You can put it on TC... I just read the last severalt pages.. all anyone seems to have a problem with is the 20 meter thing for lottery.. surely that isn't hard to change!?
These loot changes are a very very Good Thing! From theposts here it seems fairly obvcious that increasing the range to about 100 or so meters would be more appropriate than 20. If you have to have an internal meeting or something to discuss this please hurry, as I'm sure 99.9999% of us love the changes we see here and would like them put in ASAP.

Totally agree. System is perfect as far as I am concered. Are people concerned about Leader setting themselves as master looter or something? I agree that this new system would be 100% better than what we currently have, but there are a few factors they need to consider first from what I can tell...
1.) Damage needs to be calculated per entire group, not per person.
2.) The range needs to be more than 20m for the loot lottery.
3.) It seems to me that almost everybody would want to opt in or bid on every item every time. Solo groups showed us how greedy enterprising
most of the playerbase can be.
4.) People would be bothered by the lottery window popping up every time something is looted. People may want an option to automatically bid on all items. (making the window kind of pointless)
5.) A 'round robin' or turn based option might be better than totally random lottery looting. Person 1 gets the first loot, person 2 gets the second, and so on.
Those are just a few off the top of my head. But, before you get me wrong... I am not against them implementing what they have so far or at least fixing the loot message to tell the person looting what they looted or at least tell the group who looted what like it used to.

Those that did not like it where complaining about the 20m loot range which i agree should be raised to 64 (the max fighting range) Or they were ignorat rumblings about the group leader and loot stealing.
Only thing that needs to be done to make this loot change perfict if so adjust how loot rights are determuned for groups and the lottery range to 64. Which ever GROUP deals the most damage not which ever group has the most jedi would be an exelent way for it to work.
It's not that the current version is broken, it's about taking the time to make it better.

As has been said by many people throughout this thread - perhaps one of the reasons they have delayed the implementation of this new system. If so, I for one can't think of a better reason and I think most people would be happy to see the looting rights system amended.
