Wow, I mastered 14 professions post publish 9 just to see if i could get lucky. Apparently i'm very unlucky. I didn't get even 1 free unlock with this current holocredit system. This is a sad day for my SWG experience.

i grind 31 profs, then it says wait pub 10 for your FS,
we waited publish 10 and here it comes
then we start to wait oldman, he comes after 2 days later,
and now m stillwaiting siths,
when ll i be a jedi ?
in a day ?
in a week ?
in a month ?
p9 unlockers must be visited first, why just badge collectors visited before us ? we mastered over 25 profs, they just travel poi's all around the planets,
who is cllose to be a jedi?
who ll be a jedi ? badge collectors or p9 unlockers?
any p9 unlockers got their jedi's yet?

Here's the deal for me: I was glowy by means of the new system around 5 hours after pub 10 went live. Two mornings later I got the Old Man visit. The same day I got the Sith visit. I continued these mini-quests and eventually got to the village. With all the combat xp and unarmed weapon xp I had I unlocked 4 skill trees- all of the combat prowess skills.
The beginning skills cost 175,000 force sensative xp to learn, and each skill above that progresses to more xp.
Conversion Chart
Unarmed weapon XP ---- 30:1
Combat XP--------------------3:1
You need 24 skill boxes to get Jedi Initiate, so...
If i grind rancors for about 3 or 4 hours a day, I should definately have Jedi Initiate within a month.
***Now enough of my info, and now my dissapointment with this system***
This new, quest based system was supposed to put an end to people's holo-grinding days, correct? Now, with the establishment of the village there was an npc there to convert xp to force xp, to give credit to the holo-grinders, right? This is where is does not make sense. If you unlock 5 trees, which will need to be filled to get initiate, you need to start your 'grind' of xp to convert to force sensative xp in order to fill those boxes. But, isn't this almost identical to the system the devs were trying so hard to change? So basically the only change with the addition of these quests, is doing missions to get the trees to unlock....how much different is that?
I understand that the path to becoming a Jedi should indeed be difficult, and i am not flaming on the system because it is difficult. I am flaming on the system because it is almost exactly the same as the old system. The only difference being the old system would allow you to experience each profession and have fun! No doubt, I am going to try to achieve the title of Jedi Padawan eventually, i am just saying the system could have been inproved so much better.

I was visited by the Old Man and was pretty happy about it, but the Shadow Sith part is complete garbage. If the Sith are after me then why is it some passer by with an attitude can target and kill them. They can't loot them so why do it. It is my feeling and the same for about 2 dozen of my in game friends the Shadow Siths should be only targetable by the person they are after. Can or will it happen most likely no, but hay why not ask. Because my sith were killed by a Tool, how do I know this because my quest was updated, will they come after me again, how long is the wait? This is not a complaint just a question.

WOOOHOOOOOO!!!
I've just got my visit from the old man! And I've mastered NO holo-professions! I just got the required badges before publish 10 was released.
Now to look for those Sith!!!

Perhaps this has already been answered but I don't have the time to look through 95 pages of people whining like little children.
I was visited by the old man within minutes of leaving town after publish 10 hit. He gave me a crystal and told me to hold on to it, then he left. I was not given any other quests (and yes, I checked the journal). I cannot enter the village. Is the old guy holding out on me? Or do I need to run around in an orange traffic vest waving road flares with a kick me sign on my back and a target on my chest spreading bad rumors about the Sith and their mothers in the hopes of picking a fight?
Thanks to whoever can answer this question

TH:
"It will happen outside of a city and in 1-3 days"
"Just go about your business and he will visit you in a day or so "
It's been 3 days soon. I was glowing the moment I logged in after P10 and been searching every day since then.. Tried all "theories"(shuttling, visiting home, doing missions etc) but nothing makes him come to me. So if you are not lying, he HAS TO spawn to me within the next 12 hours. And I wouldnt count on that.

Not sure if this has been answered already, but can somebody please clarify for me? Exactly how many force sensitive boxes/branches are needed for jedi initiate? just kinda curious... I was given 5 unlocks upon reaching the village and have 1 entire FS tree mastered along with 1 branch of another... working on the sixth branch right now? I've heard different stories as to how many branches/boxes/trees are required to become initiate...
Anybody wanna throw me a bone here?
