I'd like to know if there are currently any plans to improve the performance of the graphics and sound engines of the game. Right now they're very glitchy and even when they do work they don't work well. Is any manpower being devoted to streamlining or improving either graphics or sound engines or to fixing existing bugs which haven't so much as been acknowledged as far as I can tell?

For the love of all that's holy, *please* fix the bug introduced in publish 6 that opens up the help windows when the datapad is opened, regardless of just how many times that 'show help' box is unchecked it comes back.

This is my stale mate....

I've found that with the server I play on, I'm having this much of a problem.

Many would agree that SWG is still in it's newbord stage. New things come very often (How wonderful that is!) But with the populations growing so fast on all servers, I'm finding it exceptionaly hard to start my own little control of the galaxie. It's nearly impossible to place a city. Seems the number of cities were raised recently per planet, but we still have the lack of space.

Current rules say that if you are building a city, you must be 1000m away from another capital. Well this would be possible had not most all capitals take the very center of placable space thought the terrane.

Im finding that if I place on what little land I can find, within the radius I'm givin to place, I might be over lucky if I can place 10 houses there to maintain the capital. That, so far, I've not found. So let alone 20 or more to be able to aquire the second radius that will alow us to place more.

I dont have a problem with people. I have more than enough in our guild now to place a city. But so far we're squished in little corners of planets or on others alltogether.


Suggestions I have are perhaps changing the radius of city's so that you could have a wider area alowing you to at least place whats needed for the next radius, or lower the overall needed space from 1000m to 500m to place between capitals.

The latter would have a great competition standpoint between guilds/cities and the like.

So to see who would get the bigger chunk of lanf, they could co-exist or battle for space. Or gripe alot about it..

The games growing fast, at least on Eclips it is. Dont forget those of us that wanna rule instead of being ruled.

I could speak about CH being broken... the pointlessness in have unarmed 4 to get commando and smuggler... and a lot of other stuff... BUT what I really would like to have done is:

FIX THE HOLOCRON!! by holocron i do not mean these small boxes that are implemented in the wrong way and makes people go crazy... i mean the ctrl+H command... the in game help... there is almost NO USABLE INFORMATION... that sux... PLEASE expand it to cover more of the game...

IndeedI wuld like to know as well. What i have found very annoying is the "background rendering" of SWG, even if i stand againt a wall in coronet my fps will improve just a frame or two. Are there any plans to fix that or will we allways have 12 FPS in Coronet. I consider my comp as a high-end gameing machine (768MB CAS2.5 DDR running together with OC'ed AMD barton 2500MHz & ATI Radeon 9700PRO). But SWG doesnt seem to be very optimized to run smoothly on any computer, my guild mates tell me that thay have similar FPS to mine even on mutch slower computers.


What will happen to the current buggs, i culd count tons of them, many havent been fixed for a very long time but new have been added. Why you devs start making an expantion for SWG (witch will prolly bring 10000000 new bugs) instead of fixing and optimizing current release.???

I think you're doing a great job, adn I sincerely hope you don't pay too much attention to people who think being abusive will help anything.

One simple question which I think may clear a lot of the current confusion:

Is there any plans for an In-Concept or In-Development thread for the long term plan for balancing Wookiees? We know that increasing them to AR1 is just a temporary fix, but we'd like a hand in setting up the long term solution.

I wondered the same thing when I saw it happen, so I rubbed my eyes, pinched myself, and read it again very carefully and slowly. I had indeed received about 25k Healing xp. I spoke with a CSR last night, and he verified that there is a visual bug with xp at the moment where you will stop seeing the updates (even though it continues to update) .. although there seems to be two separate issues on this, because in the case of the Entertainer Healing XP, I was not getting the messages at all for a lengthy period of time, then suddenly everything "caught up" .. whereas with the Tailor, Combat, Scout, and Trapping xp, I was still getting the xp messages in my HUD, but my xp bars had gone stagnant. In all cases where that happened, logging out and back in fixed it, which is also what the CSR told me to do.
