My CSR is either a NOOB or they are told to treat all people as a noob.

I have found no where that the Badge or a ring is Random.

I have read no where that if you get the 4 Badges the Hero Badge is Random.

I have Read and Read and Read, and a CSR is about to make SOE loose at least 4 accounts, 3 that I pay for and at least one buddy that will follow me, because they wont fix it...

The CSR told me that its a Random Gift and Badge, ----- I Say - LIES!! Get off your butt and FIX My accounts

The quest can only be done at server restart, the only way it can be done right. I have done the farmer, but spen hours looking for the other quests with no joy.

Its barmey.

Surley you can create a system where once somone with the quest is in the area it spawns.

Its silly that thousands of players are looking for spawns that are only capable of coping for about 5 people

This quest deserves an award for the worst quest ever created for a mmorpg and will be used for years to come as an example by other development teams as how NOT to make quest for there games. Im not even going to tell you how to improve this quest because its been said to many times before me. There is definatley nothing heroic about the way you complete this quest, and the badge you get should be called "I am a pathetic looser cause i waisted 100+hours running around doing nothing". Or in some case it might be called "I am the luckiest guy in the world cause it only took me 10hours to finish this quest". Luck btw has nothing to do with difficulty, and to base a quest entirely on luck is just ridiculous. When i think of heroes i think of Knights slaying dragons and stuff not people runing around the desert killing rats for weeks on end waiting for Lady luck to pay him a visit.

WORST QUEST EVER, for reasons stated above....that's if you can call driving/walking around randomly and pointlessly for hours a "quest"....pathetic

I'd have to agree... I finished these quests in about 8 hours or so and not once did I think they were hard or anything to the like. I found the Bounty Hunter in Mos Eisley my first attempt and had no problem with that part. The animal I had to kill was very easy to do, and to be honest, a guild mate who had done it found it and told me where to go, so that was easy also.

This is where it got a bit insanse. I spent almost the entire 8 hours looking for the Pirates. I had 5 rangers on payroll looking for him as well as 100k reward to the person who found them for me, mostly noobs out there grinding marksmen or scout, and had no luck. Finally I was ready to call it a day on the pirates and on my way back to Mos Eisley I stumbled upon a group of pirates, that 1 squill had almost killed, dispatched the squill, killed the 2 pirates, talked to the leader and made my way to the estate to finish.

The Moisture farmer took about 15 mins to find and another 5 to get in the cave, blow the rock and make it out. I had TKM at the time so whatever was in there died in 2 hits anyways.

There was nothing hard about any of these quests. Time consumption and luck have nothing to do with being hard. But as they say, I'd rather be lucky than good any day.

  • this update was made in today's patch. so why just make the mark of courage badge available and not the other three? i have still been unable to get the mark of intellectreward item to complete the mark of hero spherebecause i already did the quest last july or august. so i have the badge "mark of the hero", but i have a 3/4 finished reward item. unreal.

I've got the exact same problem

Due to high player demand, we have revamped and reintroduced the famed “Hero of Tatooine” quest. The quest utilizes brand new static and dynamic content. Find the hero and see if you have what it takes to acquire the Marks of Altruism, Intellect, Courage, and Honor. For players who previously completed the quest, you will retain your badges and may complete the quests from where you left off or from the beginning. To start the quest, the player must first seek out and speak with the Hermit of Tatooine…

    • Have you attempted the Hero of Tatooine Quests?

    • What were your experiences?

I finished it a few days ago, it was very exciting and well thought out. It was really nice to see something with so much work put into it come out without any problems. Excellent work all who were involved. I was suprised to recieve items each time and the last one is really nice and unexpected.

I have only one question... will get to it in a minute...

The quest was diferant than the others in the game. not bad.. not great!.. but not bad.. findng the spawns was a real PIA, and very time consuming. I would think it would be easy to find the spawns, and make the missions hard...
All in all I would give this a score of 7 out of 10 points... 10 being great.

    ok now the question..

HOW DO I ASSEMBLE THE PUZZLE? I want to assemble the pieces and drop it in my guild hall.. but for some reason I cannot assemble them. nor can I drop them. I can how ever destroy them (dont know why one would want to) and place them in my bank. Please tell me this last part is not bugged. Tell me that there is one last suprise quest to get the schematic to put the puzzle together. please please please.

Definitely agree with this. When I was actually DOINGthe quests, I had great fun. The Sennex cave was entertaining and the Intellect puzzle was challenging. However, looking for the spawns is AWFUL AWFUL. More dynamism in the dynamic spawns is sorely needed.

    >>Hero of Tattoine<< on Corbantis

This is interesting. I hired Master Rangers from my guild to help find various NPCs and the Boar in order to complete the quest. The Rangers helped me find the Boar and the Pirates, but couldn't find the Moisture Farmer. Then, one day, when no Rangers were on, I did the circuit of moisture farmer locales, and stumbled across him as he re-spawned. Lucky, lucky.

This type of quest is a breath of fresh air in the Content category. Keep it up.

I completed them when they were issued. Nice quests (not all must be defeat cretures or grinding combat XP).

Futhermore, I earn some credits as a Ranger tracking those MOBs
