Thread: “Oh my…sir, he says there are several creatures approaching
One more question.... so Master Creature Handlers can have 2 pets. Can both be fighters? Or is it one mount and one fighter?
Good work.
Should be interesting to see how things balance or unbalance when the entire non-CH population can only use one pet at a time for awhile.
It is still unfortunate that you are keeping the CL on Non-CH's at 10, even with the Wrix I have now it has like a 1K HAM which in high end game is a single hit. If this can still be considered to stay at CL15 would be most beneficial for a Non-CH to still have a pet in the datapad. Otherwise, the above changes are great and I think it will help bring much balance to the galaxy.
Did you even read his post? Thunderheart said: After discussing this internally, we've decided it's not a problem to leave the max level at 70 rather than at 60.
Dilweed, you realize if the cap is 70, that it will be possible to tame lvl 60 creatures....

Skill Tree Notes
- Lvl + refers to the max level of pet that you can tame.
- Taming refers to your ability to tame a creature (the higher it is, the fewer tries it will take before the creature accepts you as its master).
- +tameAggro is where the Vicious Creature skillmod begins, as per the current skilltree.
- All the current commands remain, and remain where they are (except trick2 and emboldenpets).
- useRanged moves to Master.
The +1 active pet at Management III is left alone (but xp granting will be changed so that it does not increase the rate of progression).
Now, On to Player Correspondents and Droid Engineers…

Great Update. The 1 pet rule should be delayed until the exceptions are ready to go live as well though, but it should go through. And, I belive that part of this post is on Pt 2 of this thread.

Thunderheart - do you have a rough ETA? Even "end of November" or "end of December" types?
And.. will this be on test for at least a week?
Will all of these changes go in at once (I hope so, for obvious reasons)?
I will let you know as soon as I can

Did YOU read the post? He said the max CL total will be left at 70, but they will introduce very rare CL60 babies...

Did you read his post? He can't wait to tame lvl 60 creatures which will be introduced (rare baby spawns). The max CL will be 70, meaning a MCH can have a CL60 pet plus a mount....
On a side note, thanks very much for the clarification TH. It appears like you won't be breaking the game afterall.

Nice insult - did you even follow the issue? Everyone was complaining that they couldn't train level 65 pets so the person above made a sarcastic remark about training level 60 creatures without reading the post. Of course you can train lvl 60 pets with lvl 70 cap, what do you think I am, a moron?

Our plan here is to first impost a very strict limitation: One pet, regardless of type. And later (but soon) to introduce exceptions to the rule based on the particular pet type. For example, your faction rank will be used to allow you to control more and better faction-perk pets. And your profession will influence the type and number of droid pets you can call (or the number you can call in addition to a creature pet). For example: Doctors, Medics, and/or Combat Medics might gain the ability to call a surgical droid even if they already have a pet of some other type called, whereas a Droid Engineer might be able to call a number of droids of any type, etc
DE is a crafting profession. a DE needs a market not the ability to use his products. This looks like if weaponsmith were automatically granted the certifications of allthe guns theycan craft. This doesnt make sens at all.
DE just need good utility and combat droids with a decent MARKET for them.
