Id personnally really like to put an imperial flag or twoin my house, just like the ones that are outside the mission terminals and what not. Those things are cool.

Future quests!

I planned this to go somewhere else, but how about the following:

X number of {hours, or hours_logged_on} receive E-Mail from NPC along the lines of:

"I heard about your exploits in {dungeon_name}, would you be willing to help me with the following: " (which may or may not use an item from the dungeon itself). Attach a waypoint to the E-Mail.

Other than that, how about some Music Sheets that for future songs and/or dances?

I know what would be cool. All these missions to 'deliver an imperial uniform' as a rebel, etc.. WHy not something to wear? No stats necessarily, or maybe half the stats of the real earned item, or something. And MORE armor types..I saw a rebel commando in green scout armor, and joined the rebels because at the time (day 5 of being online) I assumed that must have been marine armor, after all he WAS a Rebel Specforce Marine...and then I finally SEE some of the stuff...

Sorry SOE..but it's STUPID LOOKING. Lol, I don't know about you, but I went with composite, sure it looks like a fanboi Guyver suit made of duct tape, but at least it's not that putrid pea-soup color, and doesn't look like a discarded enemy for Megaman. How about some schematics, maybe a mission 'Have x amount of suits made for the rebel cause' and then have the schematic like 3-5 units over the limit? Got to let crafters get something too, or they'd never make anything. Or have schematics for Trooper armor, or scout armor, but have it require rare, looted resources, keeping both hunters and crafters in the loop.

Barring items like that- how about new badges, clothing, faction rewards, etc. If someone builds a prototype A-wing, then why shouldn't they get a deed to get one free when the space expansion is out..or a schematic to make one? And Entertainers- how about a collar, or a replica of leia's outfit, for dancing at Jabbas...Or a unique instrument. Entertain at Vader's place, maybe something fancy. or complete the Emperor's missions, and get so many faction points, can get the title 'Royal guard' and get a suit of the Red royal guard armor? There's a TON of really cool faction perks, and other ideas, that no one's used in Galaxies. Instead of buying uniforms and armor with faction..have them an earned reward. Have an imperial training facility, you go there, complete the missions, when done you have an EE3 carbine, and a full suit of stormtrooper armor. It's more 'rp' than kill x amount of random enemies while they out running deliveries, and get a pair of pants'. Sorry, but I doubt the Empire trained it's huge horde of soldiers by having them storm Anchorhead 3 times a day. and make ATSTs and such a quest reward for Vader or the Emperor, not something someone can do deliveries for a month and buy. It takes the thrill out of them. I know my first thought seeing one was 'awesome! Cool!' then it blew me up. LMAO. But now it's just 'Oh joy. ANOTHER one. Here we go again..shoot, it will get stored before it blows up'. It's monotonous. and what about captured AT-STs for rebels, or stolen stormtrooper armor, or uniforms. Han and Luke got to wear stormtrooper armor, I want it too! lol.

No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.

I don't know if someone has already said this or not, but schematics as rewards would be cool. Take it to your local crafter and get them to make some rare item that can only be made once or twice before that schematic is destroyed.

Here is the loot I'm looking for:

1) ONE-TIME USE schematics for weapons that I can give to my weaponsmith.

2) Components for weapons (you have already done this).

3) Rare decorative items for houses (there is already much of this floating around and it is highly desired)

4) Badges (it's amazing what people will do for a badge)

5) Unique Clothing (many people are going to Endor for the Maurauder Armor)

6) A Unique Pet (NOT a powerful pet, just a cool low level one that is cute looking and unique)

7) An extra skill point or two (I bet players would spend weeks to earn that. Probably the most valuable thing on this list.)

8) Access to an area that is part of the movies or the EU.

9) Rare ingredients for the Chefs to use in their food.

10) Special items that you can take to the Image Designers that will unlock new hairstyles (one time use only)

11) Instrument schematics for musicians (once again, one time use ... if you make them multiple use only a few people will do the quest)

12) A new title to put over your name (another thing that would be very popular ... could you imagine how many people would do a quest to put the "Defender of Alderaan" tag over their name?)

You're a fricken GENIUS!

Add to the Loot tables:

LARGE QUANTITIES OF HIGH QUALITY RESOURCES.

Quantities of about 1000 units.

Make them better than any resource of this type that has spawned on the server.

I personally think this resource loot should not be dropped by NPCs, but rather should be in the Chests/magseal containersin the caves all over the Galaxy. Make each chest spawn once for each player, so groups have incentive to explore caves, but not to ace them over and over.

I'm going to say this once, and once only:

This is a company, one that is out to make money, so banning people who hadn't done anything wrong would be really dumb since it would mean that we would be losing money. So before you just believe someone who says they are being wrongfully punished take a moment and reflect.

Also, ranting/flaming and attacking customer service isn't going to fly on these boards so any further posts about it will result in the suspension of that person's forum account.

I think you'll find that eye candy is the best reward. Anything that isnt craftable yet is unique is something worth questing for.

How about fixing the loot drops when grouped for starters, we have to have someone disband from groups just to loot mobs most times.

After that, I think trophies are the best, Wall paintings, sculptures, heck even trading cards. Or how about chess set pieces or something along those lines, maybe even different fishing poles..

The animal enhancments to armor/weapons has already led to krayt camping....Lets try to steer away from these type drops

Make enhancement tapes and panels work. (along with making the math correct when you log out and log back in with them instead of deducting them)

Make unique items ... color them something unique - have a unique name. Example even if it is Jabba's Communicator

Give badges, trophies and titles for compleating large quests.

And a high power item that is fragile or only has a limited amount of uses and can not be obtained again once you got the above title or badge does not compeat with crafters.

No armor. Give the wookies a break. :-)

I've seen lots of ideas that just equate to "I want my character to be more powerfull so give me a better weapon, armor, etc." I think that's the wrong way to go. It'll just cause escalation. Krayt tissue already did that.

And if you have to give out armor and/or weapons don't make them better than ones that exist. It might be nice to have a unique gun that not everyone would want to use but some would and others would put it on the wall as a trophy.

I think the schematic idea would lead some crafters to steal the item or charge outrageous prices to make it.

Ideas I like:

House decorations - and the hunting trophies would be nice. Heads on walls. :-)

Clothing - but once again if it's nice everyone will have it and again wookies will get shorted.

Viewable badges and/or titles.

Faction points and/or skill points.

Anything temporary such as power-ups. Someone could be uber for one-hundred shots. Shouldn't break the game too bad unless the quest is easy and/or repeatable.

Oh, don't make the quest repeatable!

I didnt read this whole line of posting, and am not sure if its been said yet, but one thing I really liked was those trophy heads in Jabba's place. Any kind of unique, hard earned decoration for the house is always well received and by the looks of it many people agree.

I am also all for a unique schematic. I know if I see something unique, i just have to have it! And of course the more involved, the greater the sense of accomplishment.

Unique ID capable things would be awesome(tattoos, hairstyles or other markings).

Here's a way to keep crafters integral: add new crafting schematics, but make them be loot drops and/or mission rewards. Then combat-oriented players could go hunting, collect new schematics, and sell them to crafters, who could use them to make new items to sell back to the other players. It'd add a whole new level of depth to the economy.
