i agree. why cant they make something that works? oh, right. they're SOE...nevermind. Its all so clear now. I know about 10 people who will be leaving SWG to play battlefront. They jsut dont see it as being worthwhile anymore.

Ive just read your response to all those who are annoyed about the phases not being active when the Devs said they would.
You are saying that everyone who bought this game expects to get Jedi immediately and that we think its Jedi Academy..
How about those of us that have played since Beta3 and only bought the game for the intention of being one of the Jedi on the server.
The reason I'm so pissed off is because YET AGAIN... the devs have not delivered on something that they have already said will happen.
The crowning turd in the pile is that they wont even acknowledge that its been delayed or why.. or even say how long its been delayed.
This means that basically the Devs can hold back Phase2 for as long as they see fit... its a good way of slowing down the influx of initiates that
are going to be around in the next 4 or 5 weeks isnt it..
The policy of the CSR's is that they cant even comment on phase inquiries... Thats bull.
Its not a question of how you do something.. its just some sort of confirmation of why its been delayed.
There are a lot of suggestions that its been delayed because people were bugged with the first phase quests... does that mean everyone else on the server has to wait for a handful of people..
If someone goes to the Village for the first time NOW and finds their quest bugged... does that mean they will have to fix another bug and delay it even further???
This is meant to be PHASE2.. right now..
I for one am pissed as hell about it... Just because they cant work out a system to restrict Jedi they throw in "delays" to slow it down.
Your guaranteed that by Xmas they will realise that this is a mistake and change the system again..
Idiots..

I guess expecting people to read and understand plain english is expecting too much.
Yes you are the only person that sees it just that way. It could mean same faction grouped or ungrouped, or same guild but different faction (still allied right?) grouped or ungrouped, or same group but different faction.
I guess expecting people to realise that not everyone is so skilled in the use of the english language, nor everyone is english born speaker, is expecting too much
You're making it more complicated than it has to be. Most of the confusion on these boards is from people doing that.
If she meant people in your group or people in your guild she would have said "groupmate" or "guildmate" or something along those lines.
Since she said "allied PC" she obviously did not mean only members of your guild becauseallies that belong toyour factionwho are notmembers of your guild would not be included in that definition. Plus you can have an opposing faction member in your guild and I don't think that would be considered an ally, since theybelong tothe opposing "enemy" faction. Same goes for peoplein your group. We have to assume that she meant people that are in your faction, because no matter if they are in another guild or another group, people in your faction are always your allies.
If english is not your first language or if you were having any trouble understanding, I hope this helped. ![]()
Now for my complaint.
Since today is Sept 21, 2004 exactly 3 weeks after the release of Publish 10, why has phase 2 of the Jedi Trials not begun. CSR's short for "Customer Serice Representitives" are not answering our questions, in fact they are not even acknolladging our presence when this question is asked. On this case I am very disappointed with your Customer Service. At the very least I would expect an "I'm sorry sir I can't answer that question." or something similar instead of being ignored. This is the third such time since june that I have posed a question to the CSR's and been totally ignored
Now, Today was a patch day and the Patch or Change is more like the word I'm looking for, that we were told that we were going to see is not here. Why not? Is there a problem? Is there going to be a delay? Will someone in this organization please answer the question? I am very disheartened by the lack of communication and customer service I have not recieved. It appears that all that my $15 a month gives me is the opputunity to play the game and thats it. Anything else is not extra but not required. If I have issues or questions they cannot and will not be answered in a timely fashion by the next representitive because they don't want to talk to me.
I expect some respect for the people that pay their monthy dues to play this game from it's employees and to have our questions answered or at the very least acknolladged as a concern.
I would like to have this question answered but if that is not possible I would at they very least like to have it acknolladged by an authorized representitive of SOE.

a dev should know when to not say "3 weeks" then.
I hear you, but that happened prior to this patch too. (at least it happened to me all the time) Sometimes it would let you go over the limit, but often times once you had an extra 10 items over the limit it would do what you described where you couldn't put down an item after you picked one up. I'm not sure why it ever let you go over the limit, but I assume that part was the bug.

While I understand your point, prior to them implenting this patch you could store more than the150/2lotin your house. The day of the patch if you picked anything up in the house you could not putit back down which would demonstratea change and a downward change (nerf) at that.

I took it to mean grouped and I think its safe to say that if someone is grouped with you, they are allied with you. That would be the safest way to go until you hear different. I don't think its faction because there's nothing in the game that keeps factioned bounty hunters from hunting someone of the same faction. And Jedi certainly aren't allied with them!
Also alot of people keep asking for Phase 2. They most likely will not advance it until all the bugs are worked out. This publish is still resolving issues with phase 1. Once the last of these are resolved, expect phase 2. That's the way any program development works.
