I think the SWG Community deserves a response from the Devs, I mean, no one on Naritus has seen the BH in a long time, just like every other galaxy from the sounds of it. What doesn't make any sense to me is why it would be working for a few days and then suddenly break? I don't think there were any changes to the system, at least none that we were told about. Just in case I'm not making myself clear....

Intellect is broken on Eclipse too.


I wouldn't bother holding your breath for a dev response - you'll suffocate long before they respond.

The Quest idea is a very good idea, but the quest as thing is dump!

I looked for this farmer 12hours and i don't found him yet. I thought i should look after the bounty hunter, but after 7hours driving from city to city or waiting 3hours in Mos Eisley don't bring my oppinion about this quest in a positiv way.
The pirates are waiting somewhere for me since 9hours.
If you can count, you can see that i'd searched the people for nearly a day! So i must say this quest is the very last thing.

I started the Hermit quest the day it went live, spent 3 days just trying to find the Farmer and the Pirates. I was extemely fortunate (and am very thankful) that someone noticed I was doing the quests and sent me a WP for a current spawning of the Boar. But I have been looking for the BH spawn ever since!


either the devs are lying and it's borked (no real surprise there...) or it's so damned rare that, considering the number of people I've personally seen to be looking, we'll be lucky to get that final elusive badge before JTLS is on IT'S publish 10


TH - I consider the lack of response to this entire thread to be exceptionally RUDE and INCONSIDERATE.


But hey! I'm beginning to expect nothing less....

Nearly THREE WEEKS, and we still have no Hero/BH/Intellect fix?


This was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of the PUBLISH...

PLEASE GET THIS WORKING AS AN IMMEDIATE PRIORITY!

SO, we all know by now that the BH/Intellect spawn seems to have been fixed on Bria, but no where else...

Anyone care to hazard a guess as to why?
Seems as if the DEVs managed to get Bria spawns up and running...why not Ahazi or Bloodfin or Eclipse or any of the

other high population servers?

Now, I know the team is QUITE busy on damage control, hoping to hold this Hindenburg afloat...but how about you all

DELIVER ON THE DAMN PUBLISH AS ADVERTISED. DROP ALL ELSE UNTIL IT IS WORKING!


If SOE would just do ONE DAMN THING RIGHT AT A TIME, then perhaps we could cease this one-step forward, two-steps back **edit** we experience with each new publish.

Yes there is a problem as I have already posted. It is not spawning correctly on all servers. We are investigating a fix and when we know more we will let you know.





Ok. This is good news, but some of us don't understand why this is a difficult thing to fix and why it has taken literrally weeks.


Remember, this was one of the touted features of Publish 9 and it only worked for about 1 week.


In any case, it seems that players have figured out what the problem is, and the fix to that problem cannot be hard.


In some cities (e.g., Mos Taike on the Wanderhome server), other NPCs are overspawning. Thus, for example, there will be multiple groups of 3 to 5 Spynet Operatives standing on top of each other.


This overspawning and overpopulation of white NPCs seems to prevent the spawn.


If the spawn does not appear in a particular city because of this, it cannot be utilized and the spawn will not move to another city.


Thus, no BH spawns at all.


The fact that the aboveis the problem is evinced by observations of players in servers where the BH spawn is working.


On those servers, there is no NPC overspawning/overpopulation.


Therefore, the BH and the related NPCs are able to spawn, be used, and spawn again elsewhere.


How hard can this problem be to fix.


If the Devs can go in and respawn an NPC, as they have with the Agrilat Swoop Track droid when it has mysteriously despawned, I'm sure they can go in and despawn some damn Spynet Operatives.


I also suspect they have the ability to manually spawn the BH and observe what happens with him, and figure out if he is respawning after use.


Come on folks.
