Since you're updating "status", can you please fix the network status page, and the network status on the launchpad to include all servers. I know Valcyn is NEVER listed, and I believe there are other servers at well that are skipped.

Thanks for the update this morning.


-deeds for harvesters in inventory have been reset to correct hoppersize.


-droid sounds have returned


-DNA Sampling still completely fubar.. although that was not listed as a fix item, I was hoping it snuck in...


-harvester power consumption is STILL double what it should be - please don't let this one go all weekend!!!

No one else has mentioned the fact that Pets aren't healing correctly while in the Datapad.



For example, I have a GSP that I last used several days ago, and she had gotten incapped. I healed her somewhat, and then stored her. I called her last night, and her HAM was EXACTLY the same as it was when she was stored.



Just food for thought....

My question is for Q or the person watching this forum....


I checked your status page and you still haven't confirmed the issue with structures showing double the amounts for maintenance and/or power. I know what I have seen from my items on Starsider and I know others have seen the same. I understand that you were trying to change the value, but the value changed, but it is still calculating the days by half hour increments. If this is just an matter of it showing us the wrong amount, that is fine, but if I am actually losing this stuff to double the amount, I am growing broke fast on money and power. I currently run 142 lots on my server. I really need something like this resolved or at least a status of what is going on. I can not maintain this type of worry. I also refuse to stop mining for the time being, as this is my main source of income and what I enjoy doing.


If in fact, we are losing double the money and power, will a CSR reimburse us when this issue has been resolved? I have heard of past experiences of where CSR's are not reimbursing, but if your patch caused this, I surely hope that you guys will make this right. Please at least address whether you have confirmed anything about this.

Good job on sorting out the issues apres the last patch, especially the armour as it was getting sillyout there.... I'm a bit dissapointed with the harvester power issue not being resolved though, or being acknowledged.


To help, the way it used to work was -


Medium Harvester - Maint 30 - This wasreported and calculated inhalf hour increments so was in fact 60 per hour (what you have changed it to report to, nice touch)


Medium Harvester - Power 50 - This wasALREADY in hour increments, so changing it to now show 100 per hour was in fact an error, it should have remained the same, unless of course the intention was to double and the power has always been calculated wrong in the past. (I'd like this confirmed or denied as your sucking up all that lovely radioactive I've got at a fast rate)


I've been filling mediumminers with a weeks worth of maintenance and power for months now on wanderhome and I always put in 10,080 Credits and 8400 power units for a new deed. This has always lasted a week.


You need to either.


1. Change the Power back tohalf theUnits per Hour that you've currently set it to, as it always has been for the months I've been playing.


2. Tell us that the power has been calculated wrong in the past and that we have been getting away with using half the power we should have.


Obviously I'd prefer option 1 )

It's just now 8am in Cali. I'm curious what's going to happen today. Lemme make a Good - Bad an Ugly list from this Oct 8th patch.


Good:


1 - Communication from your staff mainly you has increased. I kinda like the way you've made a list and are trying to keep it updated.


Bad:


1 - You are still treating us like we're the bad guys. Everything wesay is wrong you somehow make it seem like we're whining and that we're not playing the game correctly..


2 - Missions need to be looked at seriously across the board. People are going to go broke and quit playing this game. When a game becomes "work" the "fun" is lost. Also fix the CH Profession, you gave us pets, you make us use them as weapons. MAKE them Count when considering us at a mission terminal.. I have to call BUKK**edit**T again.. See a patern here?


2a - Mission payouts NOT PAYING OUT!! Has been discussed in a number of threads. Pre-Patch was working Post-Virus Introduction .. Payouts stink..


3 - Babies spawning period. It seems as though the most "overused" pet in this game has quit spawning babies. The Graul Mauler has not spawned babies on 12 lairs that's I know of for myself. I know what happened last time. You guys "stealth nerfed" the Frenzied Graul and a few others. Came back said it was an accident, then said: we aren't going to reintroduce those babies we found them to powerful. Well to me it looks like you did it again. Again we've been stealth nerfed. Q you said you guys DONT STEALTH NERF.. I call BULLSHIITT!! Fix the babies!!


4 - Mobs warping, this has increaded 100x as a rifleman. I can't even finish your "new mission scaling" because the mobs have started warping on me.. 64m to 0m in less then a .05sec.. C'mon! I'm already hamstrung with 2.5x dmg because I use a T21.. Bah.. I have to do it again.. I call BULL**edit**T!


5 - Seriously bad thing here.. Bank /tips are fubared big time! You should know the problem. You've shut down /bug and csr tickets because of it.


6 - Harvesters! All I have to say is one word Harvesters.. You all know the problem, sounds like someone fixed the way the UI represents it, but didn't fix the value in the code. Used to say :30 now says :1 now it takes DOUBLE the amount. Along with crapping on the mission payouts, the missions themselves you've increaded the cost to run harvesters.. Are you guys really dead set on making everyone broke?


7 - This isn't really a Post-Virus Intoduction, this is a problem that's been going on for awhile....


FIX All the PRE-PATCH Professions!! Screw the new content!! Screw Space!! Screw Mounts and Vehicles!! FIX THE FREAKIN GAME BEFORE YOU GIVE US SOMETHING ELSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!

Hope I didn't spill your coffee with my ranting. Please think about this you've totaly screwed the entire population on all your servers.. Not just one or two professions.. You've BORKED everyone this time.. Some more then others.. But I'll give you props on this virus inroduction.. At least you were fair when you nerfed this time, you got us all

Looks like all the once uber players in the game who thought they had everything figured out, now have to re-figure everything out again... LOL But not without first sharing their spiel with the rest of the SWG community.


Well, it looks like the whole PvP world got what they asked for too!!! No more one hit kills for sure now. It'll just take till next Christmas to kill your opponent. (I don't PvP by the way... But now I might actually try it) Keep the 75% and extra reduction in, I can deal with that. I don't think we will EVER hear the word "nerf" anymore. Anymore nerf's and you guys will be doing 2 digit damages to your opponents...


I'm so content right now. The PvP world has just been hit with the biggest backfire of all times. Hehehe Leave PvP the way it is. This is great

What are you babbling about? The AT-ST pet did get nerfed, big time. So now, not only are we screwed over on mission level, but our pet is pathetic. So really, only the CH made out on this supposed "fix" in that their pets weren't gimped. How about instead of screwing over players because you didn't code things properly to begin with, you actually fix what you did wrong? I know its an outlandish thought, but run with it and see how it goes...

I don't know if specific information has been provided on this yet or not, but there's what I've found on the food buff bug:

i) my initial focus is 400/400
ii) an ormachek delves that it buffs focus by +96/230s

1) eat an ormachek
2) my focus is now 400/496, and remains that way for 230s
3) 230s later, my focus becomes 304/400, and remains that way permanently

Now, obviously the problem is in step (2) here. For some reason certain food items are not properly buffing secondary stats when initially applied. They increase the max value w/o increasing the current value. It's not all food that has this bug, since a tatooine sunburn seems to buff properly. I won't speculate on the cause of this bug, just present some details on it's effect. In addition, I've noticed other stat-loss issues. For example, the other day my constitution was stuck at 150/450, with no wounds, and I hadn't eaten any food items that affected that particular stat. No idea how it got that way.

workaroud: eat another ormachek. sometimes this fixes it, sometimes not.

Didnt see this in the notes, but my chars uppper stat limits have been increased a lot (eg. for my human char, the max focus i could have was 600, now its almost double). Is this a bug or was this planned? If its a bug and the old values will be returning what will happen to the points that are over the old values?

Armor layer/enhancement resistance issue:


Adding an armor layer or armor enhancement (e.g. Krayt scale) moves the restance from effect to special protection (increases appear to be accurate) BUT slicing does not raise special protections only effect, making slicing for effeect useless.


For example a 4% Krayt scale moves almost all of the resistances to special proection and increases them 4%. Even a bad slice will increase effect more than 4%, making using the scales worthless again. Even a bad slice will raise them for the 4%. Layers due the same thing, making using layers useless again as well. Why add 3 layers with a totalincrease of 30% with a huge encumbrance addition ifyou can't slice the special protectionshigher? Better of with no layers and a 30-35% effect slice and no added encumbrance from the layers.


Perhaps an effect slice should raise effect and special protections, otherwise all you get is a lower resistance piece armor with much higher encumbrance.

Man, Teleo you sure screwed that up. What started as a great, productive post, turned into a barrage of poop. just wanted to say thank you for fixing the droid deed issue, and so many other problems so quickly, i havent logged in yet, but i must ask did the power get fixed? are harvesters and factories now using the proper amount?
