Any chance of getting an official statement on whether or not the FSCS qualifications have been changed? Although it was stated that no changes would likely be made until publish 7, there are many many rumors and accusations of stealth nerfing be made on several threads throughout the forums.

Any feedback would be nice

thnx

Many weaponsmiths and customers are waiting to hear about the stealth FWG5 nerf that was pushed on us in Publish 6, where we can no longer extract pre-November patch copies of these weapons from crates.

There is a rumor that this culling of older weapons extends to repairs as well... that any repair attempt on apre-patch or krayt FWG5 will automatically fail.

Feel free to comment, it will be the first thing anyone has heard on the issue.

ThunderHeart,

As I am sure you know by now, people are starting to worry that the ability to open your FSCS is temporarily locked. It seems that no one can confirm an unlock since publish 6 went live.

Could you either...

1.) Check the logs and confirm that it is still possible to unlock.
2.) Let people know that no one has unlocked because of a new bug.
3.) Tell us the ability to unlock has been blocked/modified/put on hold.
4.) Direct this question to someone who can answer it.

Thanks,

What is the status of the Hero of Tatooine Quest (a.k.a., the Hermit Quest)? This quest has been broken since launch, and that's a LONG TIME for something that had such potential to be ignored. This was truly one of the most engaging NPC quests in the game, and it has been broken for over 6 months. I know the patch notes said that all Tatooine quests had been fixed, but there have been absolutely zero reports of people gaining any of the Hero of Tatooine badges. Please let us know whether (1.) the quest has been fixed and is working properly, (2.) the quest is still broken but iscurrently being worked on, (3.) the quest is still broken and is not on the timetable to be fixed, or (4.) the quest has been removed from the game.

Yep agree.

FS slot opening clarification would be great as there is becoming a lot of negative comments both in game and on the forum boards about this procedure.

Just to clear up that it is still functioning without change since both Publish 6 and the Friday hotfix.

Thanks TH.

My character is (or rather, was earlier in the weekend) a Master Commando with some Teras Kasi skills. I found some very, very odd issues with my experience gains that led me to run a few tests and make some comparisons.

In the tests below, the COMMANDO list is the results for a Master Commando using a flamethrower. The TKA list is the results for the same character, Teras Kasi Artist 0/2/1/0, using a Vibroknuckler. (Although it doesn't matter if I used the knuckler or went unarmed - the results were the same)

Master 0/2/1/0

Commando TKA

Young borgle gruntling 154xp 30xp

Deranged Squall785xp785xp

Bearded Jax 462xp 323xp

Ikopi 147xp44xp

Rebel Medic9 FP16 FP

Avg Mission Difficulty 25 14

This is just a small comparison, but I repeated the kills enough to find that it is consistent. Surprisingly, a very low-skill TKA earns almost no exp for low level monsters, while a Master commando with a flamethrower earns a great deal. This kind of surprises me, since the master commando clearly has an advantage - some of the creatures like the Jax were actually difficult to kill as a TKA, where as with the commando I killed it in one shot, no special moves. Heck, as a master commando I still get around 100 xp for killing a nightspider with my flamethrower.

All this seems in direct conflict to the FP reward and mission difficultly. The commando with the flamethrower is clearly higher level - he gets fewer faction points and harder missions from both the regular and faction mission terminals. The TKA, who gets less xp, also gets easier missions and more faction points for faction kills.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not intending this as a "nerf commando" deal. I just think that the way experience rewards are calculated are a bit off. I also think is way to easy to get commando exp, and that maybe if it weren't so easy, fewer people would be willing to make the committment.

In other games where a game breaking bug prevents you from playing like you normally do, IT IS FIXED IMMEDTIATELY. Thats not the case I guess with SWG or Creature Handlers. The random pet storing crap since publish 6has caused me not to even play...I'm so frustrated with this game and the devs' lack of even a sliver of care about the community.

Please elaborate on the FS slot system. It appears to have stopped functioning after publish 6, whether intentionally which we were not told, or it was broken in the patch. People are concerned if we are wasting our time now grinding professions, we would like to know if this change was intentional or accidental please.

I keep hearing about the combat overhaul that is going on. Will this revamp make it into publish 7. I know this is a ways off. But I was wondering if that is goal that is trying to be made.

Also will jedi be included in that patch. I am sure you have seen the many many posts on this subject in the Jedi forum. I do love being a jedi. But evan with permadeath being take out of the equation. We seem a bit week for all the work that is required to master the profession. I am in the Kedi knight tree. And I have dueled a few friends that were elite profession. Now this was done one on one. And I have lost time and time again. Yes we are very strong when it comes to PVE but what about PVP. Are jedi not suppose to take part of this aspect of the game.

Also will that bug that exists ever be fixed. No one is able to be Jedi Master for the lack of ability to obtian any App points. I have taught many jedi skills and have been going to the same guy for my skills that I need to be taught. And no one can master the profession.

So far i don't lke the crackdown. It has done nothing to the rebels but give them free faction points. i watch rebs come in to bestine kill all the storm troopers while we are fighting them off. the storm troopers are so week it's a joke. if you want to crackdown then make the storm troopers kick some but. but 8 or 9k ham on a st when a reb tka comes in is nothing.plus storm troopers will be getting killed while there is another storm trooper 20k away and he doesn't help.

we need some troopers to spawn when a city is getting hit aith some real strong ham. make the rebs have to fight for their faction points. This patch is more the Chef Patch than the imperial crackdown.

Make the bh droids work. i hate you guys for taking perma death off and not giving the bh some way of atlest keeping the jedi in check.

the new loot is very good thank you on that. it makes doing those misions worth it. I like the storm troopers saluteing me and messing with the rebs. i wish the storm troopers had higher ham though. it seams when they attack in cantina's they die before they even get started.

being able to custom my swoop is nice. it makes things look a bit different.

QUESTION how come we can color armor, bikes clothes but not furniture. it would be nice to have a house that stands out and not being the same on the inside as everyone else's. it wouldn't hurt to see if we could by a pack like the one for the bikes to customize it.

Vehicle bugs on live.

1) all vehicles are now coming with 1500 HAM. Bug or Stealth nerf?

2) coloring kits not 'sticking' for some people.

Other items..

No new crafting bonus item for Armorsmiths or CM's

So far the crackdown seems to be a little weak. I use slice weapons, and other than Stormtroopers being decimated by a sold out Coronet Cantina Rebel crowd, I have seen nothing that even resembles a crackdown. I was expecting much more Imperial in your face, opression, and basically the Empire behaving as it does in the movies.

Those Star Destroyers over Theed are cool though!
