Thread: Faction Insurance Day Pass: How much?
CHEAP! Nothing like 1000 FP or anything, probably 500 at the most and even that is a little high, If I'm going to go on a raid and I'm a little short on FP I don't want to have run an hour of missions before hand just so I don't have to worry about decay
On another note you could potentially give levels of no decay depending on how many FP you want to spend, like say, you could spend a lot of FP but you'd get a week or even a month of no decay, or justa small amount and get the 1 day protection, things like that'd be cool
Umm 10 to 25 FP.
Make it so ya can get multiday versions as well. Maybe a 7 day one would be good also.
Although I do agree that the idea we need one in the first place is just wrong.

In the teams effort to resolve the PvP Death and Decay, what we are going to be able to implement (for publish 7), is a Faction Combat Day Pass. This "day pass" is Insurance.
You check in with your faction recruiter, purchase a day pass for faction combat (PvP and PvE), and for 24 hours, you will have no decay on your insured items.
How much do you think this should cost?
NO DECAY IN PVP!! CRAP MAN....quit trying to bend us over a locked container!
I agree with Free Beer since weren't you initially going to implement this where there simply was no decay at all for a pvp death?
A better solution might be to just simply remove decay on insured items period, and also not increase how much that costs. Personally I think it is lame that I pay to insure my stuff and it still decays 1%.
I would also like to add that this adds one more annoying step in the whole process of enabling oneself for pvp, and what's worse about it, is it basically means one must pay to pvp. (although we already do pay too high a price to pvp in terms of item decay, not to mention speederbike destruction griefing.)
