that and why isnt there some glaring red warning? Justg after several days of petition in jedi forum posted only one comment to thread which was "not gonna happen". I can accept that but the response was pretty unprofessional, considering the time spent answering questions for the BH forums. Not a this is why or why not nothing. Just suck it up and deal with it. You guys are the ones who did not give us any sort of guide to how all this was gonna work. To simply say not gonna happen is alot like saying well some stuff that is better left not said on these forums. But if you use your imagination I think you can figure it out. Please reconsider allowing a one day stat conversion.

All that said I am a JEDI!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

on 2 hand saber old patch i believe BODYHIT3 was a area attack to all enemies health pool in radius......also 2 hand sweep3 use to be a area posture change...both of these do not do area anymore....was that intended or bug???

also on tc2 when u were a knight after trials...and surrendered a box to take u below it gave a dialogue box saying like u have so and so time to get back thew skills for knight or u will be ejected from rank system....i heard live if u surrender after trials u lose all titles for it and u have to do them over ????? is that right?
