Some general comments:

Pros:

1) The loot items look awesome from what I have seen

2) Something non hardcore people can work towards

3) Good at redistributing wealth

Cons:

1) Only one really, and that is that people are AFKing for it while people who are actively working for it are getting less loot. If crystals should have proved something is that valuable loot items should NOT be obtained through wimpy 500 HAM mob who can be AFKed en mass. Scale the odds of loot dropping based on the mob, and make it so "autospawn" mobs never drop them.

Other than that, great job.

Were you able to locate the Junk dealer in the main guild hall?

Yes very easy

Have you tried to complete a loot kit?

Yes i tried. I have bought and found alot of the parts but it seems that some parts are not dropping. I have spoken with alot people in my server that are collecting the loot kits and they are missing same items. It seem the Adhesives in all tool kits are not been drop and also the large glass for the glass table top. They either not dropping or dropping very very rare.

I have 44/50 items and not a complete one.

I just looted the large glass top on Starsider, about 3 minutes ago. I agree though, those items (especially the adhesives) seem REALLY hard to find, judging by the trade forum.

I don't mind the rarity of the drops themselves. Putting together near complete sets of all 5 items over the last week has been an enjoyable challenge.

It's the super-rarity of the Adhesive parts that really stinks. I've gotten every part for all 5 items nearly twice now and still not a single adhesive. If the drop rate of just the adhesives was brought up to the same level of the other parts that would make these kits a nice balance of rarity with completability.

Obviously TH is not gonna post any info in here... they NEVER post in the "Feedback" threads!

But... here goes...

Did I locate a Junk Dealer in the Main Guild Hall??? I've been playing a year and I've NEVER found a Junk Dealer in a Guild Hall... but I found a Junk Dealer and got a kit.

Have I tried to complete it? I've killed over 1000 NPC's of varying difficulties since the Patch, although I didn't go to the Corvette or DWB w/ an Army... you know how many pieces I've got?? ONE... and it's not for the Kit that I have!

You get 1000 credits from the Junk Dealer if you return the completed item to them?? Pieces are selling for 150k!

Tedious Time Sink! Are the FS/Jedi Quests going to be like this.... minimal drop/spawn rates... so that it takes a year??? That'll certainly fix the overload of Jedi problem you've created! But we won't care... we'll still be trying to find pieces to makea rug!

Risk/Work vs Reward????? Let me take 6 months to make an item for my house or sell to a Junk Dealer for 1000 Credits???

I think it's great that you are striving for more content.

I do however have to say I have been a bit dissapointed with the loot drops in general. I've killed at least 1000 NPC's of many types over the last couple of months, and not one skill tape or armor attachment or anything better than a CDEF pistol or equivalent.

Someone had a treasure map we followed it and what do ya know, another CDEF pistol, and some other valueless junk.

What would be cool is to have these look kits generate something valuable. If people have to get many parts and put them together, the items should be worth at least 50k-100k.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I intended to be.

Thunderheart,

I acquired my look kit with no trouble. I then proceeded to pick up half of my pistol 4 (Marksman) skill, and all of the first three Rifle skills, as well as complete the first 9 Jabba's Palace theme park quests, all killing exclusively humanoid enemies, and all without finding a single item for my Blue Rug loot kit.

I have to agree. With two players going at it for almost a week straight now, we've still not completed a single loot kit - and my household has four accounts. Prices for individual loot kitcomponents are now exceeding prices for vehicles on the Valcyn server.

Could you perhaps increase the drop rates on the loot tables for humanoid NPCs? In addition, could you flag the items that can be used in a loot kit as such? This is a wonderful idea, and I'd like to see you guys expand on it to create even more diverse and interesting loot kits.

More Loot Kit ideas:

- A dye kit for clothing (perhaps 4 charges?)

Please, no. Tailors on Valcyn are encountering flatter and flatter business curves due to the whole "5 seconds per piece of armor" delay. Far fewer players bother to wear clothes and just keep their armor on constantly. The color variation, especially the fact that tailors "earn" color choices as they progress, keep tailors in business. If tailors had another way in which to differentiate their wares in terms of quality (abilities, experimentation, quality, etc.), perhaps. Since they don't, this idea would just kill tailors - with all of the loot clothing being dropped these days, who'd shop with a tailor if you could just dye it yourself? As it is, there's loot clothing being dropped that tailors can't produce.

- A spoiler, hood ornament,or other decoration for player vehicles

Lovely idea. How about storage?

- A decorative attachment for droids

What, exactly?

- +Skill items to plug into clothing and armor slots

How about fixing them first? Perhaps the ability to use ALL of the stats on a given clothing or armor attachment, or perhaps having them be cumulative instead of "biggest one wins"? Right now, +1 attachments, clothing or armor, are next to useless without some way of having their bonuses accumulate.

- A unique weapon powerup that lasts 200 shots

Again, lovely idea.

Please continue to develop ideas like this - additional player activities only helps the game, and as long as the rewards are kept interesting, players will feel that these types of activities are worth pursuing.

And hey, how about some more low- to mid-level quests

Please - MANY more. Especially if they provide individualized or interesting rewards. It's all well and good that the Death Watch Bunker exists for the 40-player groups that go there in order to almost make it through once, but for the solo player this game lacks content- how about instanced missions (similar to that of the Corvette) for players who aren't in a group (and who cannot join one after the mission is accepted until either the mission is completed or aborted?)

In the past couple of weeks, I've played a lot and haven't been able to find many either. I've asked the team to look at the spawn rates and I'm hoping we'll be able to get thoseadjusted soon.

Don't you (the DEVs) think, we are tired to hear this all the time?

Why aren't you able to get ANYTHING working for the first time?
If it does not work, why do you publish it?
What are your payed tester doing? They had to notice, that they do not find anything after playinga week...
