Um, how is this a solution for the FACTION BASE issue. This is a solution for the private house exploit.

also, what if you are overt? could you never enter your house if you were? or your guild hall? and what happens if they just macro once they get inside the house /setentry private or whatever the cammand is. would it kick them out?

JUST NERF THE ENTRY LIST, THAT WAY ONE PLYER CANT HAVE 50 PLAYERS ON HIS ENTRY LIST AND THE STRUCTURE STILL BE PRIVATE.

It's a great thing when 5 squill are taking you out, if you can run into the house perhaps only one will follow you in and you stand a better chance. PVP is another issue though.

Haven't read the entire thread here (perhaps already suggested), but here's my 2 creds on a much needed TEF indicator:


TEF timer indicator could be same as the incap timer indicator- simple.

I think you have to get rid of the houses blocking you if you're TEF'd if the house / building is a public structure.


Today on the way to buy some guns I shot an enemy NPC right outside the store and then had to sit there until I could walk in.


I shot a mark on a bounty hunter mission, then couldn't go into the starport. Figured I'd spend some time healing in the cantina, couldn't go in there - I had a TEF from the neutral mark. So I decided to take missions while overt. Later I walked into Coronet medical center - no doors, but the doctor healing me was ejected thank to the TEF he got from me.


So if it's a city structure that's public or a private structure with a vendor (places with vendors cannot be private) the TEF block should not be in effect.

I don't like the idea of locking people out there homes. I think if someone enters a house with a TEF the house should become vulnerable to attack, not necessarily destroyed but something a kin to kicking the door down. This would allow the fleeing part a few second to heal and ready themselves for battle. After structure was attacked it would become public until it was repaired. A fee could be added to repair the structure to discourage people for using the house in combat.


On the note of the TEF, I like the 10 minute flag. I do agree that there needs to be some kind of indicator that you have a flag. I also think that if players are going to be open to attack by overt players when they have a TEF, the hostile players should be red on the radar, and the TEF player should also have first strike capabilities. I think they should more or less appear to be overt for the duration of TEF. The only exception to this would be an inability to pull out faction pets.

My whole problem with this is that fact that People who die from people inside house's are crying cause they get killed from being OVERT....THIS IS A WAR....If you dont want to die A. either dont pick a side or B. dont run around Overt and start crying if you die.I have been killed many times from people coming out of houses when i was overt and everytime the only thought i had was "**edit** i shouldnt have been overt".


If you go overt you should expect to fight and maybe die.As fas as the fact of you not being able to get inside there house.Then you know what..run away then..It the little kids that stand right infront of a door watching th person coming out to kill you that end up crying.If im being attackd and the odds are against me then i run.


Are yall going to change the game everytime someone crys.There are know rules in war..WAR is DEATH..if you dont like it then dont get involved..People have a choice to either fight or not fight.


While where talking about this how about the fact there i saw a overt imp run into a guild hall when he saw me so i ran in to kill him..after one shot it kicked me out and not him.If your going to do this why not have it kick both people out so there forced to fight.But no he was able to just sit in there and hide like a baby.Then he started crying to me about how i attacked him unfairly cause he didnt know i was there and wasnt ready.


I SAID IT ONCE AND ILL SAY IT AGAIN..THIS IS WAR...IF YOU DONT WANT TO DIE DONT RUN AROUND OVERT...ITS AS EASY AS THAT.
