I understand that auto's were first. You missed the question though. Why the hell are people with nothing but badges and 1-2 professions being visited first? Is this a screwup or a bug, or plainly another lie? I know that I am most displeased with how they tell us on pub10 day, hey guys we changed the old system to be 8 holo's. **edit** is up with that. I would have stopped after holo #1 if I knew that!!! I hate grinding, it ruins the game, it is so much like real life jobs, it is not even funny. I agree that Jedi should be much harder to attain. I am not a developer though, I feel really bad for the pre-pub 9 jedi, because they are getting yanked over on this one, as well as people that did grind, to get in AFTER someone that flew around on a bike and grabbed some stupid POI badges, that half of them were 100's of meters away from the given WP.
Just a thought, I would not want to be a dev if you paid me, I give them credit for trying their best, and remember what rolls downhill, they were told to do something, blame the owners not the devs.

Hello All,
I completed 12 professions before Pub 10, did 4 holos and my 5th went silent. I'm confused on TH's post regarding "holo-profession". Since I did 4 holos does that equate to only having 1 profession left in the conversion chart? Or since it was raised to 8 towards the end am I reading the post wrong?
Not sure if this matters but I was not "glowy" the morning of pub 10. I checked that morning and only had a strong sense of the force. I went glowy this morning after finishing the warren badges.
If someone can help me with the conversion it would be greatly appreciated.

I am a software dev and I can definitely feel their pain right now. It's a lose/lose for them either way you cut it when it comes to public opinion.

9:00pm est, gorath server, northwest of bestine the old man approached me we had a talk, he gave me a crystal and i kicked him in his arse and told him theres alot of angrypeople out there so move it. So i guess somthings working : \... I have "Glowy" since tuesday, almost 100badges, (not the corvette) 26 profession badges and no unlock to my knowledge... but thats it, no sith attacked me and no further progress thus far.

im sitting in the middle of nowhere, no one aroudn me. The old man is t here. I hit converse...says he has nothing to talk about with me....whats up with that???

I have completed 32 professions after pach 9 and this was only becuase i was mayorone guild city.
This patch has forced me toresign as mayor becuase cause your main is the fs and then forced me to waite for some old man.
There has been no clear direction to how to get him to spawn. Allmost every one in my guildis at the same point as me waiting for the old man.
So then someone in my guildwho has not unlocked or done more than 3 profrssions got the crystal from the old man.
I have more than 100 badges and 32 professions mastered and he hasn't spawn I been waiting outside1000 meters outside city taking shuttles and going off planet.
This is stupid and people how had unlocked shuold have been given the right to enter the city and how hard is that to code.
Lets see my guild has 80 poeple and half 40are waiting for the old man so if you if you extrapilate this out half of each sever is waiting for the old man to spawn. So 1000 spawns of the old man on each sever a day?
No Then How many!!
Hmm and that rule about the unlocker getting the old man to spawn first hmm was the code tested?
Hmm BH hunter for hermits quest didin't spawn unitil they fixed the bug a month later hmm..
Also BH code for drode speed was reversed mabey if you unlocked you have to wait until all the non unlocker got there crystal.
2 day waiting for the Old man and approximaly 4 hour a day.
I never post and this is realy get me mad !!!
Time to take a break from this game...

I might have missed this but I have done 3 theme parks and have at least 20 other badges and am still faint with the force....are the theme parks i did before publish 10 not iving me proper credit? I poster here said they finished jabba's and went from faint to bein one with the force.....

I want to say thanks to "Quarantine1978"... first person to write a complaint in favour of us grinders and not from a personal perspective! Yes, it is also true that the only posts are negative because those happy with the game are in game playing... but seriously, come on... I have been at my computer online since tuesday reboot and launch of p.10 (31 profs comp)... and it is very discouraging (accepting the fact that there is "gating" on entrance to the village) that people with 2 profs and a couple poi's are being picked over myself.. and more importantly, those who actually unlocked! the waiting sux.. i'll do it... i did 31 profs and it was honestly hard on me... just hope its all worth it..!

Thanks right back at ya. I just wish we could be told something more about what is going on in the game. I sometimes think of this game with spyware, you install it, not knowing what you are getting, and best of all if anything is said it is in microscopic print. JUST COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. Someone wrote about us whining, and compared it to KFC, but I do agree partially, but to point out, it is more like walking into KFC ordering chicken and getting a damn cheeseburger!!! Whats up with that!

all i want to know is 2 things.
1. What group am i in(have mastered 5 professions and am glowing)
2. also which ever group i am in how long will i probally have to wait to get into the village
ps... by the way i have already canceled 2 of my 3 accounts
