I'd by quite happy if all you people who are complaining about this leave the game. They made it veyr clear from the development, way before beta, that they were going to restrict the number of Jedi in the game and stay at least close to the story line.
But now everybody and their dog thinks they have the right to be a jedi because they wrote some AFK macro and finished a bunch of professions just for the sake of finishing them? What ever happened to playing the game? First thing I do when I enter a cantina is look for somebody at the keyboard. They are the people I listen to and they are the people I tip. If you're AFK, you're a last resort only.
Maybe if all the people who are just 'grinding professions' leave the game, we'll be left with people who actually consider the game to be playing, not working.

I mastered only 3 professions : Artisan (which I dropped a bit later because I wasn't really interested in this mastery), Weaponsmith (which I still am) and TKA (which I still am too). I mastered them quite a while ago : the first one, Weaponsmith, right after profession badges were implemented, the second one, Artisan a short while after that (easy when you've mastered Weaponsmith), and TKA 5 months ago, because I was beginning to get bored doing only ressource surveys and crafting, and wanted to go on hunts and to dungeons with my friends.
I never used any macro to master these professions, as I consider playing the game to be more important than actually achieving some kind of uberness.
I never hologrinded (even though TKA was my first, and only ever opened, holo profession) because I thought grinding professions in order to become a Jedi was completely stupid and didn't respected the Jedi philosphy.
Yet I still think I deserve the opportunity to enjoy this new patch I paid for. Until now I haven't been able to because it is rid with bugs and misconceptions, most the notably the one that is the source of the frustration we're venting off here.

this works both ways.. if you want to stop seeing us whiners cry about something we were told we were going to get, you can quit the game too

yea 3rd day and still no old man i only sleep for 15 hours for 2 days but all waiting.. shuttling, loogin outi login in, just waiting in the wilderness forages, tried everything. I was glowy before the pub10.. Itwill be the time to get really pissed ofunless I get no old man today. It is stupid, I am paying for playing game, I do not care for server traffic... If there is one, upgrade it or optimize it. WE ARE PAYING FOR IT, and already waited too long....!!!! No other MMORPG has such a sillyness at all, I think you DEVs are holding to MIGHTY STAR WARS title, but that does not save you to last, that is the most inconvience situation in the MMORPG history, "ingaaaaaa our servers are keeping crashing, snif snif...."...

Dude,
I think its now if we leave the game now its when we leave the game. I for one am canceling tired of bad communication, mystery,
changing the rules midstream, bugs never being fixed. When we leave the game there will be no game by the way.

am glad the old man is bugged hahaha i hope he satys buged as for pre unlokers yeah you deserve some credit but i dont see why you should get to see the old man first i chose to play the game properly by getin the toon i wanted tkm smug an doin quests in the game u hologrinders dident help out the comunity all the chefs weaponsmiths artisans arcutects smugglers armoursmiths and docs sould get more credit than all of u hologrinders they made this game possible with out them the game wouldnt have got anywhere so give some credit to the ppl who actually played the game

I've seen the old man, been given the force crystal, been to the city still cant get access. Been to a shrine, wont let me meditate. Where do i go from here?

you have to wait for to sith pirates to attack you and then loot them to get 2 datapads, 1 will give u a wp to a sith pirate camp which u need to kill and loot again and then u will get another 2 disc and 1 will to u to go to dathomir and see the lady who will then tell you to go to the village,
btw im also waiting for the 2 sith pirates to soawn and attack me also.

How long is the wait for the Sith? I have run around doing whatever waiting for them (almost 24hrs now) what were you doing when they jumped you? And where were you?

TH youre a liar, thanks for wasting my time and stringing me on with this pos game, i unlocked what exactly after pub 9? angst? stress? waiting? yeah, oh and great system by the way, totally fair that non unlockers get visits. thanks for nothing and ill now keep my 15 bucks a month thankyou very much.

Ok, again i have to tell this to another person. Do not tell me or anyone else how to play this game. We all pay the same price. Also, how did you master your profs? Did you not grind somewhat? So by your logic, you should quit. Some ppl are just so ill informed, it makes me sick. I did 14 profs. Yes i grinded them, but don't assume that i have not been playing the game, just because i grinded profs. This is true for all grinders. They all play the game too. They just wanted a jedi, so they could "play" the game to it's fullest. Oh, and as far as helping the community, if it was not for the grinders, driving the economy everytime they had to do a new prof, then alot of other ppl would not be able to play, or make as much creds as they did from the grinders, thus, the economy would be weaker, as we will find out soon. And for you getting more credit for not grinding, and "playing" as you call it, you must be joking. Here is an example of how dumb your logic is "You say to your teacher, when you did not write any tests, hey teacher, i should be rewarded with a passing grade, even though i did not write any of the tests, i was in all the classes, i socialized, i listened, i had fun, so pass me. See how ridiculous this sounds, that is how you sound
