1. My issue is that i cannot call my pet, and I am a Master CH


2. It is a lvl 69 kimogila. It doesn't say that it is an invalid pet, just that i lack the skill to call it


3. It isa BE pet that i could call until it was of lvl close to 70


I hope you all can look into this and figure out the problem for me.

I have stopped using my pets for now, am waiting on a fix.

Oh yeah, the other issue... my pets attempt to follow at a distance of 0m now. It's really difficult to do all the pet-stimming and stuff I need to do in combat when my mount insists on embedding me inside him, unable to click through to the outside world.


I can click on the group roster, but there are some times and some things for which that doesn't work as well.



Give me a shadowed forest into which I might disappear.
Give me a terrible foe and stack the odds against me.
Give me friends and creatures with whom I can share my adventures, my losses and my gains.
Let the gales blow and the world be torn asunder but don't make me stand alone against the tempest.

Just to add one more voice in case there is still some doubt. To stay on topic, these are only the Publish 6 issues. Issues prior to publish 6 are another matter.


1. What are your issues?

Pets auto store during battle. Pets run away during battle. Creatures in lairs you are attacking run away during battle, causing chases into hostile areas. Pets stand on top of your head obstructing the view.


2. What is the Pet description, specifically (type/level, etc)? Kimogila/64, gurreck/35, rancor/54, blurrg/40 something, graul mauler/35



3. Was it a Bio engineered pet or a tamed pet? Does not seem to matter. The majority of pets I use now are BE (for reasons prior to publish 6), but the tamed ones have the same problems.


When I see posts on the CH forum confirming the fixes, I will come back to the game. These issues have caused too much frustration to make the game playable in its current state.


A fix to pets standing on you is in on Test Center, while this was annoying, the game was still playable with that bug. The running/storing/target range issues cause the game not to be playable as a CH.

4. pet growth not following any kind of regular rules, seems to be totally random. i have one pet that is still level 7 of 18 after several months, and i have others that have grown 24 levels overnight!


All the above happen to all my pets. my most used pets are grauls, Klicknick Warrior, Brackaset male, gsp, giant sand beetle, war gronda, giant crystal snake. all are tamed from the wild, and all have had it happen from babies up to fully grown.

I got a collection of pets on Naritus, and I've noticed the bug bigtime. It's woerse with some.


Greater Sludge Panther- Runs likea fat boy in Ethiopia. Can't get it to sit still for a second, have to spam attack or f for it to be any use, and gets old fast.


Brackaset- Totally psychotic. Chases things to the hills, at random. Will not break off, despite a dozen shouts of 'F'. Fine so long as the enemy stays put.


Graul- Autostores at random times, alternates between runnign for the hills, or chasing enemies off to nowhere regardless of commands.


Crystal Snake- useless. Turns sideways, won't attack most of the time, autostores in over half it's battles.


CL 30 BE Dewback- Best Tank..but for some reason, often will not attack. will not run either. Just stands and shouts at them. I've renamed him Ghandi btw.


CL 30 BE Carrion Spat- best fighter of the lot, obeys orders, has only autostored once. He seems to work fine, for the most part.


CL 8 BE Hurrton- my 'xp grinder' for Theed and such. Gets stuck on bridges, stairs, sometimes hills. Must be the fact his legs don't bend.


CL 50 Rancor- Bought it, can't call him yet. One more skill box. Tamed I think (his HAMS are all the same, seems to be a giveaway for BE pets- the mismatched stats)


CL 17 BE Squall- takes 3 days to reach an enemy (apparently your art team has never seen a rabbit in full sprint here...hehe) but works more or less as it should.


CL 41 BE Angler- Works fine, aside from the fact he runs, fights, and sits sideways nearly 100% of the time.


Power droid with Maxxed medical and food/chem station- station works fine. Stores if an enemy even hits once. I sure this not normal, but I don't mind. he cost me a lot of credits, and it's saved him from a bad beatin more than once


ALL my pets are standing on my lap. Droid included. They often will turn sideways while following me, they still follow fine, but, aside from my spider it looks rather unnatural. They autostore while travelling, and sometimes in combat. I have had them do everything from freeze to run to store in combat.



No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.

You need some BE clothes that give you a + to taming. I have a lvl 63 graul that i can't call if I don't have the clothes on.


Pets running..... auto-storing..... pets sticking at certain boundaries..... ALL the same problems that every single person has reported on every single post of every single 10 PAGES.


To me this seems more than a small bug that can wait a while before a fix, it seems more like profession breaking bugs. Yet we don't even get a reply acknowledging the problem. I'm getting fed up.


As an aside, I repaired my swoop 4 times last night, every time I generated after repair the damage was back. At 5300 per repair that works out at 21200. I could have bought a new one for that.

These are the problems I am having and i suspect they stem from the same sourse:




1) Pets move ALOT in combat. I can't tell if they are running or if they are chasing but either way it's a game breaker. I can't keep any mob in range of my pistol and when I try to melee it is impossible for me to keep up while my pet and the mob are playing tag. This seems to happen with all of my pets no matter if they are big or small, ferocity 0 or 15, CL 5 or 58. Spamming "attack" doesnt seem to help much.




2) Pets stand on top of each other and on top of me. When they stand on me I can't see and/or click my pointer onanything. When i have 2 pets out they stand inside of each other making itvery hard for me to target one with my pointer for heals and such.


3) Pets (and vehicles) seem to randomly auto-store. I did notice that when usingtwo pets they always auto-store together.


4) Although not in the game yet:Waiting 30 seconds for a pet to show up after you called it, and 60 seconds after combat before you can store itseems like a realy bad idea to the vastmajority of the CH community. We can't seem to come up with any validreason why this should be implemented for pets. I ask you to please reconsider this upcoming change or at least think about adding "calling/storing speed" modifiers in the CH tree so that at master there is no delay at all. Especially as we are "Creature Handlers" by profesion should we not be efficient at calling and commanding beasts? Make the timer on vehicles if you must, but CHs would be veryupset if these seemingly needles time sinks were added to our already troubled class.





And no TH I don't think it's because "some pets are just cowards".The habit ofblowing off legitimate bug complaintswith an "I'm not going to bother to look in to it" attitude will not due. This is not free ware. We all paid money to buy this game and subscribe for service, and service is exactly what we deserve. If your car is making a clanking noise and the dealership blows you off by saying "Some cars are just noisy". Would yourespect that dealership and trust themto keep your car running properly?




We expect the same from you guys as we would from anyonethat we pay for a service: Listen to the problem(s). Figure out the solution. Implement it yesterday.

That seems like afairlysimple and successfulsystem for providing good service.

I'm a Master CH and themajor issues I'm having is that the pets is when I first get on and start a mission with all three pets. All of a sudden and without any warning or reason the pets ungroup and disband (all of them) this will happen once or twice before they finally stay for the rest of the session. This is so annoying as is my marek battle lord not responding to a follow me command.


Yet another annoying thing happening is that I was fighting giant peko's on Naboo and they spawn near this river - well it seems everytime they go out to the middle of the river fight my pets and die and I cannot get either my pets to follow or harvest the peko.

Common issues:


Fighting with pet at a hillside is nearly impossibel, for example on dathomir the mission spawn directly at a hillside and my pet wont attck the lair nor the enemy when its at the hillside, it keeps runnigtowards and backwards and in circle.

Same happens when near water of rivers or great lakes.


With all my pets ( theyall are tamed in the wild) i have the issue as described before, they stand on my point when i command them to follow me, and they stack on top of each other. This i recognized to many NPC in all the world around ( atstarports, cantinas, streets ) they stand inside each other sometimes packs of 10 - 20 NPC in one of each other.



Issue with BE Pet :


i have a CL67 kimogila (BE) and it is fully grown in my datapad, befoire it was grown i coulkd call it, but now after the publish 6 it is not callable anymore, i am a master CH though, i get a message ' you lack the skill to tame this pet ' or something like this.


Issue with /tellpet:

Sometimes my two graul (tamed on dathomir in the very south of the planet as theywas spawning there a longtime ago)wont listen to my /tellpet command group, but if i say or yell the command they trained at they react,but most of the time the /tellpet does work.

Try storing it before you repair it. The database gets out of sync as shown by how often you get on a vehicle and the next time you open the radial it still thinks you are not on. Same with getting off and when you click later it still asks if you want to get off.

1. Pets disappear into datapad for absolutely no reason during battle leaving me unprotected. If there is just one thing that I shouldn't doubt as a CH it's that my pets will just disappear on me. It ruins the profession.
