I'm not sure what kinda **edit** CM's you have on your server, but I do get mind diseased for 200+ points a tick. And each tick is 10-15 seconds. Let me count.. letsee, carry the one, ok I suck at math. Anyways, you can see that my mind can easily bottom out before a doc has a chance to get to me.~45 seconds.
TH,
plz tell thank you so much to all your colegues involved in this MAJOR and awesome new!
In you post you just gave us hope :
We got a precise answer, all details involved and finally we got what most of the players wanted ![]()
Anyway, in your post you justmade the proofSOE is capable of having the appropriate communication we are all lookingfor. I mean even if the answer would have been negative.
I'm pretty sure it was a very hard decision to take because it could open the door for some players to try to do the same on others hot subjects.
As some points are unclear on the factional decay system could you make a new topic so we could discuss of specific issues?
Ty.

Personally it doesnt make much sense to me why you should have any wounds upon cloning unless you cloned already wounded. That would be a "true" clone. You go in, record yourself fully healthy, get smacked with disease and flame then die, you should come back as you were prior to the engagement. Unwounded, no TEF on anyone just your overt statues returned to covert (unless you cloned overt) then you should be cloned overt.
Call it weakness...when your clone is activated out of a tank where it has never used its muscles before....a little weakness would be normal.
Also, for the record, if you CURRENTLY (as in right now in the game) clone in a clone center in which you haven't stored your clone data...what happens? Drumroll...............you clone with heavy wounds. This is not a major change from things that are already in game....they just increase the already existing wound penalty.
This is great news indeed.
Though, something occured to me. And it makes me put my foot in my mouth, especially since I was a flaming moron in all my posts in that Development thread.
I was under the impression that Overt players should get all the love. Overt should grant you free pass.
However, it occurs to me that since you clarified that you cannot differentiate pvp deaths from pve deaths, how easily such a thing can be exploited to the benefit of the player. You know when it's a faction death, because the system is prepared to grant faction points to the player upon death, so that alone gives you a premise to appply the "don't penalize" rule. You can use the Imperial/Rebel faction standing to also assist in knowing. With general PvE, I suppose you don't know which is which? Is that about right? However, PvP deaths (faction aligned dueling aside), also grant faction. I confused myself but that's not my point.
My point is, just because you always roll Overt doesn't mean you won't go hunting Krayts Overt, simply to use that to your advantage to bypass insurance. I mean, a lot of players whined about Overt Imperials being unstoppable with their 3 AT-STs, slaughtering Krayt dragons easily. What's to say Overt players won't use some insurance perk to their advantage, if Overts got some free pass?
I sincerly apologize to anyone who had to read my drivelin the other threads regarding this. I was a huge fan of decay in previous threads when SWG Discussion was open. I never stopped PvPing. I never will either.
Now, if we could only fix them pesky bases.. but alas! Patience.
Thanks TH. Awesome job, and thanks for the insight. You can trust us every now and again for decent info.
Thanks.
OOPS!
I forgot to post the question again:
