Did three holo proffession so did that put me in group5??
But after logging in to check with /che.
I was told that i have no connection with the force.
Btw i did my holo profession at the beginning of the holo grind(way before badges was out).
After bages come out i got sick with the game and stop playing for years(until now)
Nope didn't cancel my acount cause of some freinds inside SWG.
So what happen now am i screwed??
The holo proffession that i have grind are in the sig.

i did some quick numbers for one tree in crafting.. too be quick and easiest....
Crafting "gungan head statues" (arch).... 5250 xp per craft
*900k arch xp*
number of crafts = 171
time taken (assuming 9secs per craft) = 24 mins
resources for each craft= 2000 ore
1000 gem
*1225k fs crafting xp*
total number of '900k arch conversions' = 47.6 ***meaning you would convert your 900k of arch xp at 1:35 ratio 47.6X***
time taken (assuming 24 mins per '900k arch conversions') = 18hours 48mins
***THE PROBLEM***
resources total used = 16074000 ore
8037000 gem
now i know where you can get 100k crates of ore/gem for pretty cheap and could prob get some on my own aswell... but do you know how long it would take to get 161 crates of 100k ore and 81 crates of 100k gem..... i re checked my grind time and xp vs. time and the amount xp i estimated earlier... it took me 2hours for 40k of fs xp... that is 1.2mil xp of any combat skill... i did 31 profs.. mission only one prof and now i have to grind approx 50mil xp or some ridiculus number like that... this is way too hard... i urge the devs to change the conversion rates... even cutting them in half... i don't know many people that will be able to do 6 of these trees... i understand money issues, etc... but you intended on removing the 'grinding' from the game ( not sure the exact words you used)... its gonna be much worse!

ok.. to put it into prospective of grinding.. its like doing 10-20 profs (depending on conversion route) per tree!

If Every single one of you who were whining about this actually DID become Jedi, the servers would be overloaded with them, and the game would just be no fun. You want to be the uber-l33t jedi that can kill everyone and anything, but when there's 50 others on the same planet as you, and they've already killed everything .. you think it's going to be so uber-l33t then?
The Jedi are supposed to be HIDING ... Hunted at every corner by Bounty Hunters and Imperial troops (Doesn't matter if you're dark, or light).
If you ask me what needs to be fixed, it's the ungodly power that the Jedi wield compared to the average joe. Yeah they should be powerful, but they shouldn't be powerful enough to take on 20 PCs and live to tell the tale.

God, Force crafting must be the most boring thing on earth.
At least my combat grinding yields me massive amounts of pistol xp per day...
Hey wait a minute, this is still professiongrinding sort of. The quest aspect is minimal. I pity the lack of imagination the developers have.

I think you get about 30K FS XP for 900K XP, or at your 1:35 ration 25K xp.

Look at yourselves!! You're whimpering about how long it's going to take to GRIND JEDI! You're basically being handed the ability to become a Jedi on a silver platter, BUT THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!.
I really think they need to set up another, Jedi-free server ... maybe I'll pay my $30 to have my character transferred there. Because if, 2 or 3 months from now, I see jedi everywhere I look, I'm finding a new game to play.
Go ahead whiners, mod me down to 1 star. (again) you're just mad because you know it's true.
The road to becoming a Jedi is supposed to be a LONG JOURNEY! People are crying because it's going to take them more than a week to get it done!
It took me almost 2 months to get Master DE once I set my mind to doing it. It was a challenge, and I had fun every step of the way. If I was offered the oppertunity to become a Jedi, and the Old Man visited me, I'd TAKE MY RUDDY TIME AND ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE! ... If it took me 6 months, or 12 months .. or whatever to become a Jedi, I'd still frickin' enjoy it! I wouldn't enjoy running grinding macros and staring blanly at the screen though.

I can only speak for myself, but I am somewhat dissapointed that one type of grind has been replaced with another. I was expected much more of a quest related journey to being a Jedi. Yes there are quests, but at the moment it seems to be 1 part quests, and 9 parts super duper grind better grind like an animal before the village phase shifts type of thing.

I was wondering if u guys could point out some adivce frm me an the data disk bug. I killed the sith and looted it, but it says "you have to loot the item before you extract the data" so... i did the backpack thing (put it in my back pack and open it), but it didnt' work. Is it because i have a rebel marine backpack? If n e one can help that'd be great thanks

Well I finally got my Sith visit and am in the Village. I would just like to say that I am STUNNED by the sheer number of players in here right now. It's an absolute madhouse. Wow.
