If you have 1 vendor with 3000 items, each time someone accesses the vendor, all 3000 items must be loaded, leading to strain on database. With 250 limit per vendor, database strain is much lower. Strain is not just in how much is in database, but how much must be loaded in each time.

But what is the reason that we couldn't have 6 vendors with 500 max items on them? Not complaining and I really appreciate you working for us on this. I guess I just missed the reasoning on that.

Many vendors only creates mess and lag when loading
The final number is much better although still lower than I would like. Question. Why Increase the number of vendors? Why not just spread the 3000 across all 6 current vendors. IE. Bus 3. Max of 100. Nov Merchant 2 Vendors with a max of 300 (Total of both vendors), and so forth up the line to Master that would allow 3000 items on 1 vendor or 3000 items on 6 vendors. Some people only operate 1 or 2 vendors and forcing them to use 12 vendors to provide all of their wares to people is a little insane. Is this possibly a way to add another money sink into the economy?
Also, I have a vendor with 5000 items on it selling weapons. How will this affect me?
