TH you are making a huge mistake here. I can't express how angry melee people are going to be if this BS about warcry makes it live. It will be the death of the melee professions.
Master (combat profession)/ Master Doc or Master (combat profession) / Master CH.. mind you before combat stacking.. Pets were viable tanks of course a sane player nowadays doesn't choose to go CH unless for fun.
DEVS DESIGNED those defense mods so melee players can TANK!.. now what are the devs thinking?.. no tanks?
OMG doctors can buff over 2 k, revive and heal people.. nerf the docs.
OMG combat medics can poison and disease.. nerf the cms.
OMG squad leaders can get bonus to defense mods to groups.. nerf the squad leader.
OMG bio engineers can make uber pets.. nerf the bes.
OMG rangers can maskscent.. nerf the rangers.
OMG image designers can change the lekkus.. nerf the ids.
OMG architects can make nice harvesters.. nerf the arches.
OMG chefs can make cool food.. nerf the chefs.
OMG armorsmiths can make good armor.. nerf the armor.
OMG weaponsmiths weapons are too good.. nerf the weapons.
OMG etc.. etc.. etc..
oh yeah.. while we're at it.. lets nerf the jedi too.
heck what's the point of going up separate trees if we are just going to all be equal to each other?
if the devs wanted 32 professions... let us play them... if the devs only wanted us to have only 1 combat profession.. they should not let players have that option period. btw.. Im only a Master Swordsman / ex holo grinder.. so I don't stack.. Just let people make templates. Otherwise half the population is going to become master combat profession / master doc for the uber pvp build.

Fire Blankets will give Doctors the ability to extinguish flame with a /extinguishflame command that will enable the use of the fire blanket
this should also be a combat medic thing. we are the one's getting dirty in "COMBAT". leave the doc's in the med center and street corner with their droids doing their little buffs and such.
Being a ranger now i am concerned about camps and what usefullness these will have in the NEAR future as well as our forage ability which is that same no matter how high you get (get 1 item.. sometimes 2 and the same stuff at every level).
Camps now not being needed is great! but please add a function to camps or explian thier role in the game after patch 7.

The HAR will be improved in this patch too - - remember, these are only the major features. Also keep in mind (sing it with me) Its coming in the combat balance....
All the combat changes will make sense at that point. (Its in progress...)
Don't you think, it is a little stupid, to "balance" something, than put the half of it to the game and say, "oh, the other half is coming in 1 month, then it will make sence!"
That means, we have to play another month with an unbalanced game. It is just unbalanced in another way...
We have to learn every month new stats and tactics, just to get the other unbalanced things work somehow.
Why dont you let it as is, balance it and than put everything at once in the game?

Docs are pretty involved in combat, too. They have to be, in order to counter your overpowered AoE poisons/diseases.

Not too bad for GCW especially the no longer of stacking defense mods, how about a lock for the front doors of HQ's to prevent enemies from burst running inside bypassing 99% of defenses? Have a requirement for an overt enemy smuggler have to "hot wire" the lock open for a period of say 20 seconds? Higher slicing skill the better the success rate?
This patch is a DISASTER for me. Weaponsmithing will be totally nerfed to hell and beyond. I also playA Master Swordsman, and will cop a Warcry MASSIVE NERF!
Thunderheart, the crafting changes are disasterous. They were rejected once, and I will work darn hard to ensure they are rejected again.

Yeah, right. Combat Medics are always about 120m away throwing their AoE poisons/diseases. Docs have to stay right up next to the rest of the team so they can try to keep some of them cured.
