If you go through my post history, you could go back pages and pages and pages and find that all my posts have been one-starred.
It doesn't necesarrily make me angry or sad... but it's just a little disappointing to see I won't get those higher ranks.

Nice to hear folks one star banditting will get their ability to "Star" revoked! Good news.
The star system *is* a fun way of feedback.It certainly helps encourage the RP stories out there.

Learn the game and forums then you can criticize.
I think that this change will be pretty fun, and I love the new name colors. I’m really curious about the new avatars and forum abilities…
I just wish that there were more levels on the high end of the "normal" ranking system. I think that it will be like it is now, where almost all of the forum “regulars” will be Leaders or Advocates – there will be very little diversity as the majority of forum contributors are long-time players with somewhat high post counts.
In thinking about it more, and a little polling on our server, I think that it will be almost impossible for long-time, active forum members to display "star ranks." The star ranks will only appear if they’re equal to or higher than your normal rank. *Lots* of people will be normal rank 8 or 9, which equates to a 4.7 or 4.9, respectively, in the star ranking system. In looking at the active members on my server, almost all are 3.2 or lower. I really don’t envision active members to be able to get much higher than star rank 2 or 3, unless the system changes.

A: We will have this list as well as the associated privileges posted when we convert to the new system.

Let one of the new privleges be the ability to lock one's own thread!
I have always wanted this... of course if it was 'abused', it would be revoked... and it should only be for highly ranked post-ers.
