Non ch's can have one pet

Non de's can have one droid.

Non Merchants should be able to have 1 vendor.

What are they going to do about the business line under artisan without the ability of having a vendor without going novice merchant???

I already have to novice scout to make camps for breaking out my vehicles and crap, novice medic so I can heal myself otherwise I'm only good for one battle, etc.

If you make this game so that the only way an individual can play it is to team up I won't play this game.

Visit my home vendor in Downtown Honors Keep on Lowca Server - Corellia at wp [2685] [-1260] for resources, Tailored items, as well as other stuff. Shuttle service is available.

I'm not bothering to read every single page of this, so I'll just say my opinion and leave it at that.

I do not think that the price should be raised beyond 3k. Raising the price will not allow more items to be sold, it will inflate the prices of the items already being sold.

I like both ideas. Merchants with unlimited capacity renders moot the idea of limited storage in housing, especially with the 30 day timer. It's just an unlimited size bank as things stand now.

How about giving us the conveinence of Not having to travel to the planet where the item was put up for sale? make some sort of Item transportation system just for the Bazar.

I wouldnt mind seeing the cap get raised though I think I would rather see "premium" bazaars where novice merchants and higher get to sale wears with a higher price cap to anybody that accesses that bazaar, but ofcourse it costs more to sell.

I don't like the idea of limiting the ammount of items sold on a vendor.

I have to agree with removing the cap on the bazaar. However, I have a suggestion that may negate that whole idea. I recommend that all vendors be linked to the bazaar. With this in place, players can go the bazaar to search for any item available from any merchant. I figure if the bazaar can list all the current bazaar items from the entire galaxy, then it should be able to list the ones from all vendors.

Granted, I would still have to run out to each merchants vendor to retrieve my item, but at least I know where I'm going with the waypoints given upon purchase. This will add a great convenience to both merchants and customers. ...and a player won't have to run into each vendor in a 3000m radius looking for that fancy new scatter pistol.

One last thing, an "advertising" fee could be charged to the merchant for this listing on the bazaar. Perhaps a small % of the final sales price. In addition, this could allow the auction ability on private vendor items.

Just my two cents. What do you think?

/agree. That's the main reason I left EQ and took up SWG, and I'll quit SWG without batting an eye if that's where all this nerfing is leading. I refuse to waste my precious time sitting around waiting for a group after they nerfed the game to death and that's all there is left to do that is worth doing anymore. The main appeal of SWG for me was it's diversity. The fact that I could take up a profession, set up a nice shop, and channel my creative energies while at the same time having enough combat skill to go and tank baddies in the Warren to get a new badge is what I love about this game, and all these nerfs are killing that. I won't be able to Master fencing now because I'll have to drop skills to gain enough merchant abilities to place enough vendors to be able to keep my shop running in the way I feel it should be run: with a large inventory in stock and variety for my customers. Bad enough that now I have to compete with the holo-grinders that will use the 6k bazaar cap as a reason to sell Master items for much less than they should be selling for and creating TOO MUCH competition because they have absolutely no business sense. Anyone that thinks these changes won't hurt the legimate shop owners in the game either has no clue about running a business or has never taken up any of the related professions in the game. (Holo-grinding doesn't count, I mean taken one up as your main profession and means of making money/enjoying the game).

Sad to say, but just since this nerf was announced I have already seen my enjoyment of the game dipping. I log in and then proceed to give myself a headache figuring out how I'll cope with all this, and it's certainly not adding to my overall gaming experience. I am not a whiner that threatens to quit every time something happens that I don't like, but I am seriously considering throwing in the towel and looking for another game to play. I'll try to hold out and wait to see if there's a light at the end of the tunnel, but from what I've seen and read here, I highly doubt it. Just like EQ, once again it has been demonstrated that the "Powers that be" don't really care about the peons....their paying customers. Wake up Sony, take a long hard look at your numbers. EQ won't always be the almighty god of MMORPG's and the way it's going I highly doubt SWG ever comes near to that. You cater to new players but you shoot yourself in the foot as the games lose more and more of their long-term appeal and you repeatedly ask your core membership to bend over and take it up the you-know-what as you swing your nerf bat again and again. It's the long-term players that pay the long-term money to play your games. Consider that.

Too bad noone that matters will read this, I'm not sure why I even bothered other than to get it off my chest I guess.

/rant off.

Ummm What is the big deal?

Why not just make combat droids just level 20?

We dont need a Droid Handler Class...Limit the use of each player to one combat droid..

You dont need a Droid handler class Because...A.I. ...Yea A.I. Put a Slaver chip on them and hey Obey you...

No training...They may even be smarter then most of Us..Thank god for slaver Chips...

Now with that being said listen to your customers...Dont let the minority over rule the majority

We dont want another CH class...Thankyou

Ive said this before and I say it againlook at all the Auctions that are being held everyday at the Trade forums. They are only available to the board regulars, which represents about 20% of all SWG gamers as TH has stated before. Why not remove the pricecap on auctions and thereby moving it from the Boards to the ingame GUI. This would make the auction option on Bazaar sales useful instead of redundant.

It will be like living in former Soviet Union. You can buy any size 9 and 1/2 shoe, but couldn't get soap until the next shipment. Don't be ridiculous. Don't try and FORCE crafters to take up making one type of item to place on theirvendor, so that YOU feel that everyone has a chance to participate in the game or because the database is broken. EVERYONE does participate. FIX the database. That is all I have to say, thank you, if by any chance that you have looked at this reply, for your time.

and look at this what does this sound like?

A MONOPOLY. if each crafter has to start doing just one item type then each will become the ONLY supplier for it and create a MONOPOLY. uh isnt this what you are trying to avoid here?

So much for a Smuggler revamp, maybe they should just rename us, it would take less time and be easy to do.
"Useless" would be my first choice as a name suggestion.

of course at this point there is no reason to revamp anything. SOE should just shut the game off.

I am all for the price cap increase to 6K on Bazaar items. With the inflation of vendor prices, this change is long overdue! My ranger character would definitely thank you. Finally I would be able to sell a decent quantity of meat hide and bone without having to get a house and vendor.

Furthermore I agree that the price cap on auctions should be removed entirely. Right now they are more about who bids 3K first then who gives the highest bid. (And it may even bring down the price on holocrons finally. lol.)

The item limits on the bazaar are good. They aren't so resrictive that you can't make a decent profit yet it keeps users from having to page though pages and pages of another guys items before they ever see mine.

The limit to 150 items on vendors is absolutely ridiculous. My tailor business would be ruined. I'd prefer it the way it is. At least don't make it anything lower than 500. Besides if you had to limit items on vendors you should've thought about that before giving us so many items and variations. We need the space.

Besides that, I use my vendor for additional storage. Without it I'd be using my house for storage and thus would have to give up decorations. I don't know about anyone else but I hate seeing player houses just used for storage; i like seeing them decorated as they would be in the actual Star Wars universe. Without vendors for storage, I suspect you'd be seeing many more junk houses around than there are already! If you do put any itemcap on vendors, please increase the item cap on player houses and the bank by at least 100 items each.

Credit cap on bazaar - agree

150 item limit on vendors - strongly disagree

Armorsmith - one set of composite armor is 9 pieces. So i can only put 16 sets of composite armor on one vendor??? Only 2 sets at a time in 8 main colors? You gotta be kidding me!! If you do that, I want more vendors for being a Master Merchant...

I believe 150 is waaaay too low. Maybe 400 as an upper limit.
