Would it not make sense that only wookies made this armour from creatures they hunt, as it says in the paragraph below the concept art????
No use making a story up if your not gonna reflect it ingame by lieing!!!

The hunting armor looks great, pretty wicked actually, the ceremonial looks good too, came out looking like samurai armor, which is what i spoke to TH about. Fact is they made a terrible concept art picture of the first armor look good in game, so you know there going to make a good concept picture of the hunting armor look great in game.
As for all of you saying wookiee's getting armor is outta context, please read the books, it's very clear in EU, and others that wookiee's wore armor in major hunts and battles, it also staits that it was crafting all the time, looking for something better. PLEASE TRY TO KNOW THE HISTORY BEFORE YOU TRY TO ACT LIKE A HISTORY PROFESSOR. I think everyone knows the main stories are not in the movies, but in the books, so go out get yourself some of the books read them, then if you feel like posting something about "continuity" then do so. Otherwise please stop making irrational comments. For all those who can't read, or refuse to read the books, you will see in Episode 3.

I would like to add something to the Spank reply to fist-a-cuffs, err.... I mean fingerbanger...errrr...whatever. This guy, something finger...is a real idiot. Now, I have seen many idiots in this game, but this guy has made me feel like a true genious. I would bet that this guy is probably sitting in his grandmother's basement beating off..oh 2, no 4 times a day while he looks at Britney Spears websites. What I need some of these morons to understand is this: WHO THE HELL WORE ARMOR except for Bobo Fett and Stormtroopers? Nobody....Transdoshans wearing armor? Try again Flickyfingers. I remember watching the movies and I didn't see anyone wearing armor but these guys. Now, I know your composite armor is pretty nice, hell, I have an alt toon that has 2 sets of it. The point I am trying to make is, no matter what anyone says, this game is very unbalanced. For example, since when could a human, or any other race for that matter, control 3 AT-STs. Things have been nerfed since those days, but still...3 AT-STs? Who the hell is designing this game. You say you don't want wookies having armor. Fine, that is your opinion and you are entitled to your own opinion, but to say that and you people watch other races wear armor other than human, is bull**edit**. Wookie armor is a good thing. Now the factions cannot target the wookie and get their easy FPS. I guess you IMPs get your damn AT-STs out, but be warned, 3 TKMs can take out an AT-ST, so bye bye to all of those faction points. Another thing, since when should anyone allow wookies, Mon cals, or any other race other than humna be IMP? Do the devs even know the story? I love this game, don't get me wrong when I say this, but sometimes I wonder if some of these people designing this game even know anything about Star Wars. When IMPs attack rebel bases, you notice that all races are included as their target...a rebel medic who is Twi'Lek, so on and so forth. When I attack IMP bases, I don't see anything but humans....Oh and one more thing, those of you who are trying to unlock your FS? This goes out to you IMPs, a rebel is the only thing that can save your ass. SO HAHA ON YOU! Notice, that when you becomea Jedi, equipping your saber will give you a TEF to Overt IMPs. So if I were you, I don't think I would publicly bad mouth rebels if you plan on trying for Jedi, because I wouldn't piss on you if we were in the middle Tat somewhere and you were on fire. That is the joy of knowing who your friends are. So, fingersticks, next time you go bashing anything, do your homework, and at least do a little research on Star Wars. You know there are movies for visual aide and books for your knowledge base. MORON!

Listen up. We get 300 points to secondary stats that means zippo. Why? Let me explain it in simple terms a little story. A BH friend and I go hunting, he is in composite armor and I am in Skin and a shield generator that ain't worth spit. We decide to go Krayt hunting (my personal favorite) so off we go. I am a MCH/ commando. We run on to two Krayts Juv and an adult. They agro each other and We begin burning them down. Now get this I have to be within 15 meters to use my flame thrower effectively. The adult krayt is totally absorbed in the Juv but he has time to hit me once. You know what I am now laying on the ground incapped. My bud comes running over heals me, he gets hit 4 times no problem, his compo absorbs, deflects whatever and he runs back out to 30 meters or whatever and keeps blasting. Staggering to my feet I heal and go back at it again.
Is there something wrong with this, hmmmm. Where was all my extra HAM then? Didn't make an iota of difference cause when someone or something hits me, there was nothing to deflect the punishment. Ok you prolly like getting buffed, tell you what go get buffed and run out and do some Krayts, or Kimogilias naked. Watch your excessive HAM go down. Until you do that you have no opinion. IMHO.

I'm liking this armor, but I must concur: Why is this armor not Wookiee Crafting Specific?
If an item is Race Specific, shouldn't it stand to reason that that item should only be crafted by that race? I started a Wookiee Armorsmith with the basic assumption that only Wooks could make it, like the Bowcaster. What's the deal?
If they made Rodian-Only armor, should Wookiees be able to craft it? No. That's stupid. Just like this situation is. Sure, it'll suck for the short term, but hey: it might actually make SENSE!
As for the armor requiring components: OMG, NO! Seriously, 3 people own RIS armor, or something. It's terrible because it changes stats in moving from area to area, and requires those friggin components that are insanely rare. Please, PLEASE don't make trophies a requirement. At least not in this set. Make the third set component specific, and I'm cool with that, and fix RIS. Should be master crafted and Uber, IMO.

Hey, just here to say a few things on my mind.
I feel that people who have been bad mouthing wookiees from the start because of "extra points" that dont do us much good anyways should just stick to their species... as i see it, everyone who once thought of us wookiees as cheaters are now wanting to make wookiee acounts so they can wear our armor... to tell the truth ive never been any other species except wookiee ever since the start of my game play.. and like i said before.. i chose to be a wookiee before i even read about the game.. even if wookiee was the worst species out there, i would still be one because i enjoy a challenge anyway... the fact is.. all you people who chose to be humans, twileks, trandoshans, etc. for the armor, then u should just keep it cuz wooks are gay remember?... and like i said before.. ide rather look like a "walking, talking tree" rather than some clone... every species BUT wookiee can wear composite armor... how unique?... armor or not, ide be a wookiee any day... i chose to be a wookiee, and ide accept the "no armor" benefit ide recieve for being one... but now taht armor is out.. its a plus i spose. But im not bad mouthing you other species out there... but if u dont like the armor, or wooks in general... then stop posting here... we dont want to listen to u talk smack about the armor... do u feel a need to come here and say it cuz your jealous now?... now u cant pick on wooks without armor?... anyways.. im still waiting for the day where i can be a mighty jawa 
just felt like sayin somethin about it... hope i dont offend anyone hehehe...

I like that idea of the trophies being added to the armor as you collect them... it would be a good way to add a special unique property to your armor... instead of everyone running around in the same exact one as you.. and it would be exciting to actually collect the trophies to wear.. it would be great fun.. i back this idea

Just a thought, is wookiee armor changeable in color? such as composite armor was? or is?.. im not quite sure but i think that all armor should have the ability to change color by the user's choice... the fact is.. sometimes u find really good stats on a armor, but hate the color... so what are u gonna do?... atleast make a painting kit and make it so the customization dosnt fade 
.. ill pay money to change the color of the armor... another thing is... armor lasts a long time... and if ure going to be wearing armor for that long of time, i think u should atleast be content with the color hehehe... so what do u all think?.. anyone else agree with color-changeable armor?.. raise yer hand! =)

Looks like something Goblins would wear, as well as a walking trash compactor still........Wookies dont need armor, or else wouldnt Chewbacca have some? hmmmm????
