The ideas may hold water, but the time and resources to create and implement these new features could be spent better elsewhere.

So far so good. My question is... for those that grinded some holos but not all will still be moved ahead in the quest system? How will that work?

I like it alot, but its doesn't seem like it would fit into any of the current planets in the games roster, it seems like something that you would need to add a new planet for...

Heck man you guys are going to take plenty of time to do it, and we know you have left over resources from before launch. You could easily add one of the other planets in the correlian system or something.

Time will tell how the path will curve

I like the storyline and how it fits... and I do like the idea of herding the FS people into a place... its hard enough to find the right people to ask for the right directions...

Will there be a mechanism to prevent griefing of people working on Jedi there?

Will Jedi even go there?

If there is something to prevent BHs from going there will there be something to keep Jedi from hiding out there and leveling in safety?

Also if a guild or group of guilds is able to drop scanners or something there and restrict access to people only of thier choosing be it there faction or there alts of the opposing faction used for dropping farms etc.... will there be something to prevent this from happening?

Is this a place you can shuttle to?

sounds great, TH. Keep up the good work.

One question, how will you get to this village? or is that a secret? Will it be instanced?

, I'd have had first if it would of let me sign in....next time......

Okay, first of all I love the idea of a Aurillilialksdlka village, wondering what book did it come in or comic, never heard of it..

Second of all, I am wondering.....where is it going to go? It would be weird if you put it on Corilia (lol) and it wasn't founded on dathomir since thats probaly where you guys had in mind, it would break continually it again (imagine putting jabbas palace on naboo because theres no room on tatooine)..............new planet?

I think just on that village can the jedi have sanctuary. Every where else we have saber tefs and everything, jedi are on the run but they cannot survive solely in that village, they must take risk and venture to the outside worlds....

Keep up the imagination devs!!

Only if once you get there you can come and go as you like. I don't want to abandon my PA or my business for any amount of time.

Definitely. Sounds fun Are we going to get something similar for our JTL character progression?

Edit: I also agree with Zooey's post above mine.

The idea is good and so is the quest journal, however even though mystery is always nice it might be frustrating to people who chose not to holo-grind. (their choice call it lazy or what have you)The path to being FS has been known for quite some time now. To say now that anyone who wants to achieve FS is left up in the air is a little shady.

I do say I like the idea since it will add some content and maybe some roleplay aspect to the game, but just remember that making it a secret to keep the jedi numbers down is a little late at this point.

Village sounds cool..although it might look like Coronet at 6pm

Quest log sounds cooler...can others see it too like badges??

but not to beat a dead horse here...but what about the 2nd slot?..when is that opened and is the main char still being forced to be a jedi?

I gotta tell ya TH, This whole idea sounds amazing. Great storyline as well, my suggestion however is to make it instanced just because there is going to be a high lag rate and it will more than likely cause people to crash while loading, but again awsoeme idea. Really top notch.

This type of business ethic continues at SOE because of their CEO, John Smedley. Little does the public know, that Star Wars Galaxies was scrapped in 2002 and redeveloped in 14 months from the ground up. In a meeting, they asked how they could get away with releasing such an unfinished product. John Smedley stated that people will buy it because it has a Star Wars name on it - and then laughed as they said they would complete the retail product (which consumers have already paid $49.99 for) with approximately 2 years of subscription revenue

Interesting. I just hope that the system is difficult enough so every player does not end up FS. It should be as time consuming as say, mastering 25+ professions in the old system was.

You made note last night of crafting and combat quests in publish 10, for people with different characters to do the quests how they enjoy the game.

Will there be quests for entertainers and medics to do?

This sounds wonderful TH! I see real potential here, I am excited. Thank you guys for making this kind of effort for the players who want to pursue becoming FS and perhaps eventually Jedi.

I can't wait to hear more.
