What I think you crafters are forgetting, is that the Death Watch Bunker is a Crafting Quest, and the RIS Armor is a Crafting Quest, perhaps more and more items like that need to be added? Or are you looking for instant gratification from a quest that is easy to complete?
You lot have a good deal at your disposal as it stands now, use it, leave the devs alone so they can fix something that is actually broken.
Please explain to me how I as a Master Tailor/Master Artisan am supposed to benefit from the DWB? If I lived long enough to make it to the crafting rooms I get to make something that I will never be able to use/nor would I want to. Now if some of my guild mates wanted to do this then I would go and help them because that is how our guild works. However a true crafting quest it is not. Do you need artisan skills to take a general combat questor even a theme park...NO!!!! Do you need combat skills to make it into much less thru the DWB...YES!!!

So you want feedback here it comes: The crafter quests are in the game but buggy. I tried to put the crafted items as I was supposed to do into these containers you get and after the first item is in it I get the Message container full for every other item I want to place in it. I can't get the first item out and abort to quest, the item disappears when I do that. Trying the same again brings the same results. The container is supposed to hold 7 items but takes only 1. By the way one of my normal containers say something of the same. It supposed to hold 20 items but sometimes it says after the 15th or so item "container full" .... Please fix it.
Thanks.
Oh and I reported the bug through the ingame bug-tool.

Funny when I heard about the crafting missions being added for newer non-masters my first response was, "How are they going to handle payouts." Think about it its hard to do considering that the economy is completely out of the devs hands. They can just give you the cost of production with a static number since that number is variable; it changes depending on the current spawns and prices of resources. The devs don't want to create a situation were the monetary gain from these missions is better then the current market for those items. An overly high price could very easily be turning into a money-farming situation. This reminds me of the extremely low payout for Jedi missions on the BH terminals. Granted, being a master armor smith, I do think that the current payout is also to low, sure they aren't for me as a master but I know from grinding that that isn't enough to solicit people to do them routinely.
The only thing I could think of to give an accurate payout would to make the payout variable. Maybe take the average of bazaar prices for the same objects and subtract a small amount from it so that missions pay a little less then the bazaar. The payout would be a little less then selling to the bazaar but the crafter missions would give you the added bonus of extra exp. These missions should be about the bonus exp not the money (though money should cover expenses). There should be little incentive for the master to use these missions, because he has no need of more EXP, but the missions should pay enough to make it worth his while to do them during slow periods. See how easily it becomes very hard to nail down a set payout?

Thunderheart,
I'm really confused as to what you guys were trying to accomplish with the crafting quests. How did you guys invision them being used?
Consider that they are
a) not fun: all you are doing is crafting the items that you already craft, but without the satisfaction that they are being put to a useful purpose by another player.
b) not challenging: again, there's nothing new here. You've probably already set yourself up to craft these items, there is no new "game play" here, no new challenge.
c) not rewarding: at the pay rate given out, you'd be much much better off just running the old artisan missions or crafting these items and selling them "normally" or heck even selling the raw materials needed to make them. Nor is the xp given for these enough to make them even a conceivable alternative to grinding. Not even close.
I'm really baffled by what you guys were trying to accomplish with these missions. Unless the idea was just to annoy crafters, I'd say they are a big failure.

No no...it's coming soon. Most of the code is already worked out. They've been looking over suggestions from the crafting community for months, and it should only take 1 or 2 more "most needed fix" polls in order to really nail it down.
See, they feel the pain that the crafting community has been feeling, and they know that this is a priority for most players. Thunderheart has been working closely with the devs and the community, so the devs know just how vital this is.
It's a complex system, and the devs want to take the time to do it right. They are determined to only put out quality, thoroughly tested patches, especially on something this big. Thunderheart feels confident that when the new system is in place, it will be a big improvement for everyone, helping make this the best MMORPG on the market.

No, and no. Death Watch Bunker is a combat quest, plain and simple. If you are a crafter and don't have a l33t combat setup, there really is no challenge, you simply cannot contribute to penetrating the bunker. All you can do is try to stay out of harms way and act as a crafting machine so joe gunbunny can get his l33t l00t. That is not the same thing is a crafting quest.
