Neatly thought out. I always thought that someone caught in severe weather condition (like a sand-storm on Tatooine) ought to have some disadvantages like partial blindness or even damage.

Dont waste the effort to type. The devs dont care one bit. If they still havent got all the proffessions sorted our after a year or or more of live then expecting stuff like encumberance or in fact anything beyond the combat nerf, the jedi population explosion and EnB with stars wars graphics expansion, it just wont happen.
I believe its been 9 months since the rangers where told they had new traps and graphics ready but nothing has appeared apart from stealth nerfs to there skills, or degrading of there skills due to food buffs and droids.
The jedi patchs should be junked! and they should sort the game as it stands before adding more junk thats got bugs. They espically need to sort the CS section out, they are the worst versions of cut & paste bots I've ever had the misfortune to have to contact.

The biggest problem in this game are spammers shouting all the time. In the Terms of Service you said that this is prohibited (abuse of spatial), but there are lot of people doing this and is uncontrolable.
I have read that in publish 9 you can ignore spatial of AFKs, but sincerely, I think that this don't resolve the problem (everyone will shout without AFK).
My idea is to delay spatial for shouters, to not deactivate entirely the shout. Every shout must deactivate spatial for 5 minutes to the shouter. If he shout again just passed 5 min, it be delayed 10 min, etc
Same with repetitive says. If someone said the same thing 3 times in 5 min, he is delayed.
I know that this system (that can be optimized) suposes a lot of programming (or not too much), but is the best problem in the game, and I think you must put your attention in this issue. Too many people crash his game when enter in Coronet, or other places with a lot of shouters, because them has a not so good computer, but they have the same right to play as the people that have a good computer.
Before I updated my computer, I crashed 2 or 3 times in Coronet until I can walk. If I ignored people, I not crashed, but is dificult ignore a lot of people each time you go Coronet.
Think in this guys.

To me this game will not really feel like Star Wars till we have atmospher flight ... larger variety of ground ships like Jaba's

I hear alot of people sayin that they want Jedi to be correct to time period.
So, how about more renegade type Jedi:
They don't follow the religon as strict as the one's before them
They don't talk like philosiphers
No Robes... Maybe specific armor for them but really...
They should act more covert
What they're able to do shouldn't be restricted. They can own houses, make money, and still be own the lightside.
Maybe, Maybe not.

I would like to see DEV run events. I come from UO. I think if you polled any player from around the year 2000 they would tell you their most exciting game time was centered around Seer run events. Seers would script storylines and be able to spawn during official events. I even once skipped work to be part of the Battle of Trinsic event. The biggest mistake UO ever made was dropping seers.
When I was in SWG beta I heard the rumor we would be able to be part of the Battle of Hoth. I guess this was a myth. I see alot of players complain about content. I think most of this has to do with players wanting to not just be immersed into the Star Wars universe, but be immersed into the story of Star Wars. Not everyone can become Luke and destroy the Death Star. But we could all choose a side and engage in the epic battle with DEVs and programmers or other real players playing the major characters. Just think of the fun you (the DEVs)would have also
The biggest challenge of the Seers in UO was to come up with a decent script for an event. Star Wars already has the script. We might know how it ends already, but it would be great to say I was there.
I would like to see maybe one DEV run event every 3-6 months. When the time line reaches the end of the movies there are a gazillion excellent novels. There has to be more to Star Wars than going to a spawn to kill stuff. I want to become part of the story

How about give us access to more in game variables and some flow control in macro scripts?
Then the ability to have a few player NPCs?
I'll bet you will find some rather amazing behavures from the player programmed NPC.

Hi just a few questions and ideas.
Over the time ive been playing all types of MMORPGs, there seems to be missing something in this one, theres no proffession quests (apart from RIS quest for armoursmiths) but no real story based Prof. based quest.
Quests could have rewards only for there Prof. but only a master can do and use. example would be a master Bounter hunter does a Prof.based quest that gets him to track down not kill a Rogue squadron (RS) pilot, this leads to a where abouts of a hidden base, you then have to choose who to report this finding to but you need proof, An imp commander or Jabba the hutt ( reason for jabba is the location of Han solo think big reward) or do you give it to Boba fett ( this could lead to unlocking more missions for boba). Three different paths to go down and a player can only choose one (so that not all bounty hunters get the same reward,loot, gift) Its not over yet, If you choose Imp you must Kill the RS leader and the General of the base ( On when completed your reward is 1000 fps, 16k, and All New Imp jetpack or New Imp Adv Probot or New a piece of scout armour) If you choose Jabba then you must track/follow one member of the RS to where han solo is hiding ( when you have proof return back for your reward, 20k and All New Skiff or IG-88 bounty hunter droid) If you work for Boba you do the same as Jabba but the reward is 16k and all new Dual pistols or a piece of bounty hunter armour)
There are many things that people can do many paths for masters,
Smuggler - Jabba, Borvo, Valarian, Rebel quests - Reward New slicing droid, Landspeeder hiddin container (for smugglering) the ability to being spice to jabba and sell it for credits, things like that.
Brawlers elite Prof.- Quest for anyone - Reward New weapons, New cloths ( with hidden protect like the new jedi robes), New armour for there prof.
Marksmen elite Prof. - Quest for anyone - Reward New weapons, New cloths ( with hidden protect like the new jedi robes), New armour for there prof.
ETC i could go on and on the possiblies are endless.
Next question is we need feed back on GCW and what ideas you have at the moment????
WE need new armour designs for Comp or a new type of armour which has same stats as comp,
A tailor needs to be able to make Leather padded armour giving us a lightweight armour.
Will there be anymore quests like Deadeye project????
Will we be getting any new caves (not like Geo or DWB) for low level players or medium players or hard core players, A sort of Cave mission terminal, with good loot inside, but only you or your group can enter, may be on the planet Lok or Talus????
Please let us Know more about these things as soon as possible....Thanks

Dedicated PvP Server Idea
In Everquest, there are a few servers that are DEDICATED to PvP. Now, while you CAN PvP on ANY server... the difference is that everyone is bascially "perma-overt" on the PvP servers.
That could work VERY well in SWG. Make it something like this:
Three factions: Rebel, Imperial, Neutral
Overt status: Permenant
You'd have to modify it to allow Neutral players to have a sort of "overt" status where they can attack and be attacked. But basically, we'd have 3 "teams". Neutral, Rebel, and Imperial. And anyone from any team could attack anyone from one of the other two teams at any time. (The standard 1 minute zoning time should apply). There should be some neutral areas where people cannot attack each other.
The other option would be to remove the Neutral faction completely, and require people to choose either Rebel or Imperial. It seems more realistic to have 3 factions, though.

I would like to see the tusken fort returned to it's one time glory. I liked the every other uber spawn that it had. I liked getting my butt handed to me by carnage champs and the rest. It was awesome.... now we only get chiefs, captains and warlords. I solo them in about 10 seconds.. and that's with 3 of them on me. I know we can go to the tusken bunker and find the other ones, but the spawn rate is like an hour long.. I want the tusken fort to be harder... NO SUPER BATTLEDROIDS PLEASE!!! Just re-add the super tuskens like it was... shouldn''t be too hard for you.

This may not be the area but I was wondering if SWG was going to be designed for Apple Computers in the future. It seems that we are short changing the player pool by excluding them.
