Can we *please* have the option not to have the blinders on our mounts?


I watched ANH the other day, and I did not see blinders on the Dewbacks. I don't recall them on Tauntauns either...


I realize that some of the creatures in the recent movies have blinders, but please let me have a dewback without them.

I hope everyone understands that I didn't read through all of these, so I hope I'm not asking something that was already asked but...


Will combat be allowed while riding mounts and vehicles, like strafe runs on a speeder through a city, or sniping from on top of your bantha, or punching someone from a small mount like a kaadu? Just wondering about how far these Rides are gonna take us as far as realism. I think some hit and run tactics are in order, or at least forming some awesome Swoop Gangs. And it'd make smuggling stuff, or hunting bounties easier, and taking out the regular missions too.


Anyways, I really hope they allow for combat while on a vehicle, the more real this game gets the better, but that's just my opinion.

Banthas move slower than players do... I'm sure that's why they aren't a mount. Quite frankly, anyone who'd want a mount which moves slower than they do is a complete idiot.

Sorry for being a little slow on this subject, but just watching the demo movie I think how the PC is mounted on the creature looks a little painful. My suggestion would be for the PC's legs to be bent instead of a straight splits.

I read through about 8 pages before I couldnt hold down the puke anymore.

Tristan, ya hate the fact that everyone has pets and you won't ride anything but a Cu-Pa eh? Alrighty, come join my group, we wont use any pets but you have to get out front and tank, wear your running shoes.

I don't like the idea of having Kaadu on the list because have you seen Kaadu's on Tatooine (except for Jabba's Chef Mission) thats the only time I have seen a Kaadu their.



Im guessing if you have your mount out you can't have another pet out (unless your a creature handler)???

Ok, First off, it's the first batch! And sure they used 3 skeletons, and took a shortcut..But look at last big patch, ok? Remember Patch day, Anyone? So..They take a shortcut on the art, and put more time into fixing the code...well..DUH! Sounds to me like they actually learned something from last big update! As for the other comments, Banthas, Cu Pas, etc....


For one, Cu Pas not too small, Watch Empire Strikes back again. Closely..See anyone familiar? lol..Yeah. Thought so..It's an Albino Cu Pa! And Banthas are NOT Tusken only..Every hermit camp (wait...Hermit CAMP? So.>When did Hermits live in packs of 30?!? LOL) But anyhow..There's Rideable Bantha outside Mos Espa..There's one at almost every Hhermit or Settler camp...But They would have had to replace 2 of the creatures in that 6 to have Bantha, and same with the Cu Pas, can you imagine the screaming when Devs announced 4 rideable pets? 'Only FOUR?!? AHH! I'm cancelling my account!'


Can't win either way guys, I say read it again, and be glad they're taking time to do this patch right, with only 3 mounts to code and test basically, That means we shouldn't have another fiasco of a patch day, I'd say that's worth waiting a few months for my rideable banthas, cu pas, eopies, etc, right? lol. I'd rathr be playing, than reading forums and biatching because They broke the game AGAIN, lol.


Anyhoo, Great info guys..but..STOP DOING THE PICTURE PAGES PLEASE!!!!!! lmao..At LEAST put in a paragraph..tell us what skill to train a creature to be a mount..Who makes the riding tackle? We know you don't have numbers and crap yet, it's not even in beta yet. But should have an idea, what skills, etc. and any clue..Are critters like Tybis, etc gonna be fixed soon for BE? I got blurrg, Tybis, the works that I can't tame. If the Blurrg really IS level 50..WHY is it a level 1 clone engineering pet? lol..Try and sort that out, and btw..the error when trying to tqame a Tybis is 'You have too many items of that type in your datapad. Release one and try again' or something along those lines. So..the Tybis is thinking it's like 5 creatures, instead of 1. Basically. That help track down the bug? lol. Come on..take out a bunch of tissues from us BEs and then don't fix the most glaring problems..at least one creature at every skill level is unuseable?




No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.
