I find it amazing that so many people are complaining now that they have to pay to fix their vehicles, I bet the same one's complain that there is too much money around too, well now there is a solution
I wouldn't mind having to pay to repair my vehicles if the cost weren't so rediculous. Went hunting on Endor yesterday, through 3 sets of buffs. I ended up paying 18k or so to fix my vehicles, not including travel costs because there's no garage on Endor. It's rediculous, especially since the autostore bug hasn't been fixed and you can repair a vehicle but if it autostores on you it doesn't save the repair and you have to pay for it a second time. And there needs to be a way to repair disabled vehicles because there are some kids who pick a person's vehicle as thier first target.

They wern't talking about normal repair.
Your vehicle is TEFed with you. If someone happens to run across you in transit and you are TEFed, they can shoot your speeder right out from under you... really heartwrenching when it's a not-so-easily-replaceable AV-21...
The shooting of speeders adds to the strategy of PvP. Thus do not use your AV-21 when PvP-ing... also if disables can be repaired...they once again will ruin a market for people who make speeders. You will only need one ever.
Make it a repair kit made by artisans. Problem solved.
Hope that helps.
It seems that most people are upset about vehicles being destroied during PvP. Well if you join a faction that you are agreeing to be involved in PvP whether you like it or not. So, why not make disabled vehicle repair cost FP. Say80% of your current FP max to repair one vehicle? That way if you've got a high priced vehicle you can repair it, but if you have a cheapy you'd rather buy a new one. Why put the people who sell vehicles out of business to appease the achievers?
GCW:
The new nova class elite troopers are a great idea...in theory, however I've seen numerous problems dealing with them. First of all im not sure if all of them have this but I saw a couple with 110k HAMs! (if you dont recall this is the amount the ackley has!) so why does a storm trooper have HAMs like an ackley? and ontop of that they have heavy armor which is much harder to penatrate...not to mension that they are EVERYWHERE, they have replaced every normal ST in Mos Espa that I can tell and are so buff that no one has a chance to deffend themselves if they get scanned, I am a master commando/almost master TK that had a full doc buff and using mind enhancements and I got incapped in near 5 shots...? not to mension the fact that neutral NPCs attack them on site, so im sure there are some bugs being sorted out right now...however I do admit it was entertaining watching an Entertainer Trainer pull out a rifle and shoot, slowly killing what I couldn't touch. Now I could understand the need for some stronger ST but this powerful in such great numbers? this is the kind of thing that even makes Imps mad...no rebel in the right mind is going to attack theese, so no imp can back stab them while they are under attack by 4 ST...it deffeats the purpose of the crackdown! now I can get no xp unless I run missions which is normally bugged to give me either to easy or WAY to hard missions...I would like it if the Nova class was somehow fixed (either completely nerfed so they are attackable, or so that there is only a couple in an area with a HEAVY amount of normal ST, for instance Mos Espa should have near 4 in the entire city. however I could understand some heavy placement, such as near the Imperal retreat and areas specificly made as an Imp theme park) I am VERY unimpressed by the nova class, it turned my only good xp site in the game into a place where I am afraid to go to after hunting at the Tusken fort...which has also gone through hard times due to EVERY person in the world trying to get ahold of the tusken uniform, so people who dont even need xp are crowding the place leeching off any kill they can manage for just a chance that they might be able to loot some of the items.
on a lighter note I love the faster shuttle waits and the fact I may be able to do something on dantooine again. Also the manual turrets is a great idea and the 2 minute ent buff is also a GREAT idea, I hated waiting 8...and if you can throw traps indoors...can you throw grenades in caves and such?
I'm disappointed by the Musician/Dancer buff minimum time. I understand fixing the 30-second exploit, that was a bit ridiculous. But now, the fastest buff I can do is 3 minutes. This is because 5 flourishes take about 8 seconds to register with the server, and allow more flourishes. not bad....but still takes too long for paying customers to be satisfied. 15 seconds required between a /stopmusic and /startmusic has created an extreme annoyancewhen switching instruments or running out of action *right* before someone heals you. Thanks for the heal, i need to wait 15 seconds to keep healing *you* now. Do something about this, please.
Given the ability to use food/drink instead of musician/dancer buffs, and the stupid hologrinding AFK entertainer reputation that cantinas now have, AND the new "spiffy" lagbots you've implemented for entertainer effects, cantina business is going to die, pretty much. You're effectively destroying the Entertainer professions. Please realize this is what you're achieving with these changes.
Disabled vehicles comment - do *not* make another repair tool that I'll need to carry around as a Master Artisan. Please. Give Master Artisans an ability (a command) to just fix vehicles outright. A datapad trade, Reenable option for Master Artisans will do the trick. I sell vehicles that are quality, if they break I should be able to fix them, no charge if so inclined with no penalty to me. The last thing we need is to charge customers a lot for a Swoop made with expensive materials, our customers have them disabled, and they get hit up for a lot to repair them by just 1 lousy point or something. Repairing vehicles so they only have 1 point (as some have suggested) would make the repair from disabled useless anyways unless you're right at a garage, when you store/bring the bike out, it ticks off -25 points. Let a Master Artisan fix disabled vehicles at garages for about 50 points, so that we have a place to hang out (garages)like Entertainers do with cantinas - but optionally we can fix the bike at our shops and our customers can haul it to a garage and repair it then. This would make for some interesting RP as well "Camshaft is busted, one moment."
Also - totally ridiculous that you require vehicle repairs when repairs don't stick. Shameful. You're dooming everyone to disabled vehicles. Unacceptable. From what I heard, Test Center had the repair bug fixed. Put it onLive NOW. No excuse to pay moneytorepair a good vehicle only to have the repair totally useless. I build quality vehicles and expect my customers to get decent (at least functional) repairs when they need them. Fix the autostore bug, too - no reason why this should perpetuate at this point. You have some vehicle work to do, folks - so please do it.
Thanks for the hard work, keep at it.And please listen tothe community concernsregarding this patch. There are many things that are making many people unhappy, not just whiners, but good players with very valid concerns and disappointments.
