im one of those guys against BH's getting the mando armor.. just because one mando and his son were BH's doesnt mean the entire race was.... if you want to reward BH's give them the BH armor that has art already in-game... that makes sense...

i do feel having a lootable or questable schematic is a bit obsurd.. though its not out of the question for the schematic to be stored on a datapad somewhere and found... but i doubt a people that needed jed to eliminate a race would be competent enough to craft the armor themselves... but im sure they would have it stored somewhere so a huge cache of them is possible... we still find coins and relics from egyptian and renaissance as well as prior.. hell even relics from 65 million years ago... so finding 200 suits of armor isnt impossible.... maybe the mandos set up a tera cota warrior shrine of their own...

i think the main issue people are having problems seeing is that there is lore and there is game.. theres those gamers that know nothing of lore and just want new stuff or old stuff to work how they think it should work... then theres SW fans who dont care about the game other then to immerse themself in the lore...

either way... yay mando armor is coming..

pk so now im back, ive thoguht over what ive said and ur right, but if al;l classes are able to have them the they should be abundant, and make the resistance equa; or a lil better then composite, it shouldnt be uber. also, whats a mercenary.... a BH!, they do jobs for people and get paid, Most of the time, to knock off someone. other times, like in the story line comics, to wipe out an entire race! when mandolorians were around they moved in packs, squads if u will. the armor was abundant. and i like how the previous poster tried to put the idea steered twards the armor being like relics, or anchent artifacts. also i think bh should be able to use rocket launchers and granades like thermal detonators. anyway ill be back soon with some more stupid posts.

I think the armor i a great freaking idea. You should put a limit on the amount able to be crafted at once though. cap the server to like 100 suits. One more thing, I think Jedi should net even wear armor!! Make it hinder them with there force powers or something!! Thats my 2 cents.

Wookiees should be able to wear the armour too. All the discussion seems to be on which professions, and not what race! We wookiees can wear armour now so we should not be restricted from wearing Mandalorian armour if we qualify to get it!

wait, what? let's see if i understand.

you'll make a dungeon where you have to go through it, fighting off hoards of death watch, just to get the schematic for building mandelorian armor? and then what? give the schematic to an armorsmith who'll charge you a bajillion credits to get a suit?

that's ****ing retarded! come on now! at least make it to where the dungeon is extremely (emphasis on extremely)difficult but you get the suit as a reward. i thought the amount of money floating around in this game was a problem? if you do it this way, armorsmith's get richer wealthier than they already are. no offense armorsmith's, i just don't think this is right.

oh, and throw in death watch armor too. its cooler.

Mandalorian Armour needs to be set so that only masters of Elite Combat skills can wear it. If ever Tom, **edit** and Harry can go round in the stuff it just destroys the history that goes with the Armour. If that turns out to be the case it will be a crime.

Make it Master Commando's and Master BH can wear it. Even if you throw in all the other professions like Pistoleer, rifleman and so on if someone out there really wants the Armour then they can work to master that profession.

By at least making itMaster of elite combat classes who wear it you are rewarding the people who go all the way to master a profession and gives them an added reason to stick with it.

1/ I think should be Master Bountyhunter only. OR Even Master title of any combat class just to be able to use it. Then more people would master titles to use it .

2/ About the drops should be very hard maybe should have do alot missions and not just easy ones . should be like BH missions but,"seeing how Mandalorians are mercs" Like some kind of mark like a very hard spawn like 1-5 things and 1 drops armor/draft should be more one mission like this sometimes maybe let them call for help and spawn moreout of nowere,"wouldmake it very hard"Seeing how stuff is way to easy to kill.

3/ And just maybe Make it end Boss mob fight from feared Fett but, let him flee and live to fight again.Cause Fett knew where to get the armor. that would make it Feel so much more like startwars,

PS. plz stop keeping Vader and Fett and others like them the way theyare make them do more.like have a AI to where they attack jedi .And Fett should do stuff like hunt smugglers, jedi,or even rebels, but make it so that there VERY Hard to beat maybe eben give them alittle loot

It should be a scematic understood only by MBH. This should be our reward for spending 217 skill points to master a single elite profession. We, as Master Scouts, have crafting abilities. But since publish 7 and the restrictions of droids/pets/vehicle calls in camps only being lifted, we can no longer craft any useful items. DEVS!!! THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO LEGITAMIZE THE MASTER SCOUT PRE-REQ!!!!!!!!! Give the Master Bounty Hunters the ability to craft our own armor out of resources that we, as scouts, harvest. Give this suit of armor customizable traps, such as the limited range flame-thrower, wrist lanyard, and poison rocket darts Boba Fett had on his armor. This would totally legitamize the Master Scout pre-req, and would give an under-powered elite combat class an edge we have been lacking since defenses were nerfed in for everyone else.

No! ONLY BOBA FETT/JANGO FETT HAD THE FLAMETHROWER. You can probably have the darts though. In The Paradise Snare for payment on Han Solo, Boba Fett asks for Mandalorian Wrist Darts, very rare wrist shooters which could shoot poison darts. But there will be no flamethrower, rocket launcher, jetpack, because all of those things jango and Boba added over time.

PS: IF THEY HAVE FIRESPRAY WITH SE AND I SEE SOME NOOB NAMED -=BobaFett=- I SWEAR.........

I'm very pleased the Devs are taking their time with introducing Mandalorian Armor to keep it rare and interesting. Towards that goal, I'd echo the comments of others in suggesting only Masters of Elite Combat Professions ought to be able to wear such armor. I think limiting Mandalorian Armor to only Master Bounty Hunters is too restricting, but on the other hand it should be a reward for exceptional players only, to keep it rare.

As for the debate on finding schematics vs. finding the armor itself -- is it possible for those with armorsmith skills to acquire a limited-use (say 5 times) schematic, while everyone else gets the actual armor as dungeonloot? I understand player's frustration with completing a quest only to find they now have to seek out and pay an armorsmith to construct their "reward." But at the same time, I think it's grossly unfair to deny Armorsmith's the ability to ever construct the coolest and most "Star Wars" of all armor. There should be some compromise here to benefit both Armorsmiths and Armor-Wearers.

I am going to do whatever it takes in order to get my Master Dancer a set of Mandalorian armor. I will then park her outside the bounty hunter terminal in Kaadara and laugh and laugh and laugh.

"Ironically, while researching this piece a representative from Sony asked us to keep in mind that many of the players complaining "weren't playing the class right," and that the class was designed as a solo experience. Such a comment is indicative of the original Ultima Online mistake: not realizing that once an MMO is released to the public, it no longer belongs to the developers, it belongs to the people paying $14.99 a month for the service."

I have one toon who is a master armorsmith (just started though), but even I don't think that Mandolorian Armor should be a schematic drop. This is supposed to be extremely rare armor, so logically it should be an extremely rare loot drop to get a piece of it. Yes, I realize this will turn the game into more of a loot-fest, but frankly the game started down that road long ago. It will also mean that pieces of Mandalorian Armor will sell for ridiculous prices in auctions, but then why shouldn't the most coveted armor in the game not sell for a lot? However, I don't think that it should be limited to just Bounty Hunters. I think anyone who has mastered an elite combat profession (not counting hybrids, like smugglers -btw my primary toon is a master smuggler) should be able to wear this armor. And the dungeon should definitely be instanced, otherwise the armor will become too common. My 2-creds on the issue.
