Doubt that would have any effect on camping like you imagine. It's the group that does the most damage, not per player. If there's 10 people attacking a mob that are grouped, and 1 person comes along and starts hitting it, that solo person should have no chance of looting the mob. Out of those 10 people, the ones that get the chance to loot the mob are those within 10m, outta those, it's the fastest one on their /loot key. I know a Master Rifleman that's pretty quick and beats me to the loot about half the time.

What is REALLY needed is loot notification. Let everyone in the group know what was looted and who looted it. That way, people know what is being looted and who is doing the looting. I hate auto-loot for one reason, most of the time the one that gets the loot can't use it, there's someone in the group that can use it but must get it from the one who did. This can be trouble sometimes.

Now, if you knew what was looted and who looted it, if that person kept looting and not giving it up, then it's a simple matter of kicking him out of group. With auto-loot, it's a bit harder to kick them out of group since they're not really hoarding it. Though, I've seen it happen.

Hello all, and TH too,

I've read over a majority of these lists and I can without regret say that I am underwhelmed. I am so disappointed with the dev-correspondent relationship. Top Five issues for the professions should NOT include bugs. Those are things that should be on the work list for the devs already, not something that we as players should have to beg to add to the 'to do' list. The top 5 list for Rangers is a bug list, not real issues, but bugs. Devs should know the bugs already. If not then I need to stop wasting my time sending bug reports. It shouldn't take a forum correspondent to alert the devs to matters that my bug reports do just fine.

Correspondents are the link between the player base and the devs. I feel more needs to be done on their part to differentiate player issues and bug reporting. I quote TH, "The player correspondents and I interact and talk about player issues; game play, rules, technical challenges and a great many things." Correspondents can send lists of bugs, yes, that's wonderful. But when you only get 5 topics to present to the devs for them to take a look at, please do not include bugs... that's such a waste.

I know this might sound like a rant, and maybe it really is. Some of the issues are well founded and I salute the correspondents work.

Overall, if I can sum this message up in one sentence, I would have to say Thunderheart, please screen the each professions Top Five and do not let the Correspondents submit bugs that are already known to the devs.

SLOW????? SLOW???? We are approaching the new year and you are STILL rattling off the same happy BS. I remember "its only been 1 month, give them a break", "its only been 4 months, its a complex game - give them a break!!".

I went out and bought a game this weekend. A REAL game. No major bugs, things working right.. what a relief. I am just going to keep smiling as i watch this game implode, you will deserver it sony. January is approaching sony.. lets see how much you boast your client numbers then.

Slow.. dood u r slow.

Several books, official parts of the Expanded Universe (all authorized by Lucasfilm),have instances of dark jedi serving the Empire in some fashion or another.

I've looked thru most of the combat class lists that were posted. I'm rather disappointed. The answer to pretty much all the issues was the same. The answer to almost all of them was "The combat system is being revamped and the issue will be looked at then".

A rather generic and uninformative response. As the new combat system is slated for Jan or Feb that's another two months away.

You probably don't want to give to much detail in case of changes. But something more than "being addressed in upcoming publish/combat revamp" would have been helpful.

Its good to hear professions are finally coming to the top of the priorty list now that the new material is finally added. Its been a LONG and often frustrating wait, but I'm hoping when the profession/combat system are re-evaluated and redesigned, a top-down vision is given to them. In entirely too many cases, with the exception of the recent andvery well-done revision of the Creature Handler and Bio-Engineerprofessions (bugs aside), changes to professions have been piecemeal or of a band-aid nature. If the two recent redesigns of the previously indicated professions are any indicator, you and the Devs might just get this game on a solid track.

We'll have a new Politician Correspondent coming in 12/27-28 and Im very pleased that they accepted the spot and I know everyone else will to. He brings an amazing amount of gravitas to the position, though he wants to announce his arrival.

But has he actually played a Politician? It seems you keep sidestepping that question. I don't want someone who is just a cool person, I want someone who knows our issues.

Good Morning,

Please TH keep in mind in your meetings and discussions with your peers, that NERFS (not bug fixes, or enhancements) to things dramatically effect players. Please keepin mind all the hard work players do for their various perks; by NERFing items, weapons, specials, etc to try and achieve this so called "balance" you are disregarding all the time put into the game by players for these items/specials/weapons/etc. Balance things by giving enhancements to others not taking away from hard earned players.

Merry Christmas, keep up the hard work.

Merry Christmas, Thunderheart. Awesome work!!! I don't mind you being late on things - covering 20-some professions and learning them all, compiling bugs and fixes is a huge task. Good job!
