Oook Yeah I've had the vehicle retransportation thing, and also the not able to store it thing, but one thing, that really gets on my nerves, is driving a speeder biek off a cliff, and you don't drop righ away you slowly fall as you are driving away, but I can visually be 100 feet above a rock, and it stops me dead in mid-air, thats really annoying, I know its not much of a game play issue, but its annoying.


The only other thing would be to give the vehicles more momentum so they feel more like hovering bikes, like when turning sharp at fast speeds have the tail swing out or sumthin, jus to make it feel more realistic thats my two cents, good job devs

Howdy;


Fixes seem to be in the works - at least they perform a lot better than publish - sadly my Auto-Store Spare Tire Basic Camp Kits are declining in sales - but fine by me <grin>.


I am curious why we cannot redeed when fully repaired tho - No diff than miners and houses I would imagine. Saw a thread on this somewhere but lost track of it. Should be able to redeed at garage after full repair - then switch to another type of scooter. I have several uses for them but sometimes need the speed and repairs go hang - other uses require it being out for a long period so the trusty Rambler X34 would come out.


Is this even on the table - the redeeding if fully repaired ? Really hate the idea of destroying a perfectly good ride just to use another type <frown>. *poof* there went 2 dozen guns worth of metal - dang, hate when that happens.

I have something i would like to say about howa group of those, well we call em imature children, as i know there are some pretty mature thinking ones out there, have destroyed the economy of things in the game. Used to be that you would be able to sell things like powerups for around 3000 to 4000 a crate depending, now thats gone to around 1000 because of little punks and their ideas for get rich quick which actually waste money and kill economy. This same thing is being seen in game now with vehicles. Seems that they should sell for around 50k for a swoop 35k for a speeder and 25k for a x34, seeing as the swoop requires so much resources to make, but as some people have been doing they are flooding the market with these 10% pieces of crap that they sell for around 10k a pop. Can we get a dev to beat these children with an idiot stick or something. I got an idea a dunce cap would be nice. anyways sorry i was pissed at that.

Have no time to wade through 8000 responses, so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it would be nice if we could use our survey tools whil still in our vehicles. I know I speak for all artisans out there when I say that it's a real pain in the arse to have to dismount every few hundred meters to take another reading. A small point perhaps, but important enough to me to mention it.

I think when u have a gunmans or and tpe of jacket on when ur on a bike it should fly up and down like in the matrix

Ok, my4 issues with vehicles.


1) Vehicle Autostores. It happens WAY WAY TOO SOON!!


Solution: If it's unmounted, and burns up 100 condition, THEN autostore.



2) Changing vehicles. I had to destroy my beautiful swoop to compare it to a landspeeder. (No droid was available with data storage, though I don't know if that would work anyways.) I now fly a Speederbike.


Solution: Vehicles, when destroyed, become deeds again. Condition is restored, but max condition may drop, if all deeds have to be 100% condition.



3) You don't know what you're getting when you get a vehicle deed.


Solution: At a minimum, list the maximum condition on the vehicle deed. Default speed and default burnup are optional, but would be nice.



4) All vehicles are identical.


Solution: A 'NAME VEHICLE' tab on the rotary. And someday, tints, racing stripes, paint jobs, camoflage painting...



Idle thoughts for the future...


Shooting AT VEHICLES and ONLY VEHICLES from other VEHICLES.


Some new specials that could be usedONLY while on a mount or vehicle. I think Rangers should get something like that, anyways.

When I Generate my Speederbike, it immediately takes a 13-point hit (which is normal), but it then takes a 25-point hit every ten minutes. Similarly, my Swoop takes 25 points on Generate (again, normal), then 50 points every ten minutes.

Does Sound like Double--> Test center results show 25 per 10min swoop (last 13 hr), 13 per 10 min speeder (last 25 hr), and 8 per 10 min X34 (lasts for 52 hours). I haven't tested against these numbers primarily because they seem to ballpark what I am seeing.

I have found that when I drive(fly) to a location and exit my speeder to enter a building, when I return my speeder is gone from where I left it. When I call up my data pad it shows it is still generated. I then have to run far enough away from the buildings to a secluded place and make a camp so I can recall my vehicle. A minor problem, but a pain when you're in a hurry.

Good, this is the way it should be. Imperials shouldn't be nice, they should play dirty.... This is the way I like it. I'm a rebel, I have been so since day one. The only reason I choose it is because I honestly thought that it would be the side that was outnumbered/outgunned. (What can I say, I love being the underdog)

My advise is do what I do...store your bike 200m from any city when you're overt and walk inside. The devs shouldnt have to fix what isn't broken...and this isn't broken. It's a good design, there is a penalty for leaving your vehicle out in the open when combat is going on.






Just for the record, I have no problem doing what the imps did, are doing. It's nost definatly in character. It was the solution to the problem that i had an issue with. Yours is much better. What I do now is if i have to come back into town I carefully look first before entering. Of course if they didn't nerf/bug the ability to have a mount and a bot out at the same time, this wouldn't be an issue. So now i simply am forced to run missions without a ride. Ge i wonder how we are going to get our astromech droids and our x-wings out at the same time...... .

Not only that but many times my speeder will autostore while I am doing the survey.
