Thread: Design Topic: Player City locations
i am planning for one out in the boonies on dantooine on the bria server .
its non guild related just a city for any one interested in a scenic location...any one who spends enough thime on dantooine or would live there wont mind the run till a shuttle port gets built cause they probably do a lot of it any way.
if any one is interested in seting up out that way let me know in game!

Our Pa have left Tatooine and removed their City (houses).
After we build up there, too many other players have build in our planed City Area.
So our great planed City can't accomplish there anymore.
Our complete Concept must be chanced, HP, ... ![]()
We have moved to LOK , there we have found a nice Place away from Stronghold to build our City.
We created a City Map and our Members build as planed their Houses.
We hope that no one will disturb our plans a second time...
We wish all other who build up a Player City good luck.
I think it will be a staged migration, for the most part.
The way you have it set up, you are going to see PA's and such make "starter cities" relatively close to existing shuttleportsto level up their mayor. 4 or 5 weeks later, when they have the ability to set a shuttleport, they will uproot and move to much more remote locations.
PLEASE, don't let people build too close, or close at all, to things like Krayts, unless there's a 50/50 chance that the krayts will come in the night and smash everything flat and eat the contents of their homes. I can't think of anything more annoying in-game than undertaking an expedition to a remote location to see a seldom-seen sight or have a look at some fabled, rarely seen beast and, just as I'm topping the rise, there's a CITY sitting there populated with houses bearing signs offering me souvenirs of the thing I came so far out to see for whatever price. What am I saying? It's already annoying.
I also don't think it likely someone like Jabba would tolerate a small town popping up next to his out of the way palace for very long before starting a fire.
I have a little proposal as well. Make the player cities destructible. Why not? Alderaan was destroyed, and that was an entire planet
Cities are much easier.
It probably sounds as if I hate the idea of player cities, which isn't at all true since I definitely plan on joining one, but I DO hate the idea of player cities becoming an even easier means of powergaming the economy into the ground and everyone running around in one giant barter session. Not to mention ruining the scenery.
Thanks
We are located on the SW area of Keren, Naboo. Is a walk of 3k more or less, we like to be in a remote location on purpose so we can grow as we see fit, at this present moment we do not need to be close to a major city, so far we are self sufficient. We are aiming to have our own bank, mission terminals, shuttleport, player baseand if possible Starport terminal. Our major goal is to become not only a town but a major city within naboo.
We cannot wait for this to go into effect already, once the player cities take effect in the game our goal is that within two weeks tops we will become a great city in Naboo. We are rebels in an imp controlled city so our city will be a Rebel safe area.
Not to flame you, but spell check, spell check, spell check. 'I intent(sp) to be a part of a player city.' I cant intent anything, but I can intend to do something
