Thundeheart, you need to investigate the potential griefing this will cause. People will now intentionally not DB others but instead incap them 3 times to make them decay.

Well this is great news TH. Not only was it changed, but how the playes wanted it. Good job on that.

But, I would like to ask why all the back and forth on this? Again and again, I ask the devs and SOE, as they do us, not to insult our intelligence. First you say it can be done. Fine. Then you say it can't. Stop. Right here is where you went wrong. And then you proceeded to say, that you can't do what we wanted, but something can be changed.

Why oh why, didnt you just say something like, "well we have been looking into the code on this, and it's going to be difficult if not impossible to do. If we are able to do it, it might not be in the next publish, so hang in there." Huh, TH, why not something something like that? Please stop insulting us, just because we play games or something like that.

Thanks, buddy. Yay! I can do PVP again in my 90% armor without fear it will die a sad and lonely death due to insurance.

Of course, I don't die enough to really worry about it anyway

Thunderheart--- Thank you, and thank you to those who worked hard to get this in early instead of making us wait

However, there still remainsthreeburning questions...

1) Will this apply to ONLY declared faction members? Thus reducing the"Tef greifers" we commonly see in pvp.

2) Will Creature Handlers petsbe affected in a similar way? Will our pets still take heavy vitality loss if used in pvp?

3) What exactly is considered a "faction death" does that mean DB'ed or killed in 3 shots by another TEF or overt player? How about npcs, turrets, or minefields that guard a base, deaths caused by diseases done by Combat medic, or npc faction pets?... are these considered factioned death? Some clarification please... and If CH pets will NOT loose vitality loss, what is their "faction death" specifications.

Again, thank you so much !!!!

95% of you that post on this thread do not pvp, and 95% of what you say is theory, how about PVP'ing some.

Hmm I wouldnt be suprised if alot of people here pvp. I do pretty regularly, even though I lose quite a bit more faction than I gain (horrible win/loss record.)

Being a part time crafter, I think the greatest thing about this change is that I wont have to worry about my high functionality rating crafting kits going down the drain when I PvP (assuming I insure.) That alone makes me wanna jump for joy!

I'm so tired of not knowing the condition on items like crafting kits and repair tools, and what not. At least this way I have a way of preventing them from decaying from my #1 cause of death.

Its not like the resources required to make these things (at high quality) pop up every week ya know!
